Perilipin-2 mediates ferroptosis in oligodendrocyte progenitor cells and myelin injury after ischemic stroke

Differentiation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells into mature myelin-forming oligodendrocytes contributes to *** of remyelination due to oligodendrocyte progenitor cell death can result in severe nerve *** is an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death caused by membrane rupture induced by lipid peroxidation,and plays an important role in the pathological process of ischemic ***,there are few studies on oligodendrocyte progenitor cell *** analyzed transcriptome sequencing data from GEO databases and identified a role of ferroptosis in oligodendrocyte progenitor cell death and myelin injury after cerebral *** analysis suggested that perilipin-2(PLIN2)was involved in oligodendrocyte progenitor cell ***2 is a lipid storage protein and a marker of hypoxia-sensitive lipid droplet *** further investigation,we established a mouse model of cerebral ischemia/*** found significant myelin damage after cerebral ischemia,as well as oligodendrocyte progenitor cell death and increased lipid peroxidation levels around the infarct *** ferroptosis inhibitor,ferrostatin-1,rescued oligodendrocyte progenitor cell death and subsequent myelin *** also found increased PLIN2 levels in the peri-infarct area that co-localized with oligodendrocyte progenitor ***2 knockdown rescued demyelination and improved neurological *** findings suggest that targeting PLIN2 to regulate oligodendrocyte progenitor cell ferroptosis may be a potential therapeutic strategy for rescuing myelin damage after cerebral ischemia.

Extensive use of avermectin(AVM)in agriculture can seriously contaminate fish in *** acid(FA)is a strong antioxidant sourced from plants and is widely applied in food and medicine,but its protective function on the immunological damage caused by AVM is still *** this study,carp were chronically exposed to(1/1096 hr LC_(50))AVM for 30 day(s),with a dietary supplement of FA(400 mg/kg)to assess its effects on carp *** experimental groups(n=10)included:control,AVM-exposed(2.404μg/L),FA+AVM co-treated,and FA ***-term AVM exposure altered spleen tissue,reducing serum complement C3(p<0.01)and immunoglobulin M levels(p<0.001),and increasing proinflammatory tnf-α(p<0.001),il-6(p<0.001),il-1β(p<0.001),and inos mRNA levels,whilst down-regulating the anti-inflammatory tgf-β(p<0.05).Additionally,it disrupted the balance of oxidative stress indicators such asMDA(p<0.001),T-AOC,GSH,and CAT,leading to spleen tissue apoptosis(42.4%).However,the addition of FA reversed these conditions,elevated the anti-inflammatory factor,and improved spleen immune function following chronic exposure to AVMin ***,the ability to restore oxidative homeostasis in carp by adjusting the Nrf2/NQO-1 axis protected the health of spleen *** discovery also supports the development of fish feed for aquaculture.

Statistical research on Megahertz-peaked Spectra Pulsars

Megahertz-peaked spectra(MPS) pulsars are referred as cases whose radio spectra turn over around 100 MHz. We identified 53 MPS pulsars based on the spectral data from the literature, and statistically analyzed the spatial location distribution, the magnetic field-period distribution, peak frequencies, spectral indices, and dispersion measures of these MPS pulsars. We found that there is a strong positive correlation between the dispersion measures and the peak frequencies of MPS pulsars, and negative correlations of the dispersion measures with spectral indices and the ages are also found. Such correlations suggest that the interstellar medium is an important factor that affects observational properties of MPS pulsars.

Selenate-based heterojunction with cobalt-nickel paired site for electrocatalytic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural coupling water splitting to produce hydrogen

It is very appealing that 5-hydroxymethylfurfural（HMF） is electrocatalytical oxidized as 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid（FDCA） linking to non-classical cathodic hydrogen（H2） ***,the electrocatalysts for electrocatalytic HMF oxidative reaction（e-HMFOR） have been facing low Faradaic efficiency（FE） and high water splitting ***,we propose a strategy of the NiSeO3@（CoSeO3）4heterojunction by constructing a Co-Ni paired site,where the Co site is in charge of adsorbing for HMF while the electrons are transferred to the Ni site,thus giving the NiSeO3@（CoSeO3）4heterojunction superior electrocata lytic performances for e-HMFOR and water *** optimizing conditions,the NiSeO3@（CoSeO3）4heterojunction has high conversion of 99.7%,high selectivity of 99.9%,and high FE of 98.4% at 1.3 V,as well as low cell voltage of 1.31 V at 10 mA cm-2in 1 M KOH+0.1 M *** study offers a potential insight for e-HMFOR to high value-added FDCA coupling water splitting to produce H2in an economical manner.

Multi-Stage Voltage Control Optimization Strategy for Distribution Networks Considering Active-Reactive Co-Regulation of Electric Vehicles

Energy management strategy that optimizes battery degradation for electric vehicles with hybrid energy storage system

The short life of electric vehicle(EV)batteries is an important factor limiting the popularization of EVs.A hybrid energy storage system(HESS)for EVs combines Li-ion batteries with supercapacitors,so that the supercapacitor shares the peak power during the starting and braking,effectively solving the problem of irreversible capacity degradation of Li-ion ***,an energy management strategy for HESS was designed based on battery degradation to extend the service life of the EV ***,to obtain accurate battery degradation characteristics,a cycling charge-discharge test was *** this test,the effects of discharge rate and state of charge on battery degradation rate were determined,and the battery degradation model was *** on the working map of the motor obtained through the bench test,a data-based model of the power system was constructed to accurately characterize the energy consumption of the EV under different operating ***,rule-based and optimization-based energy management strategies that consider battery degradation were designed using the fuzzy algorithm and dynamic programming(DP)*** effectiveness of the devised control strategies was assessed using the model-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test *** fuzzy control strategy had a simple structure and could be rapidly calculated but showed worse performance than the DP-based strategy in terms of battery *** DP-based energy management strategy resulted in 16.68% lower capacity degradation than the fuzzy strategy.

The circadian clock affects starvation resistance through the pentose phosphate pathway in silkworm,Bombyx mori
