The spacer used in gas insulated switchgear(GIS)plays a vital role in its safe *** mismatch of mechanical properties between conductor and insulating material in spacers results in stress concentration at the interface between *** a hydrostatic test,mechanical damages are often initiated from the *** this paper,the stress between aluminum conductors and epoxy resin is studied by using a simplified coaxial structure *** measurement system and finite element simulation are used to explore the generation of stress and strain during curing and *** real-time measurement of strain at the interface shows that the residual strain in the entire process is primarily generated during the cooling ***,the temperature and stress/strain distribution at the interface during the cooling stage are further studied,and combined with experiments and *** consistency between the finite element simulation and the experimental measurement results verifies the validity of the simulation method *** results show that the maximum of the first principal stress generated during the cooling stage of the production process is concentrated on the upper and lower edges of the interface which is critical to the impact of the production quality of the spacer.

In a cyber-physical power system, active distribution network(ADN) facilitates the energy control through hierarchical and distributed control system(HDCS). Various researches have dedicated to develop the control strategies of primary devices of ADN. However, an ADN demonstration project shows that the information transmission of HDCS may cause time delay and response lag, and little model can describe both the ADN primary device and HDCS as a cyber-physical system(CPS). In this paper, a hybrid system based CPS model is proposed to describe ADN primary devices, control information flow, and HDCS. Using the CPS model, the energy process of primary devices and the information process of HDCS are optimized by model predictive control(MPC) methodology to seamlessly integrate the energy flow and the information flow. The case study demonstrates that the proposed CPS model can accurately reflect main features of HDCS, and the control technique can effectively achieve the operation targets on primary devices despite the fact that HDCS brings adverse effects to control process.

The probability-assessment analyses on the characteristic value of voltage dip by using Monte Carlo stochastic modeling method to stimulate the randomness of the short circuit fault are introduced. Using Matlab and power Systems CAD(PSCAD), we design control interface which combines the electromagnetic transient simulation with the Monte Carlo method. Specifically, the designing of interface which is meant to employ the method of Matlab programming to control the electromagnetic transients including direct current(EMTDC)simulation is introduced. Furthermore, the influences of the protection devices on the voltage dip to ensure the authenticity and the referential reliability are simulated. A system with the inverse-time protection devices equipped on each line which can coordinate together is designed to cut off the short-circuit fault. The voltage dip of the designed system is assessed by the pre- and post-system average root mean square(RMS) variation frequency index, and the voltage dip index is compared with the Information Technology Industry Council(ITIC)curves. The simulation results demonstrate that the inverse-time relay protection equipments are well-coordinated,and the severity and the range of the voltage dip are influenced by the cooperation of the equipped inverse-time protection devices.

Evolutionary Game-theoretic Modeling of Massive Distributed Renewable Energy Deployment Towards Low-carbon Distribution Networks

This paper proposes an evolutionary game-theoretic model of massive distributed renewable energy deployment in order to shed light on the self-organization sustainable developments of renewable energies in distribution networks towards low-carbon targets. Since neighboring buses can interact in terms of energy exchanges, the return matrices of individual buses in the evolutionary game are established based on profiles of loads and renewable energy generation. More specifically, an evolutionary strategy is proposed based on the return matrices for individual buses to determine whether or not to deploy renewable energies in the next round of the game. Then, a dynamic model is derived for analyzing the renewable energy penetration rate in the distribution network throughout the multi-round evolutionary game. In theory, this model can reveal the self-organization process of renewable energy deployment in the distribution network. With this model, the distribution network operator would be aided in designing the incentives for buses deploying renewable energies toward a pre-defined low-carbon target. Numerical results on an actual 141-bus system and a synthetic 2000-bus system have demonstrated the validity and efficiency of the proposed model.
