The two three-dimensional oxo-bfidged lanthanides {[Ln2（C4H2O4）3（H20）4]· 3H2O}3, with Ln=Ho3＋（1）; Gd3＋（2）, are isomorphous. They have layer-type structures built up from non-centrosymrnetric dinuclear unit Ln2O12（H2O）4, beside three lattice H20 molecules stabilizing the 3D open-frmnework. The building entities are linked through one classical syn-anti g2-carboxylato-K1O：K^1O＇ bridge. Within the bi-polyhedra, two double μ2-O＇; K2O,O＇ bridges and a syn-syn classical one, support the magnetic measurements carried out on holmium compound indicating relatively weak anti-ferromagnetic interactions. The compari- son with magnetic studies on the almost similar reported Gd（III） compound, suggested that concomitant antiferromagnetic and ferro- magnetic properties could not be excluded. The two distinct thermal behaviors evidenced the higher metal-water bond strength with the smaller cation, and revealed the great supramolecular effects generated by hydrogen-bonding patterns.

The growth of environmental energy harvesting has been explosive in wireless computing systems especially when replacing or recharging batteries manually is *** work investigates the scheduling of periodic weekly hard real-time tasks under energy *** on this motivation,we proposed a real-time scheduling algorithm,namely energy guarantee dynamic voltage and frequency scaling(EG-DVFS),that utilizes the earliest deadline-harvesting(ED-H)scheduling algorithm combined with dynamic voltage and frequency *** one is qualified as real-time since tasks must satisfy their timing *** assume that the preemptable tasks receive dynamic priorities according to the earliest deadline first(EDF)***-DVFS adjusts the processor's behavior by characterizing the properties of the energy source module,capacity of the stored energy as well as the harvested energy in a future ***,tasks are executed at full processor speed if the amount of energy in the battery is enough to finish its ***,the processor slows down task execution to the lowest possible processor speed while still guaranteeing to meet all the timing ***-DVFS mainly depends on the on-line computation of the slack time and the slack energy with dynamic voltage and frequency selection in order to achieve an improved system *** results show that EG-DVFS can achieve capacity savings up of up to 33%when compared to ED-H.

In this work, a fast(0.5 h), green microwave-assisted synthesis of single crystalline Sb_2Se_3 nanowires was developed. For the first time we demonstrated a facile solvent-mediated process, whereby intriguing nanostructures including antimony selenide(Sb_2Se_3) nanowires and selenium(Se) microrods can be achieved by merely varying the volume ratio of ethylene glycol(EG) and H_2O free from expensive chemical and additional surfactant. The achieved uniform Sb_2Se_3 nanowire is single crystalline along [001]growth direction with a diameter of 100 nm and a length up to tens of micrometers. When evaluated as an anode of lithium-ion battery, Sb_2Se_3 nanowire can deliver a high reversible capacity of 650.2 m Ah g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) and a capacity retention of 63.8% after long-term 1000 cycles at 1000 mA g^(-1), as well as superior rate capability(389.5 m Ah g^(-1) at 2000 mA g^(-1)). This easy solvent-mediated microwave synthesis approach exhibits its great universe and importance towards the fabrication of high-performance metal chalcogenide electrode materials for future low-cost, large-scale energy storage systems.

Cadmium sulfide（Cd S） thin films have been prepared by a simple technique such as chemical bath deposition（CBD）. A set of samples Cd S were deposited on glass substrates by varying the bath temperature from 55 to 75 °C at fixed deposition time（25 min） in order to investigate the effect of deposition temperature on Cd S films physical properties. The determination of growth activation energy suggests that at low temperature Cd S film growth is governed by the release of Cd^（2＋） ions in the solution. The structural characterization indicated that the Cd S films structure is cubic or hexagonal with preferential orientation along the direction（111） or（002）, respectively. The optical characterization indicated that the films have a fairly high transparency, which varies between55% and 80% in the visible range of the optical spectrum, the refractive index varies from 1.85 to 2.5 and the optical gap value of which can reach 2.2 e V. It can be suggested that these properties make these films perfectly suitable for their use as window film in thin films based solar cells.

The housing sector today uses elaborate materials such as cement,iron,sand,often prohibitively expensive and whose production generates a strong environmental impact(scarcity of resources,transport,greenhouse gas greenhouse,etc.).In order to meet the challenges of sustainable development,earth construction is experiencing a resurgence of interest these *** its many advantages,raw earth material has drawbacks,in particular its low mechanical resistance and its loss of geometric characteristics in the face of water,which slow down its *** part of this study,the mechanical characteristics and durability of raw earth were improved by using residual water from the processing of Parkia Biglobosa(nere)and Vitellaria Paradoxa(shea)nuts in order to optimize its use for the construction of modern *** this end,the decoctions resulting from the artisanal transformation of the nut of the Parkia Biglobosa into African mustard and of the Vitellaria Paradoxa into shea butter were added to the raw earth according to volume proportions of 25%,50%,75%and 100%of the aqueous solution to obtain the projected ***,mechanical characterization and durability tests were carried out on the composites *** results revealed that the decoctions of Vitellaria Paradoxa and Parkia Biglobosa improve the compressive strength of the material by up to 90%and 260%,***,these decoctions improved the resistance to water penetration of the 100%additive composite by 1.5 times for Vitellaria Paradoxa and 5 times for Parkia *** study shows that it is possible to use decoctions as raw earth stabilizers to build modern,ecological buildings at lower energy ***,more in-depth studies on surface wettability and long-term durability are planned to better characterize the geomaterial.

We report the current-voltage （Ⅰ-Ⅴ） characteristics and electrical conductivity of individual template-synthesized poly（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene）（PEDOT） nanowires （190 ± 6 nm in diameter and δRT = 11.2 ± 2Ω^-1 cm^-1） over a wide temperature range from 300 to 10K. With lowering temperature, the Ⅰ - Ⅴ characteristics become nonlinear around 50K, and a clear Coulomb gap-like structure appears in the differential conductance （dI/dV） spectra. The temperature dependence of the resistance below 70 K follows In R α T^-1/2, which can be interpreted as Efros-Shklovskii hopping conduction in the presence of a Coulomb gap. In addition, the influences of measurement methods such as the applied bias voltage magnitude, the two-probe and four-probe techniques used in the resistance measurements are also reported and discussed.

Indices of Water Quality and Pesticide Monitoring Survey in Lake of Western Cote d’Ivoire and Its Human Risk Assessment

The aims of the work were to study the current quality of the water in Lake DOHOU used for drinking water supply through several physical, chemical analyses and using water quality indices (WQI). In addition, the question was whether the populations are at risk after drinking water of lake following a reduction of 50% and 75% in the median and maximum values of pesticides. Thus, the results of the pesticide monitoring program were incorporated into probabilistic human health risk assessment exercises. Water samples were collected over a period of one year. Pesticides were subjected to solid phase extraction and then analyzed using gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectroscopy. The other parameters were measured according to conventional methods. The results showed that the most frequently detected pesticides were aldicarb (79%), simazine (79%) and monolinuron (44%). They also showed the mean values of concentrations exceeding 1.5 μg/L. Metoxuron detected at a frequency of 29% showed the maximum average concentration (13.46 μg/L). Nearly 98% of the sampling points had at least one substance with an average concentration above the quality standard (0.1 μg/L) and 80% did not meet the total concentration standards. Cumulative risk quotient estimates after 50% or 75% abatement for frequently identified pesticides were greater than unity when extreme?values for adults and children were considered. To determine the suitability of water for aquatic life, drinking water consumption and drinking water production, the water quality index (WQI), the heavy metal pollution (HPI) and the heavy metal evaluation (HEI) were calculated. The poor quality of the water was mainly related to pesticides, organic matter and microbiological parameters. Most of the nutrients and metals studied were often below the standards of drinking water and aquatic life. Objectives: Garcinia kola seeds (EAgk) (Clusiaceae) contain coagulant components use to pretreat aquaculture wastewater in Nigeria. This work was undertaken to assess the effects of EAgk on blood coagulation because of its contents. Methods: Five groups of four rats of both sexes (200 ± 5 g) received orally distilled water, phytomenadione (15 mg/kg b.w.) and garcinia kola seeds extract (250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg b.w.) for four days and after this period, bleeding time was measured by tail hemorrhage model. Activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) and platelet count were determined by coagulometer and hematological analyzer respectively. Blood red cells protection of EAgk was measured by the methods of 2,2’-Azobis(2-methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride (AAPH)-induced hemolysis and inhibition of 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) radical and hydrogen peroxide. Results: EAgk at 1000 mg/kg b.w. induced a significant decrease in bleeding time from 420 ± 27.3 s to 157.5 ± 18.9 s. The platelet count of group of rat treated with EAgk (1000 mg/kg b.w.) increased significantly (p 0.05, n = 4). EAgk inhibited hemolysis, DPPH radical and hydrogen peroxide with IC50 values of 1.02 ± 0.2;3.2 × 10?2 ± 0.12 and 1.01 ± 0.5 mg/mg respectively. Conclusions: EAgk exhibits hemostatic effects, which could justify the presence of coagulant components in the extract. Erythrocytes’ protective activity of Garcinia kola seeds may be due to free radicals and hydrogen peroxide inhibition.
