Assessment of rehabilitation strategies for lakes affected by anthropogenic and climatic changes: A case study of the Urmia Lake, Iran

Opinion consensus incorporating higher-order interactions in individual-collective networks

In the current information society, the dissemination mechanisms and evolution laws of individual or collective opinions and their behaviors are the research hot topics in the field of opinion dynamics. First, in this paper, a two-layer network consisting of an individual-opinion layer and a collective-opinion layer is constructed, and a dissemination model of opinions incorporating higher-order interactions(i.e. OIHOI dissemination model) is proposed. Furthermore, the dynamic equations of opinion dissemination for both individuals and groups are presented. Using Lyapunov's first method,two equilibrium points, including the negative consensus point and positive consensus point, and the dynamic equations obtained for opinion dissemination, are analyzed theoretically. In addition, for individual opinions and collective opinions,some conditions for reaching negative consensus and positive consensus as well as the theoretical expression for the dissemination threshold are put forward. Numerical simulations are carried to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results, as well as the influence of the intra-structure, inter-connections, and higher-order interactions on the dissemination and evolution of individual opinions. The main results are as follows.(i) When the intra-structure of the collective-opinion layer meets certain characteristics, then a negative or positive consensus is easier to reach for individuals.(ii) Both negative consensus and positive consensus perform best in mixed type of inter-connections in the two-layer network.(iii) Higher-order interactions can quickly eliminate differences in individual opinions, thereby enabling individuals to reach consensus faster.

Global systematic review and meta-analysis of knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards dengue fever among the general population

Objective:To determine the global level of knowledge,attitudes,and practices towards dengue fever among the general ***:To complete this systematic review and meta-analysis,a thorough search for pertinent English-language literature was undertaken during the study's extension until October *** search used Google Scholar,Scopus,PubMed/MEDLINE,science Direct,Web of science,EMBASE,Springer,and ProQuest.A quality assessment checklist developed using a modified Newcastle-Ottawa Scale for the cross-sectional study was used to evaluate the risk of bias in the included *** variance and Cochran Q statistics were employed in the STATA software version 14 to assess study *** there was heterogeneity,the Dersimonian and Liard random-effects models were ***:59 Studies totaling 87353 participants were included in this *** investigations included 86278 participants in 55 studies on knowledge,20196 in 33 studies on attitudes,and 74881 in 29 studies on *** pooled estimates for sufficient knowledge,positive attitudes,and dengue fever preventive behaviors among the general population were determined as 40.1%(95%CI 33.8%-46.5%),46.8%(95%CI 35.8%-58.9%),and 38.3%(95%CI 28.4%-48.2%),*** exhibits the highest knowledge level at 63.5%,and Africa shows the lowest at 20.3%.Positive attitudes are most prevalent in the Eastern Mediterranean(54.1%)and Southeast Asia(53.6%),contrasting sharply with the Americas,where attitudes are notably lower at 9.05%.Regarding preventive behaviors,the Americas demonstrate a prevalence of 12.1%,Southeast Asia at 28.1%,Western Pacific at 49.6%,Eastern Mediterranean at 44.8%,and Africa at 47.4%.Conclusions:Regional disparities about the knowledge,attitude and preventive bahaviors are evident with Europe exhibiting the highest knowledge level while Africa has the *** findings emphasize the importance of targeted public health interventions tailored to regional

An accurate assessment of the evacuation efficiency in case of disasters is of vital importance to the safety design of buildings and street *** sources not only physically but psychologically affect the pedestrians,which may further alter their behavioral *** effect is especially significant in narrow spaces,such as corridors and *** study aims to integrate a non-spreading hazard source into the social force model following the results from a previous experiment and simulation,and to simulate unidirectional pedestrian flows over various crowd densities and clarity–intensity properties of the hazard *** integration include a virtual repulsion force from the hazard source and a decay on the social force *** simulations reveal(i)that the hazard source creates virtual bottlenecks that suppress the flow,(ii)that the inter-pedestrian push forms a stabilisation phase on the flow-density curve within medium-to-high densities,and(iii)that the pedestrians are prone to a less orderly and stable pattern of movement in low clarity–intensity scenarios,possibly with lateral collisions passing the hazard source.

research on fires at the wildland-urban inter-face(WUI)has generated significant insights and advance-ments across various fields of ***,agri-culture,and social sciences have played prominent roles in understanding the impacts of fires in the environment,in protecting communities,and addressing management *** study aimed to create a database using a text mining technique for global researchers interested in WUI-projects and highlighting the interest of countries in this ***’s-Keywords analysis emphasized the dominance of fire science-related terms,especially related to WUI,and identified keyword clusters related to the WUI fire-risk-assessment-system-“exposure”,“danger”,and“vulnerability”within wildfire *** over the past decade showcase shifting research interests with a growing focus on WUI fires,while regional variations highlighted that the“exposure”keyword cluster received greater atten-tion in the southern Europe and South ***,vulnerability keywords have relatively a lower representation across all *** analysis underscores the interdisci-plinary nature of WUI research and emphasizes the need for targeted approaches to address the unique challenges of the wildland-urban ***,this study provides valu-able insights for researchers and serves as a foundation for further collaboration in this field through the understanding of the trends over recent years and in different regions.

Reconciling the tasks of producing adequate amounts of nutritious food for the increasing global population while preserving the environment and natural ecosystems simultaneously is an enormous challenge. The concept of agriculture green development(AGD) and the necessary governmental policies were developed to address the aforementioned challenge in China and to help achieve the related global sustainable development goals. Agriculture green development emphasizes the synergy between green and development;current agriculture has to transform from the intensive farming with high inputs, high environmental impacts and low resource-use efficiency to a more sustainable agriculture, in order to ensure an adequate supply of nutritious food while delivering environmental integrity, improved economic profitability,and social equity. A research program on AGD was established by China Agricultural university with four research themes, namely: green crop production, green integrated crop-animal production, green food and industry,and green ecological environment and ecosystem services, to provide a scientific basis for future developments and to facilitate the implementation of AGD in practice. AGD requires a multistakeholder approach, fueled by innovative and interdisciplinary research. Joint actions have to be taken by governments, farmers, supply industries, consumers, educators, extension services and researchers to support AGD. This requires strong coordination and public awareness campaigns. This review presents the progress that has been made over the past 5 years and makes recommendations for more research and development, in order to better deliver agricultural green and sustainable development on national and international scales.

Maclaurin Symmetric Mean Aggregation Operators and Their Application to Hesitant Q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making

The Maclaurin symmetric mean(MSM) operator exhibits a desirable characteristic by effectively capturing the correlations among multiple input parameters, and it serves as an extension of certain existing aggregation operators through adjustments to the parameter k. The hesitant q-rung orthopair set(Hq-ROFSs) can serve as an extension of the existing orthopair fuzzy sets, which provides decision makers more freedom in describing their true opinions. The objective of this paper is to present an MSM operator to aggregate hesitant q-rung orthopair numbers and solve the multiple attribute decision making(MADM) problems in which the attribute values take the form of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets(H-qROFSs). Firstly, the definition of H-qROFSs and some operational laws of H-qROFSs are proposed. Then we develop a family of hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy maclaurin symmetric mean aggregation operators, such as the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFWMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy dual maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFDMSM) operator, the hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted dual maclaurin symmetric mean(Hq-ROFWDMSM) operator. And the properties and special cases of these proposed operators are studied. Furthermore, an approach based on the Hq-ROFWMSM operator is proposed for multiple attribute decision making problems under hesitant q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment. Finally,a numerical example and comparative analysis is given to illustrate the application of the proposed approach.
