X/γ-rays have many potential applications in laboratory astrophysics and particle *** several methods have been proposed for generating electron,positron,and X/γ-photon beams with angular momentum(AM),the generation of ultra-intense brilliant γ-rays is still ***,we present an all-optical scheme to generate a high-energy γ-photon beam with large beam angular momentum(BAM),small divergence,and high *** the first stage,a circularly polarized laser pulse with intensity of 10^(22) W/cm^(2) irradiates a micro-channel target,drags out electrons from the channel wall,and accelerates them to high energies via the longitudinal electric *** the process,the laser transfers its spin angular momentum(SAM)to the electrons’orbital angular momentum(OAM).In the second stage,the drive pulse is reflected by the attached fan-foil and a vortex laser pulse is thus *** the third stage,the energetic electrons collide head-on with the reflected vortex pulse and transfer their AM to the γ-photons via nonlinear Compton ***-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations show that the peak brilliance of the γ-ray beam is∼10^(22) photons·s^(-1)·mm^(-2)·mrad^(-2) per 0.1% bandwidth at 1 MeV with a peak instantaneous power of 25 TW and averaged BAM of 10^(6)h/*** AM conversion efficiency from laser to the γ-photons is unprecedentedly 0.67%.

In this paper, artificial neural networks are used for predicting single fiber efficiency in the process of removing smaller particles from gas stream by fiber filters. For this, numerical simulations are obtained of a classic model of literature for fiber efficiency, which is numerically solved along with the convection diffusion equation in polar coordinates for particle concentration, with associated initial and boundary conditions. A sufficient number of examples from two numerical simulations are employed to construct a database, from which parameters of a novel neural model are adjusted. This model is constructed based on the back propagation algorithm in order to map two features, namely Peclet number and packing density, which are extracted from the numerical simulations into the corresponding single fiber efficiency. The results indicate that the developed neural model can be trained in a reasonable computational time and is capable of estimating single fiber efficiency from examples of the test set with a maximum error of 1.7%.

Aimed at the current treatment status of the polymer-flooding wastewater in Bohai oilfield, electrochemical technology used for polymer-degradation and oil-removal was researched. It formed the process flow of cyclone mixed dosing → electrochemical removal oil → inclined tube removal oil → walnut shell filter, and a set of skid mounted wastewater containing polymer treatment plant was designed and manufactured, which was used for the field test of electrochemical treatment of wastewater containing polymer in offshore oilfield. The result shows that the oil removal rate of the electrochemical treatment process is over 98%, and the synergistic effect is significant especially used in conjunction with water clarifier of BHQ-04. When the amount of water clarifier is 50 - 150 mg/L, the oil content, the median particle diameter and the suspended solids content of the filtered water is 8 - 18 mg/L, 1.9 - 2.26 μm and 1.39 - 2.04 mg/L respectively, which reach the scene water quality standards for water injection.

Aiming at the effective realization of particle filter for maneuvering target tracking in multi-sensor measurements,a novel multi-sensor multiple model particle filtering algorithm with correlated noises is *** with the kinetic evolution equation of target state,a multi-sensor multiple model particle filter is firstly constructed,which is also used as the basic framework of a new *** the new algorithm,in order to weaken the adverse influence from random measurement noises in the measuring process of particle weight,a weight optimization strategy is introduced to improve the reliability and stability of particle *** addition,considering the correlated noise existing in the practical engineering,a decoupling method of correlated noise is given by the rearrangement and transformation of the state transition equation and measurement *** the weight optimization strategy and noise decoupling method adopt respectively the center fusion structure and the off-line way,it improves the adverse effect effectively on computational complexity for increasing state dimension and sensor ***,the theoretical analysis and experimental results show the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

particle technology, developed for the production and processing of all kinds of granular materials and powders, has been a pillar for a wide range of industries even in the pre-industrial era, and has experienced rapid expanding and upgrading in recent years together with other modern technologies. It covers not only traditional areas such as mining, fuel and energy, chemical engineering, agriculture and food processing, but also pharmaceutics, cosmetics and nano-materials. In fact, particle technology is dealing with the second largest quantity of materials in all industries, only after water, and approximately 10% of the energy consumption worldwide is related to the processing of particulate materials. In addition, almost half products and 3/4 feed stocks in chemical engineering are in the form of grains or powders.

The energy consumption of train operation occupies a large proportion of the total consumption of railway *** order to improve the oper-ating energy utilization rate of trains,a multi-objective particle swarm optimiza-tion(MPSO)algorithm with energy consumption,punctuality and parking accuracy as the objective and safety as the constraint is *** accelerate its the convergence process,the train operation progression is divided into several modes according to the train speed-distance curve.A human-computer interactive particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed,which presents the optimized results after a certain number of iterations to the decision maker,and the satisfac-tory outcomes can be obtained after a limited number of *** multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MPSO)algorithm is used to optimize the train operation *** algorithm based on the important relationship between the objective and the preference information of the given reference points is sug-gested to overcome the shortcomings of the existing *** methods signiﬁcantly increase the computational complexity and convergence of the *** adaptive fuzzy logic system that can simultaneously utilize experience information andﬁeld data information is proposed to adjust the consequences of off-line optimization in real time,thereby eliminating the inﬂuence of uncertainty on train *** optimization and adjustment,the whole running time has been increased by 0.5 s,the energy consumption has been reduced by 12%,the parking accuracy has been increased by 8%,and the comprehensive performance has been enhanced.

Manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))with different crystal structures has been widely investigated as the cathode material for Zn-ion batteries,among which spinelλ-MnO_(2)is yet rarely reported because Zn-ion intercalation in spinel lattice is speculated to be limited by the narrow three-dimensional *** this work,we demonstrate that Zn-ion insertion in spinel lattice can be enhanced by reducing particle size and elucidate an intriguing electrochemical reaction mechanism dependent on particle ***,λ-MnO_(2)nanoparticles(NPs,~80 nm)deliver a high capacity of 250 mAh/g at 20 mA/g due to large surface area and solid-solution type phase transition ***,severe water-induced Mn dissolution leads to the poor cycling stability of *** contrast,micron-sizedλ-MnO_(2)particles(MPs,~0.9μm)unexpectedly undergo an activation process with the capacity continuously increasing over the first 50 cycles,which can be attributed to the formation of amorphous MnOx nanosheets in the open interstitial space of the MP *** adding MnSO_(4)to the electrolyte,Mn dissolution can be suppressed,leading to significant improvement in the cycling performance of NPs,with a capacity of 115 mAh/g retained at 1 A/g for over 500 *** work pinpoints the distinctive impacts of the particle size on the reaction mechanism and cathode performance in aqueous Zn-ion batteries.

Suction boxes are used in the paper industry to simultaneously drain a pulp suspension and form a fibre mat （or filter cake）. This research addresses the modelling of fibre deposition in the forming unit of an industrial papermachine, assuming a filtration process, and that of the flowing suspension drained through the building fibre mat and the wire on a suction box. From experimental data of the cumulative drained V volume, per unit surface area, for two vacuum pressures △P and 6 dwell times t, an extension of the classical law （t/V） versus V is proposed, validated and applied. This relation enables determining the average specific filtration resistance of the fibre mat over the box and the mass of solids deposited before and over the suction box. The model obtained is as precise as 1% and can be used to limit and reduce the energy consumption of drainage vacuum assisted devices such as suction boxes in the forming unit of industrial papermachines.
