Si-C Foam Porous-Medium Combustion Power-Generation System for Low-Calorific-Value Biomass Syngas

Syngas produced from the gasification of organic feedstocks from biomass is one of the clean and sustainable sources of *** advantages of simple access and renewability of biomass energy can meet the energy needs of temporary power *** study presents a biomass power-generation system for vehicular *** biomass and a free-piston Stirling engine generator（FPSEG） as the primary material and prime mover,respectively,biomass energy is converted into electricity by combusting the syngas to heat the *** and key parameter design for biomass gasification and thermoelectric conversion systems within a power generation system were performed.A porous medium area was constructed using Si-C foam ceramics to obtain an energy-conversion experimental *** effects of bed height,porosity,porous-region diameter,and air-intake conditions on the power-generation performance were investigated,and optimisations were performed for the thermoelectric conversion *** rate of increase during FPSEG power generation first increased and then decreased with increasing bed height,peaking at a bed height of 40 *** increasing porous-region diameter accelerated FPSEG power generation,whereas porosity changes in the porous media did not significantly affect the rate of change during FPSEG power *** increasing air intake,the rate of increase during power generation first increased and then *** maximum change rate and the highest thermoelectric conversion efficiency of the power-generation system occurred at 9.5 m3/h and 6.5 m3/h（～45.1%）air intakes,*** the thermal inertia and combustion structure of the thermoelectric conversion system significantly increased the power-generation rate of the system,with 1.8 W/s being observed at a 9.7 m3/h air intake.

The coronavirus disease 2019（COVID-19） outbreak caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2（SARS-CoV-2） developed into a global health emergency. Systemic microthrombus caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection is a common complication in patients with COVID-19. Cardiac microthrombosis as a complication of SARS-CoV-2 infection is the primary cause of cardiac injury and death in patietns with severe COVID-19. In this study, we performed single-cell sequencing analysis of the right ventricular free wall tissue from healthy donors,patients who died during the hypercoagulable period of characteristic coagulation abnormality（CAC）, and patients who died during the fibrinolytic period of CAC. We collected 61,187 cells enriched in 24 immune cell subsets and 13 cardiac-resident cell subsets. We found that in the course of SARS-CoV-2 infected heart microthrombus, MYO1EhighRASGEF1Bhighmonocyte-derived macrophages promoted hyperactivation of the immune system and initiated the extrinsic coagulation pathway by activating chemokines CCL3, CCL5. This series of events is the main cause of cardiac microthrombi following SARS-CoV-2 infection. In a SARS-CoV-2 infected heart microthrombus, excessive immune activation is accompanied by an increase in cellular iron content, which in turn promotes oxidative stress and intensifies intercellular competition. This induces cells to alter their metabolic environment, resulting in increased sugar uptake via the glycosaminoglycan synthesis pathway. In addition, high levels of reactive oxygen species generated by elevated iron levels promote increased endogenous malondialdehyde synthesis in a subpopulation of cardiac endothelial cells. This exacerbates endothelial cell dysfunction and exacerbates the coagulopathy process.

The pre-wetting of aggregate surface is a means to improve the interface performance of SBS modified asphalt and *** effect of pre-wetting technology on the interaction between SBS modified asphalt and aggregate was analyzed by molecular dynamics *** diffusion coefficient and concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on aggregate surface are *** simulation results show that the diffusion coefficient of the aggregate surface of SBS modified asphalt is increased by 47.6%and 70.5%respectively after 110#asphalt and 130#asphalt are *** concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on the aggregate surface after pre-wetting is more *** to the results of interface energy calculation,the interface energy of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate can be increased by about 5%after *** to the results of molecular dynamics simulation,the pre-wetting technology can effectively improve the interface workability of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate,so as to improve the interface performance.

The development of alkaline fuel cells is moving forward at an accelerated pace,and the application of ether-free bonded polymers to anion exchange membranes （AEMs） has been widely ***,the question of the“trade-off”between AEM ionic conductivity and dimensional stability remains *** strategy of inducing microphase separation to improve the performance of AEM has attracted much attention recently,but the design of optimal molecular structures is still being ***,this work introduced different ratios of 3-bromo-1,1,1-trifluoroacetone （x=40,50,and 60） into the main chain of poly（p-terphenylene isatin）.Because fluorinated groups have excellent hydrophobicity,hydrophilic hydroxyl-containing side chains are introduced to jointly adjust the formation of phase separation *** results show that PTI-PTF50-NOH AEM with the appropriate fluorinated group ratio has the best ionic conductivity and alkali stability under the combined effect of *** has an ionic conductivity of 133.83 mS cm-1at 80°*** addition,the OH-conductivity remains at 89%of the initial value at 80°C and 3 M KOH for 1056 h of *** cell polarization curve based on PTI-PTF50-NOH shows a power density of 734.76 mW cm-2at a current density of 1807.7 mA cm-2.

Visible-light-responsive homologous heterostructure of oxynitrides constructed to boost charge separation and water splitting

Constructing type II heterostructures represents a widely recognized strategy for enhancing charge separation and photocatalytic efficiency,but it remains challenging to fabricate homologous heterostructures based on visible-light-responsive semiconductors,especially for popularly investigated （oxy）nitrides with low thermal ***,we synthesized a homologous heterostructure （denoted as YTON＿H） based on the oxynitrides of YTaO4-xNyand YTa *** heterostructure exhibits type II band structure alignment and intimate interface achieved through a magnesium （Mg） powder-assisted nitridation *** with widely reported heterologous heterostructures,the as-obtained YTON＿H homologous heterostructure could similarly exhibit enhanced charge separation as well as photocatalytic water splitting performance with respect to its counterparts(YTaO4-xNyand YTaON2).Meanwhile,detailed structural characterizations and spectroscopy analysis have been made to confirm the formation of heterostructure and promotion of spatial charge separation.

Multi-source and multi-temporal remote sensing image classification for flood disaster monitoring

Flood disasters can have a serious impact on people's production and lives, and can cause huge ***-sourceremotesensingdata,thisstudyestablished decision tree classification rules through multi-source and multi-temporal feature fusion, classified ground objects before the disaster and extracted flood information in the disaster area based on optical images during the disaster, so as to achieve rapid acquisition of the disaster situation of each disaster bearing *** the case of Qianliang Lake, which suffered from flooding in 2020, the results show that decision tree classification algorithms based on multi-temporal features can effectively integrate multi-temporal and multispectral information to overcome the shortcomings of single-temporal image classification and achieve ground-truth object classification.

Optimal Sizing of Electricity-hydrogen Integrated Energy System Considering Multi-timescale Operation of Hydrogen Storage System

Responding to the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals and the actual demand for local consumption of distributed renewable energy sources, this paper proposes a method to optimize the capacity of an electricity-hydrogen integrated energy system to meet the demand for multiple loads of electricity, heat, and hydrogen to deal with multi-timescale energy mismatches. Firstly, a hybrid energy storage system model containing batteries and cascade hydrogen storage and a multi-timescale operation strategy are proposed. The model fully exploits the short-term and long-term operational characteristics of hydrogen storage to realize its multi-scale utilization. Secondly, to address the challenges in describing the operation characteristics of long-term energy storage devices based on the traditional typical scenario method, a novel scenario reduction method based on the time-series aggregation method is proposed to provide consecutive scenarios comprising both short-time fluctuations and seasonal characteristics. The technique can effectively speed up the solution and ensure its accuracy. After that, a system capacity optimization model is developed based on the typical scenarios to minimize the life cycle cost and consider factors including energy storage’s degradation and the consumption rate of renewable energy. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by cases in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The results indicate that the life cycle cost can be reduced by 21.3% with nearly 100% renewable energy consumption compared to the traditional energy management strategy. © 2025 Power System Technology Press. Effect of Inonotus Obliquus Polysaccharides on physical fatigue in mice

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the potential beneficial effects of Inonotus obliquuspolysaccharides(IOP) on the alleviation of physical fatigue in ***: Sixty-four male mice were randomly divided into four groups(n = 16 per group). Mice were orally administered IOP for a period of 14 days at 0,100,200 and 300 mg/kg/d,and were assigned to the control,IOP-100,IOP-200,and IOP-300 groups,respectively by the random number table method. Mice in the control group received an oral administration of sterile distilled water. A forced swimming test was performed for 8 mice per group at one hour after the last treatment. The other 8mice in each group swam for 30 min. Blood,liver and muscle samples were taken after resting for30 min. Levels of blood urea nitrogen and lactate,as well as glycogen contents of the liver and muscle were measured. Morphology of liver was observed by light ***: IOP extended the swimming time of mice,and increased the glycogen content of liver and muscle,but decreased blood lactic acid and serum urea nitrogen levels. IOP had no toxic effects on major organs such as the liver as assessed by histopathological ***: IOP might be a potential anti-fatigue pharmacological agent.
