To reduce complexity, the combat effectiveness simulation system(CESS) is often decomposed into static structure,physical behavior, and cognitive behavior, and model abstraction is layered onto domain invariant knowledge(DIK) and application variant knowledge(AVK) levels. This study concentrates on the specification of CESS’s physical behaviors at the DIK level of abstraction, and proposes a model driven framework for efficiently developing simulation models within model-driven engineering(MDE). Technically, this framework integrates the four-layer metamodeling architecture and a set of model transformation techniques with the objective of reducing model heterogeneity and enhancing model continuity. As a proof of concept, a torpedo example is illustrated to explain how physical models are developed following the proposed framework. Finally, a combat scenario is constructed to demonstrate the availability, and a further verification is shown by a reasonable agreement between simulation results and field observations.

This paper proposes an adaptive method based on fuzzy logic that utilizes data from phasor measurement units(PMUs) to assess and classify generating-side voltage trajectories. The voltage variable and its associated derivatives are used as the input variables of a fuzzy-logic block. In addition, the voltage trajectory is compared with the pre-selected pilot-bus voltage to make a reliable decision about the voltage operational state. Different types of short-term voltage dynamics are considered in the proposed method. The fuzzy membership functions are determined using a systematic method that considers the current situation of the voltage trajectory. Finally, the voltage status is categorized into four classes to determine appropriate remedial actions. The proposed method is validated on a IEEE 73-bus power system in a MATlab environment.

The phenomenon of spontaneous particle percolation under gravity is investigated by means of the discrete element method. Percolation behaviors such as percolation velocity, residence time distribution and radial dispersion are examined under various conditions. It is shown that the vertical velocity of a percolating particle moving down through a packing of larger particles decreases with increasing the restitution coefficient between particles and diameter ratio of the percolating to packing particles. With the increase of the restitution coefficient, the residence time and radial dispersion of the percolating particles increase. The packing height affects the residence time and radial dispersion. But, the effect can be eliminated in the analysis of the residence time and radial dispersion when they are normalized by the average residence time and the product of the packing height and packing particle diameter, respectively. In addition, the percolation velocity is shown to be related to the vertical acceleration of the percolating particle when an extra constant vertical force is applied. Increasing the feeding rate of percolating particles decreases the dispersion coefficient.

By using the sparsity of frequency hopping（FH） signals,an underdetermined blind source separation（UBSS） algorithm is presented. Firstly, the short time Fourier transform（STFT） is performed on the mixed signals. Then, the mixing matrix, hopping frequencies, hopping instants and the hooping rate can be estimated by the K-means clustering algorithm. With the estimated mixing matrix, the directions of arrival（DOA） of source signals can be obtained. Then, the FH signals are sorted and the FH pattern is obtained. Finally, the shortest path algorithm is adopted to recover the time domain signals. simulation results show that the correlation coefficient between the estimated FH signal and the source signal is above 0.9 when the signal-to-noise ratio（SNR） is higher than 0 d B and hopping parameters of multiple FH signals in the synchronous orthogonal FH network can be accurately estimated and sorted under the underdetermined conditions.

In this paper, we study the problem of resource allocation in small cell networks with distributed caching, that is, how to divide the spectrum resources for backhaul and access in order to improve network performance. We formulate our concerned problem by using multi-dimensional Markov model. Our problem considers that each user may access multiple small cell base stations. We conduct simulation experiments to evaluate the performance of our proposed resource allocation scheme. Our simulation results show that the appropriate spectrum resource allocation is important to improve network performance.

基于Eulerian-Eulerian方法,阐述了简化枝晶状等轴晶、柱状晶以及金属液三相完全混合的凝固模型.模型考虑了等轴晶的移动及柱状晶对等轴晶的捕获,跟踪了柱状晶尖端的位置并考虑了等轴晶和柱状晶的相互竞争生长,因此该模型具备了预测柱状晶向等轴晶转变(CET)的能力;为了在不过量增加计算量的前提下提高模型的精度,模型对等轴晶采取了简单的枝晶化处理,即采用简化方法描述等轴晶包络线内固相分数.分别模拟了3.25和25 t钢锭的凝固过程,成功预测了大型钢锭凝固过程所形成的底部锥形负偏析、"类-A型"偏析以及CET等现象.分析认为长细形状铸锭中出现的顶部负偏析区,是由于凝固后期所形成的局部小钢锭及等轴晶在其内部的沉积聚集而成.
