The lifetime of Si-based environmental barrier coatings(EBCs)is constrained by thermally grown SiO_(2)oxidelayer(SiO_(2)-TGO),which can cause premature cracking and *** address this issue,a new approach for surfacemodification using aluminum is *** oxidation performance was examined in a 50 vol%H_(2)O-50 vol%O_(2)environment at 1350℃for up to 300 *** results indicate that a dense ytterbium aluminum garnet(YbAG)layer wasformed after modification,decreasing the porosity by 80%.Due to the elimination of fast diffusion channels and the lowoxygen permeability of YbAG,aluminum modification significantly reduced the growth rate of SiO_(2)-TGO by nearly twoorders of ***,its thickness decreased by more than 70%after 300 h of exposure.A diffusioncontrolled oxidation mechanism indicates that the modified dense surface is equivalent to an initial SiO_(2)layer with a specificthickness,causing a shift in the oxidation time and increasing the oxidation *** research provides valuableinsights for designing Si-based EBC with improved lifetimes.

The removal of As（III） and As（V） from aqueous solution was investigated using waste cast iron, which is a byproduct of the iron casting process in foundries. Two types of waste cast iron were used in the experiment： grind precipitate dust （GPD） and cast iron shot （CIS）. The X-ray diffraction analysis indicated the presence of Fe~ on GPD and CIS. Batch experiments were performed under different concentrations of As（III） and As（V） and at various initial pH levels. Results showed that waste cast iron was effective in the removal of arsenic. The adsorption isotherm study indicated that the Langmuir isotherm was better than the Freundlich isotherm at describing the experimental result. In the adsorption of both As（III） and As（V）, the adsorption capacity of GPD was greater than CIS, mainly due to the fact that GPD had higher surface area and weight percent of Fe than CIS. Results also indicated the removal of As（III） and As（V） by GPD and CIS was influenced by the initial solution pH, generally decreasing with increasing pH from 3.0 to 10.5. In addition, both GPD and CIS were more effective at the removal of As（III） than As（V） under given experimental conditions. This study demonstrates that waste cast iron has potential as a reactive material to treat wastewater and groundwater containing arsenic.

Background Median sternotomy is considered the most usually performed procedure in cardiac operations. This study aimed to assess clinical effectiveness of bilateral pectoralis major muscle flaps （BPMMF） for management of sternal osteomyelitis and mediastinal infection following median *** Clinical data were collected and retrospectively analyzed from twelve patients who underwent the BPMMF transposition for management of sternal osteomyelitis and mediastinal infection following median sternotomy from January 2006 to June 2009. Procedure consisted of rigorous debridement of necrotic tissues, dead space obliteration using the BPMMF, and placement of drainage tubes connected to a negative pressures generator for adequate *** No patients died of drainage, and all 12 patients had viable BPMMF when discharged from hospital. At 1 week post discharge, 2 patients presented with sternal infection but recovered following local debridement and medication. No patients showed infection recurrence during the follow-up period over 10 *** Sternal osteomyelitis and mediastinal infection following median sternotomy may be effectively managed through rigorous debridement of infected soft tissues, resection of the damaged stermal segment, transposition of the BPMMF to fill the damaged sternum resulting from debridement, and adequate postoperative drainage.

Multi-boiler System Optimization in Integrated Steelworks Based on Decomposition and Coordination Method

As for the existing problems of boilers in integrated steelworks, the multi-boiler system could be quantitatively optimized with the decomposition and coordination method. Then, case studies were carried out based on the data of an integrated steelworks. Two groups of actual production records were contrastively analyzed, and the calculation results from the optimized program of these two groups indicated that for groups 1 and 2, the costs fall by 5.06% and 3.79%and the fuel consumptions decrease by 2.72% and 1.45%, respectively, compared with the actual data. To analyze the cost and fuel consumption change under the same condition of total load demand, assigned fuel consumption and water temperature, five sets of data were selected for further analysis. It was shown that the total cost and fuel consumption of the optimized program could fall by 3.5% and 1.6% respectively, compared with the actual production records. The optimal allocation significantly contributed to energy conservation and cost reduction. The effects of the system energy conservation cannot be realized by single equipment energy conservation. They were complementary to each other, and should be put on the same stage.

Production optimization is of significance for carbonate reservoirs,directly affecting the sustainability and profitability of reservoir *** physics-based numerical simulations suffer from insufficient calculation accuracy and excessive time consumption when performing production *** establish an ensemble proxy-model-assisted optimization framework combining the Bayesian random forest(BRF)with the particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO).The BRF method is implemented to construct a proxy model of the injectioneproduction system that can accurately predict the dynamic parameters of producers based on injection data and production *** the help of proxy model,PSO is applied to search the optimal injection pattern integrating Pareto front *** experimental testing,the proxy model not only boasts higher prediction accuracy compared to deep learning,but it also requires 8 times less time for *** addition,the injection mode adjusted by the PSO algorithm can effectively reduce the gaseoil ratio and increase the oil production by more than 10% for carbonate *** proposed proxy-model-assisted optimization protocol brings new perspectives on the multi-objective optimization problems in the petroleum industry,which can provide more options for the project decision-makers to balance the oil production and the gaseoil ratio considering physical and operational constraints.

Inhibition of brass corrosion by sodium diethyldithiocarbamate（SDDTC） in 3%NaCl solutions was investigated by weight-loss method,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） and potentiodynamic polarization *** has an inhibitory effect on anodic dissolution of brass in 3%NaCl ***-loss studies showed that the optimum concentration of SDDTC was about 120 mg/*** EIS and polarization curves measurements revealed that there was a high inhibition efficiency at an optimum concentration and immersion *** first,the longer the electrodes immerged in the solution or the higher the concentration was,the higher the inhibition efficiency of the inhibitor ***,the inhibition efficiency decreased after 72 h or over 120 mg/L.

目的:在实际工程服役过程中,纤维增强塑料(FRP)约束混凝土柱在遭遇极限荷载前往往已经经历了长时间的轴压荷载作用。因此,相比其短期力学性能,本文旨在研究FPR约束混凝土柱在长期荷载作用后的力学性能。创新点:1.考虑长期轴压荷载作用,提出一种轴压作用下圆形截面FRP约束混凝土柱的长期变形分析模型;2.提出了长期轴压作用后的FRP约束混凝土本构模型,从本构关系的角度描述两个方面的影响机理。方法:运用混凝土和FRP徐变的长期变形分析迭代计算方法(图3)。结论:1.提出的长期变形分析模型实现了对FRP约束混凝土柱任意目标时刻的应力和应变状态的高效、准确预测;2.将提出的本构模型嵌入有限元软件中,有效地实现对长期轴压作用的考虑;3.基于Open Sees有限元软件,验证了长期变形分析模型和本构模型的有效性和准确性。
