Camera- card method is a classical image input method in Internet- based telerobotic control system. However, there are some disadvantages like high- cost and complicated application in the classical *** on TWAIN criterion, a new single USB camera method is proposed in this paper. This method has been implemented by VC++ to drive universal digital image devices like USB camera. Compared to the camera- card method, the proposed method has a lower cost and a more flexible structure in applica- tions such as Internet- based telerobotic control system.

The behavior of quantum cellular automata （QCA） under the influence of a stray charge is quantified. A new time-independent switching paradigm, a probability model of the double-dot system, is developed. Superiority in releasing the calculation operation is presented by the probability model compared to previous stray charge analysis utilizing ICHA or full-basis calculation. Simulation results illustrate that there is a 186-nm-wide region surrounding a QCA wire where a stray charge will cause the target cell to switch unsuccessfully. The failure is exhibited by two new states＇ dominating the target cell. Therefore, a bistable saturation model is no longer applicable for stray charge analysis.

The perceiving local site effects on strong ground motion are particularly important for the mitigation of earthquake disasters as well as future earthquake resistant design. The primary objective of this study is to investigate seismic behavior of building tube structure system with respect to dense soil-structure interaction (sand dense and very hard clay soil with a thickness greater than 30 m). For this purpose, the studied building in this paper is placed over two other different modeled soil types and results of seismic behavior of building for three soil types are compared with each other. Through response spectrum analyses, influence of different sub-soils (dense and loose soil) was determined on seismic behavior of 40-storey building reinforced concrete (RC) with tube in tube structure system and performance of each model was assessed in terms of shear lag behavior, overall and critical (maximum) story drifts. Results illustrate that loose soils amplify seismic waves and increase building drifts and shear lag behavior.

The evidence here provided shows that the thermodynamics of the second law, as currently understood, originated in a correction of the flaws affecting Clausius original work on this matter. The body of knowledge emerging from this correction has been here called post-Clausius’ thermodynamics. The said corrections, carried on with the intended goal of preserving the validity of Clausius’ main result, namely the law of increasing entropy, made use of a number of counterintuitive or logically at fault notions. A joint revision of Clausius’ and post-Clausius’ work on the second law, carried on retaining some of Clausius original notions, and disregarding others introduced by post-Clausius thermodynamics, led this author to results in direct contradiction to the law of increasing entropy. Among the key results coming out of this work we find the one stating that the total-entropy change for spontaneous thermodynamic processes is the result of the summation of the opposite-sign contributions coming from the entropic (energy degrading) and negentropic (energy upgrading) changes subsumed by any such process. These results also show, via the total-entropy change for a non-reversible heat engine, that negentropic thermodynamics subsumes post-Clausius thermodynamics as a special case.

This article gives a mathematical analysis of involute gear periodical errors. The conclusions reached are as follows:(1) Even when the absolute values of the positive and negative base pitch errors of the same gear are equal, the periodical errors are unequal. And the periodical errors vary in degree with the modifications of the modulus and tooth number of the gear.(2) The gear periodical errors are not found through a single harmonic. Fourier’s progression proves that such errors are found through several harmonics.(3) The maximum harmonic errors do not exceed 6.14% of the total value of the periodical errors when taken at four harmonics. And calculations are also made on the transmission coefficients and circuits of a 3-set "Γ" type RC *** upon such calculations, we have manufactured an HYQO2A single flank meshing instrument, and the total error curves obtained from the said instrument are found to be the same with those obtained from a high precision gear measuring instrument.

In this paper, the starting point comprises the general philosophy of sexuality. Despite certain differences in various cultures throughout the world and social history regarding all matters of sexuality, many converging principles of mankind are also there to take notice. In this light, in this work, the dimension of criminality in sexuality is taken into consideration. Rape seems to be the most common type of violent sexual crime. The topic of sexual offences （milder crimes） in the legal framework is further developed and debated, with references to figures of authority. Sexual harassment seems to be the mildest form or degree of offence on a scale depicting the spectrum of sexual crimes. As a matter of fact, its mere definition emerged only in contemporary times, even though its presence had been a fact of social life, throughout the ages. In this paper, while a general survey is preferred, peculiarities due to Turkey as a separate country with its own cultural history, are also alluded to inappropriate places, along the course of debates.

It is very difficult to determine the sample containing more than two components which can interfere their quantitative analysis each other. The common method sometimes were limited because of waste of time and consumption of the expensive organic solvents. Our experiment dealt with the quantitative analysis of caffeine in the blood poisoned by tablet of Naoqing using the two-wavelength method on the first derivative spectra,which was proved to be easy and accurate. The linearity, at 282 nm and 254 nm, between the different concentrations of caffeine and their values of first derivative is satisfactory, r=0.9999. The average recovery of caffeine in blood was 99.2±0.33% (α=0.05),CV%=0.27). Using this method the one of the component in the blood poisoned by any compound tablets can be determined qauntitatively without separation.
