A study of the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 MeV on the nuclei of oxygen,phosphorus,and sulfur was performed at the TANGRA facility at jinr(Dubna).The experiment aimed to refine existing data and obtain new data on the yields and angular distributions ofγ-quanta emitted by the studied nuclei due to neutron-induced nuclear reactions using the tagged neutron *** types of detector systems were used to registerγ-***γ-ray yields were measured using a high-purity germanium(HPGe)*** angular distributions ofγ-rays were obtained using a system of 18 scintillation detectors based on bismuth germanite Bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(BGO)located around the *** performed experiments measured the yields of two transitions for the reaction of tagged neutrons with 16O,nine transitions for the reaction with ^(31)P,and nine transitions for the reaction with ^(32)S for the first *** angular anisotropy of theγ-radiation accompanying the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 MeV on ^(31)P nuclei was also measured for the first time.

The yields of photonuclear reactions in the 107Ag,113In,and 115In nuclei were *** Carlo simulations were performed using the Geant4 code,and the results were compared with the experimental *** isomeric ratios of the yields in the reactions 107Ag(γ,n)106m,gAg and 113In(γ,m)112m,gIn were determined,and the cross sections for the reactions 107Ag(γ,n)106gAg and 107Ag(γ,2n)105Ag at an energy of 20 MeV were calculated based on the experimental data.

An experiment was conducted for studying the cluster structure of Be induced by He ions at an energy of 30 *** results of the nuclear reaction^(3)He+^(9)Be,the differential cross sections for the exit channels–elastic,inelastic,α+^(8)Be,^(6)He+^(6)Be,^(6)Li+^(6)Li,and^(7)Be+^(5)He–were *** and inelastic scattering data were treated within both the optical model and coupled channel method.A new set of optical potentials was considered for the elastic *** deformation parameter was established for the transition 3/2→5/*** transfer reactions were analyzed via the coupled reaction channel *** nuclear reactions with the exit channels^(6)He+^(6)Be,^(6)Li+^(6)Li,and^(7)Be+^(5)He were complemented by two-step transfer *** contribution of each reaction mechanism were shown and compared with the findings of other authors.

Nucleon scattering by the classical gravitational field is described by the gravitational （energy- momentum tensor） form factors （GFFs）, which also control the partition of nucleon spin between the total angular momenta of quarks and gluons. The equivalence principle （EP） for spin dynamics results in the identically zero anomalous gravitomagnetic moment, which is the straightforward analog of its electromagnetic counterpart. The extended EP （ExEP） describes its （approximate） validity separately for quarks and gluons and, in turn, results in equal partition of the momentum and total angular momentum. It is violated in quantum electrodynamics and perturbative quantum chromodynamics （QCD）, but may be restored in nonperturbative QCD because of confinement and spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, which is supported by models and lattice QCD calculations. It may, in principle, be checked by extracting the generalized parton distributions from hard exclu- sive processes. The EP for spin-1 hadrons is also manifested in inclusive processes （deep inelastic scattering and the Drell-Yan process） in sum rules for tensor structure functions and parton distributions. The ExEP may originate in either gravity-proof confinement or in the closeness of the GFF to its asymptotic values in relation to the mediocrity principle. The GFFs in time-like regions reveal some similarity between inflation and annihilation.

The unitary isobar model MAID2007 has been used to analyze the recent data of pion electroproduction. The model contains all four-star resonances in the region below W = 2 GeV and both single-Q2 and Q2 dependent transition form factors could be obtained for the Delta, Roper, D13（1520）, S11 （1535）, S31 （1620）, $11（1650）, D15（1675）, F15（1680） and P13（1720）. From the complete world data base, including also π data on the neutron, also Q2 dependent neutron form factors are obtained. For all transition form factors we also give convenient numerical parameterizations that can be used in other reactions. Furthermore, we show how the transition form factors can be used to obtain empirical transverse charge densities and our first results are given for the Roper, the S11 and D13 resonances.

Multinucleon transfer processes in low-energy heavy ion collisions open a new field of research in nuclear physics, namely, production and studying properties of heavy neutron rich nuclei. This not-yet-explored area of the nuclear map is extremely important for understanding the astrophysical nucleosynthesis and the origin of heavy elements. Beams of very heavy U-like ions are needed to produce new long-living isotopes of transfermium and superheavy elements located very close to the island of stability. The calculated cross sections are high enough to perform the experiments at available *** of medium-mass ions(such as136 Xe,192Os,198Pt) can be used for the production of neutron rich nuclei located along the neutron closed shell N = 126(the last waiting point) having the largest impact on the astrophysical r-process. The Low-energy multinucleon transfer reactions is a very efficient tool also for the production and spectroscopic study of light exotic nuclei. The corresponding cross sections are 2 or 3 orders of magnitude larger as compared with high energy fragmentation reactions.

A new compact version of the"liquid He-free"superconducting Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source,to be used as an injector for the U-400M cyclotron,is presently under construction at the FLNR in collaboration with LHE(jinr).The axial magnetic field of the source is created by the superconducting magnet,and the NdFeB hexapole is used for the radial plasma *** microwave frequency of 14GHz will be used for ECR plasma *** DECRIS-SC2 superconducting magnet is designed for the induction of a magnetic field on the axis of the source of up to 1.4T(extraction side)and 1.9T(injection side) at nominal current of *** of the coils is carried out by CM cryocooler with cooling power of 1W at the temperature *** basic design features of the superconducting magnet and of the ion source are *** main parts of the source are in *** first beam test of the source is expected in the beginning of 2007.

Toward a description of the centrality dependence of the charge balance function in the HYDJET++model

Data from the Large Hadron Collider on the charge balance function in Pb+Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy 2.76 TeV per nucleon pair are analyzed and interpreted within the framework of the HYDJET++*** model allows us to qualitatively reproduce the experimentally observed centrality dependence of the balance function widths at relatively low transverse momentum intervals due to the different charge creation mechanisms in soft and hard ***,a fully adequate description of the balance function in these intervals implies an essential modification of the model by including exact charge conservation via the canonical rather than the grand canonical ensemble.A procedure is proposed for introducing charge correlations into the thermal model without changing other model *** increasing transverse momenta,the default model results describe the exper-imental data much better because the contribution of the soft component of the model is significantly reduced in these transverse momentum *** practical terms,there is a transition to a single source of charge correlations,namely,charge correlations in jets in which exact charge conservation holds at each stage.

The ECR ion source DECRIS-4 has been designed and constructed at the FLNR jinr to be used as a second injector of heavy multiply charged ions for the U-400 *** design of the magnetic structure of the source was based on the idea of the so-called"magnetic plateau".The axial magnetic field is formed by three independent solenoids enclosed in separated iron *** a result the superposition of the coils and hexapole magnetic fields creates the enlarged resonance *** first experiments showed that the source was able to produce more than 300eμA of Ar8+ when only 100W of microwave power was used. During the last experiment almost 500eμA of Ar8+ was extracted with the same *** this paper we will present the preliminary results with other gaseous ions,such as oxygen,krypton and xenon.
