Cause analysis of expressway traffic accidents based on accident statistics of Hunan provincial expressway in 2012-2018

Based on the 2012–2018 accident statistics on the Hunan provincial Expressway in China,this paper analyses the proportion to which various factors contribute to accidents,as well as the trends over *** 2012 to 2018,the total number of general procedure handling accidents(*** accidents)increased first and then decreased,while the number of accidents and deaths per 1000 kilometres decreased year by *** total number of simple procedure handling accidents(*** accidents)increased year by year,but the number of accidents per 1000 kilometres remained relatively ***,fatigued driving,improper driving operation,failure to maintain a safe distance from the preceding vehicle and pedestrians entering the expressway are the main causes of general procedure handling *** to maintain a safe distance from the preceding vehicle as required and improper driving operation accounted for approximately 2/3 of the simple procedure handling *** view of the accidents caused by these factors,how to use law enforcement,education,science and technology and facilities construction to further reduce the occurrence of expressway traffic accidents is discussed.

The application of thermal diodes,which allow heat to flow more readily in one direction than the other,is an important way to reduce energy consumption in buildings and enhance the battery heat dissipation of electric *** on various factors including the specific design,materials used,and operating conditions,the convective thermal diode can exhibit the best thermal rectification effect in intended applications compared to the other thermal *** this study,a novel convective thermal diode with a wick was proposed based on the phase change heat transfer *** design takes advantage of both capillary forces provided by the wick and gravity to achieve enhanced unidirectional heat transfer performance for the designed convective thermal *** effect of the filling liquid ratio on the thermal performance of the thermal diode was experimentally investigated,which was in good agreement with the theoretical *** research findings showed that with an optimal liquid filling ratio of 140%,the thermal diode with a wick can achieve a better thermal rectification ratio when subjected to a lower heating power,and the maximum thermal rectification ratio of 21.76 was experimentally achieved when the heating power of the thermal diode was 40 W.

With the burgeoning emphasis on sustainable construction practices in China,the demand for green building assessment has significantly *** overall evaluation process comprises two key components:The acquisition of evaluation data and the evaluation of green scores,both of which entail considerable time and *** research predominantly concentrated on automating the latter process,often neglecting the exploration of automating the former in accordance with the Chinese green building assessment ***,there is a pressing requirement for more streamlined management of structured standard knowledge to facilitate broader *** response to these challenges,this paper presents a conceptual framework that integrates building information modeling,ontology,and web map services to augment the efficiency of the overall evaluation process and the management of standard *** specifically,in accordance with the Assessment standard for Green Building(GB/T 50378-2019)in China,this study innovatively employs visual programming software,Dynamo in Autodesk Revit,and the application programming interface of web map services to expedite the acquisition of essential architectural data and geographic information for green building ***,ontology technology is harnessed to visualize the management of standard knowledge related to green building assessment and to enable the derivation of green scores through logical ***,a residential building is employed as a case study to validate the theoretical and technical feasibility of the developed automated evaluation conceptual framework for green *** research findings hold valuable utility in providing a self-assessment method for applicants in the field.

The South China Sea is a hotspot for regional climate *** the past 40 years,considerable improvement has been made in the development and utilization of the islands in the South China Sea,leading to a substantial change in the land-use of the ***,research on the impact of human development on the local climate of these islands is *** study analyzed the characteristics of local climate changes on the islands in the South China Sea based on data from the Yongxing Island Observation station and ERA5 ***,the influence of urbanization on the local climate of the South China Sea islands was explored in this *** findings revealed that the 10-year average temperature in Yongxing Island increased by approximately 1.11℃from 1961 to 2020,and the contribution of island development and urbanization to the local warming rate over 60 years was approximately 36.2%.The linear increasing trend of the annual hot days from 1961–2020 was approximately 14.84 days per *** diurnal temperature range exhibited an increasing trend of 0.05℃per decade,whereas the number of cold days decreased by 1.06days per *** rapid increase in construction on Yongxing Island from 2005 to 2021 led to a decrease in observed surface wind speed by 0.32 m s^(-1)per ***,the number of days with strong winds decreased,whereas the number of days with weak winds ***,relative humidity exhibited a rapid decline from 2001 to 2016 and then *** study also found substantial differences between the ERA5 re-analysis and observation data,particularly in wind speed and relative humidity,indicating that the use of re-analysis data for climate resource assessment and climate change evaluation on island areas may not be feasible.

Background Chicken is one of the most numerous and widely distributed species around the world,and many studies support the multiple ancestral origins of domestic *** research regarding the yellow skin phenotype in domestic chickens(regulated by BCO2)likely originating from the grey junglefowl serves as crucial evidence for demonstrating the multiple origins of ***,beyond the BCO2 gene region,much remains unknown about the introgression from the grey junglefowl into domestic ***,in this study,based on wholegenome data of 149 samples including 4 species of wild junglefowls and 13 local domestic chicken breeds,we explored the introgression events from the grey junglefowl to domestic *** We successfully detected introgression regions besides BCO2,including two associated with growth trait(IGFBP2 and TKT),one associated with angiogenesis(TIMP3)and two members of the heat shock protein family(HSPB2 and CRYAB).Our findings suggest that the introgression from the grey junglefowl may impact the growth performance of ***,we revealed introgression events from grey junglefowl at the BCO2 region in multiple domestic chicken breeds,indicating a phenomenon where the yellow skin phenotype likely underwent strong selection and was ***,our haplotype analysis shed light on BCO2 introgression event from different sources of grey junglefowl into domestic chickens,possibly suggesting multiple genetic flows between the grey junglefowl and domestic *** In summary,our findings provide evidences of the grey junglefowl contributing to the genetic diversity of domestic chickens,laying the foundation for a deeper understanding of the genetic composition within domestic chickens,and offering new perspectives on the impact of introgression on domestic chickens.

Performance Design of High-Temperature Chloride Salts as Thermal Energy Storage Material

The chloride salts have great potential used as high-temperature thermal energy storage(TES) medium for the concentrated solar power *** this study,LiCl,KCl and CaCl_(2) were selected as energy storage materials in order to further broaden the working temperature of ternary chloride salt and improve its energy storage *** new high-temperature energy storage ternary chloride composed of LiCl,KCl,and CaCl_(2) was developed based on the phase diagram generated by *** components of LiCl-KCl-CaCl_(2) with the mass ratio of 37.85%-53.38%-8.77%,30.90%-13.82%-55.28% and 1.78%-18.61%-79.61% were developed,of which the corresponding melting temperature(T_(m)) 340.93,433.57 and 626.85℃,respectively,was obtained *** that T_(m) of the third group of salts was too high,only the first two groups of salts were *** test showed that the actual melting point was only 0.46% and 1.64% different from the melting point predicted by *** thermal properties of the two ternary chloride salts were also *** solid and liquid-specific heat of ternary salts was determined by DSC using sapphire as the standard *** vapor pressure and decomposition temperature of ternary chloride salts were *** results showed that the vapor pressure of salt 1 was almost constant below 650℃ by ***,the TG results showed that the upper working temperature of salt 1 was 650℃ under the air *** addition,the ternary chloride salts after short-term cycling still exhibited excellent thermal properties,which revealed that these good thermal properties make them have broad application prospects in high-temperature thermal energy storage systems.

The combination of the first-line standard chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin hydrochloride(DOX)and the molecular-targeted drug Herceptin(HCT)has emerged as a promising strategy for human epidermal growth receptor 2(HER-2)overexpressing breast cancer ***,insufficient drug accumulation and severe cardiotoxicity are two major challenges that limit its clinical ***,an in situ forming gold nanorods(AuNRs)-sodium alginate(ALG)hybrid hydrogel encapsulating DOX and HCT was engineered for tumor synergistic therapy involving injectable,dual-stimuli-responsive drug release,photothermal ablation,and drug-antibody synergistic *** photothermal agent AuNRs,anticancer drug DOX,and anticancer antibody HCT were mixed in ALG solution,and after injection,the soluble ALG was quickly transformed into a hydrogel in the presence of Ca^(2+)in the ***,the hybrid hydrogel exhibits an extremely high photothermal conversion efficiency of 70%under 808 nm laser *** thermal effect can also provide photothermal stimulation to trigger the drug release from the gel *** addition,the drug release rate and the releasing degree are also sensitive to the *** vitro studies demonstrated that the PEI-AuNR/DOX/HCT/ALG hydrogel has facilitated the therapeutic efficiency of each payload and demonstrated a strong synergistic killing effect on SK-BR-3 *** vivo imaging results showed that the local drug delivery system can effectively reduce the nonspecific distribution in normal tissues and increase drug concentration at tumor *** proposed hydrogel system shows significant clinical implications by easily introducing a sustainable photothermal therapy and a potential universal carrier for the local delivery of multiple drugs to overcome the challenges faced in HER-2 overexpressing cancer therapy.

To investigate the presence of metal elements and assess their health risk for the populace in the Nandong Underground River Basin(NURB),we conducted an analysis of eleven common heavy metals in the water body.A Health risk assessment(HRA)model was employed to analyze 84 water samples from the *** detection results revealed the following order of heavy metals concentrations:Fe>Al>Mn>Zn>As>Cd>Pb>Cr>Ni>Cu>*** analysis indicated a certain similarity in material source and migration transformation among these eleven metal *** study identified that the health risks for local residents exposed to metal elements in the water of NURB primarily stem from carcinogenic risk(10^(−6)–10^(−4)a^(−1))through the drinking water ***,the health risk of heavy metal exposure for children through drinking water was notably higher than for *** maximum health risks of Cr in both underground and surface water exceeded the recommendation standard(5.0×10^(−5)a^(−1))from ICRP,surpassing the values recommended by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency,the Dutch Ministry of construction and Environment and the British Royal Society(5.0×10^(−6)a^(−1)).The results of the health risk assessment indicate that Cr in the water of NURB is the primary source of carcinogenic risk for local residents,followed by Cd and ***,it is imperative to control these three carcinogenic metals when the water was used as drinking water resource.

In recent years,frequent fire disasters have led to enormous damage in *** firefighting rescues can minimize the losses caused by *** the rescue processes,the travel time of fire trucks can be severely affected by traffic conditions,changing the effective coverage of fire ***,it is still challenging to determine the effective coverage of fire stations considering dynamic traffic *** paper addresses this issue by combining the traveling time calculationmodelwith the effective coverage *** addition,it proposes a new index of total effective coverage area(TECA)based on the time-weighted average of the effective coverage area(ECA)to evaluate the urban fire *** also selects China as the case study to validate the feasibility of the models,a fire station(FS-JX)in ***-JX station and its surrounding 9,117 fire risk points are selected as the fire service supply and demand points,respectively.A total of 196 simulation scenarios throughout a consecutiveweek are ***,1,933,815 sets of valid sample data are *** results showed that the TECA of FS-JX is 3.27 km^(2),which is far below the standard requirement of 7.00 km^(2) due to the traffic *** visualization results showed that three rivers around FS-JX interrupt the continuity of its effective *** proposed method can provide data support to optimize the locations of fire stations by accurately and dynamically determining the effective coverage of fire stations.
