Oxidation behavior of Fe40Al-xWC composite coatings obtained by high-velocity oxygen fuel thermal spray

The Fe40Al-xWC(x=0,10,12,15)coatings with dense structure were successfully deposited by high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF)spraying of a mixture of Fe,Al and WC *** objective of the present work is to provide insight into the oxidation behavior of the as-deposited coatings at 650℃under 0.1 MPa flowing pure *** present results show differences in the oxidation behavior of Fe40Al coating and Fe40Al-xWC composite *** irregular Fe2O3 layer is seen on the top surface of the composite ***40Al coating and Fe40Al-15WC composite coating both suffer a catastrophic corrosion due to the formation of a porous structure during 24 h of ***,Fe40Al-10WC and Fe40Al-12WC composite coatings show a good oxidation resistance behavior due to their dense structure.

A Design Method of the Rotor Auxiliary Slot for the Water-filled Submersible Induction Motors

Aiming at the problem of electromagnetic vibration of the water-filled submersible induction motor(WSIM),a method of opening auxiliary slots on the rotor side is proposed to weaken the air-gap field harmonics caused by the rotor slot permeance *** analyzing the research status of electromagnetic vibration of the WSIM and the composition of the air-gap magnetic field of the motor,the idea that the auxiliary slots mainly affect the air-gap field harmonics by changing the air-gap permeance of the motor is put *** mathematical model of air-gap permeance of WSIM is established to simulate the influence of auxiliary slots on the air-gap *** the parametric analysis of the mathematical model,the change of auxiliary slot size is *** air-gap permeance waveform is decomposed by the two-dimensional Fourier transform,and then the variation of the air-gap permeance harmonics with the size of the auxiliary slot is ***,the finite element simulation model of the WSIM with the auxiliary slots is established,and the waveform of the air-gap flux density of the motor is analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the mathematical ***,the results show that after opening the auxiliary slot,the radial electromagnetic force of the motor was reduced by 28.4%.

Prediction of medium-to-coal ratio effect in a dense medium cyclone by using both traditional and coarse-grained CFD-DEM models

Dense medium cyclone(DMC)is the working horse in coal *** practice,it is usually operated under constant pressure and the operational conditions(mainly medium-to-coal(M:C)ratio and oper-ational pressure)need to be adjusted according to coal washability data(mainly coal particle size and density distributions).Nonetheless,until now it is still not well understood how the M:C ratio would affect the performance of DMCs especially under the practical *** this work,the effect of M:C ratio is for the first time numerically studied under conditions similar to plant operation by using both tra-ditional and coarse-grained(CG)combined approach of computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and discrete element method(DEM),called as traditional CFD-DEM and CG CFD-DEM,in which the flow of coal par-ticles is modelled by DEM or CG DEM which applies Newton's laws of motion to individual particles and that of medium flow by the conventional CFD which solves the local-averaged Navier-Stokes equations,allowing consideration of particle-fluid mutual interaction and particle-particle ***,impulse and momentum connection law is used to achieve energy conservation between traditional CFD-DEM and CG *** is found that under constant pressure,the M:C ratio affects DMC perfor-mance *** specific effect depends on coal washability or coal *** extremely low M:C ratio,the phenomenon that high-quality coal product is misplaced to reject is successfully repro-duced,which has been observed in plants in Australian coal industry and called as"low-density tail".Moreover,strategies are proposed to mitigate the"low-density tail"phenomenon based on the model.

PbTiO_(3)nanorods with tetragonal phase were synthesized by hydrothermal method and heat treatment,and temperature-dependent electrical transport properties of individual PbTiO_(3)nanorod were *** results show that the conductivities of PbTiO_(3)nanorods are gradually enhanced with temperature increasing from 77.4 to 295 K,and exhibit the typical nonlinear Ⅰ–Ⅴ *** barrier height between Au electrode and nanorod is reduced from 0.137 to 0.088 eV with increasing bias from 0.2 to 1 *** corresponding values of thermal activation energies are 0.172 and 0.06 eV below the conduction band for 180–295 and 77.4–180 K,*** semiconductor-like behavior may result from the larger number of surface defects or localized states in the amorphorized PbTiO_(3).

本文设计了一款X波段2×2宽带圆极化的微带天线。为了拓宽天线圆极化性能,天线阵列采用循环馈电方式,并且天线单元和馈电网络设计在同一层微带板上,避免了复杂的圆极化天线馈电问题。为验证设计,天线进行了实物加工并测试。测试结果显示,天线可实现反射系数10 dB,轴比<3 dB的综合带宽为18%,具有较好的宽带辐射性能。由于天线仅在单层微带板上设计,相比于多层馈电的圆极化天线,此天线不仅便于单独加工,也更适合于批量生产。
