Multi-Stage-Based Siamese Neural Network for Seal Image Recognition

Seal authentication is an important task for verifying the authenticity of stamped seals used in various domains to protect legal documents from tampering and *** seal inspection is commonly audited manually to ensure document ***,manual assessment of seal images is tedious and laborintensive due to human errors,inconsistent placement,and completeness of the *** image recognition systems are inadequate enough to identify seal types accurately,necessitating a neural network-based method for seal image ***,neural network-based classification algorithms,such as Residual Networks(ResNet)andVisualGeometryGroup with 16 layers(VGG16)yield suboptimal recognition rates on stamp ***,the fixed training data categories make handling new categories to be a challenging *** paper proposes amulti-stage seal recognition algorithmbased on Siamese network to overcome these ***,the seal image is pre-processed by applying an image rotation correction module based on Histogram of Oriented Gradients(HOG).Secondly,the similarity between input seal image pairs is measured by utilizing a similarity comparison module based on the Siamese ***,we compare the results with the pre-stored standard seal template images in the database to obtain the seal *** evaluate the performance of the proposed method,we further create a new seal image dataset that contains two subsets with 210,000 valid labeled pairs in *** proposed work has a practical significance in industries where automatic seal authentication is essential as in legal,financial,and governmental sectors,where automatic seal recognition can enhance document security and streamline validation ***,the experimental results show that the proposed multi-stage method for seal image recognition outperforms state-of-the-art methods on the two established datasets.

A nonlocal Burgers equation in atmospheric dynamical system and its exact solutions

From a two-vortex interaction model in atmospheric and oceanic systems, a nonlocal counterpart with shifted parity and delayed time reversal is derived by a simple AB reduction. To obtain some approximate analytic solutions of this nonlocal system, the multi-scale expansion method is applied to get an AB-Burgers system. Various exact solutions of the AB-Burgers equation, including elliptic periodic waves, kink waves and solitary waves, are obtained and shown *** show the applications of these solutions in describing correlated events, a simple approximate solution for the two-vortex interaction model is given to show two correlated dipole blocking events at two different places. Furthermore, symmetry reduction solutions of the nonlocal AB-Burgers equation are also given by using the standard Lie symmetry method.

Residual symmetry, CRE integrability and interaction solutions of two higher-dimensional shallow water wave equations

Two(3+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equations are studied by using residual symmetry and the consistent Riccati expansion(CRE) method. Through localization of residual symmetries, symmetry reduction solutions of the two equations are obtained. The CRE method is applied to the two equations to obtain new B?cklund transformations from which a type of interesting interaction solution between solitons and periodic waves is generated.

A nonlocal Boussinesq equation:Multiple-soliton solutions and symmetry analysis

A nonlocal Boussinesq equation is deduced from the local one by using consistent correlated bang *** study various exact solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation,it is converted into two local equations which contain the local Boussinesq *** the N-soliton solutions of the local Boussinesq equation,the N-soliton solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are obtained,among which the(N=2,3,4)-soliton solutions are analyzed with *** periodic and traveling solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are derived directly from the known solutions of the local Boussinesq *** reduction solutions of the nonlocal Boussinesq equation are also obtained by using the classical Lie symmetry method.

Multiple soliton solutions and symmetry analysis of a nonlocal coupled KP system

A nonlocal coupled Kadomtsev–Petviashivili(ncKP) system with shifted parity(P_(s)^(x)) and delayed time reversal(T_(d)) symmetries is generated from the local coupled Kadomtsev–Petviashivili(cKP) system. By introducing new dependent variables which have determined parities under the action of P_(s)^(x)T_(d)^(d), the ncKP is transformed to a local system. Through this way, multiple even number of soliton solutions of the ncKPI system are generated from N-soliton solutions of the c KP system, which become breathers by choosing appropriate parameters. The standard Lie symmetry method is also applied on the ncKPII system to get its symmetry reduction solutions.

Residual Symmetry Reduction and Consistent Riccati Expansion of the Generalized Kaup-Kupershmidt Equation

The residual symmetry of the generalized Kaup-Kupershmidt （KKK） equation is obtained from the truncated Painleve expansion and localized to a Lie point symmetry in a prolonged system. New symmetry reduction solutions of the prolonged system are given by using the standard Lie symmetry method. Frthermore, the gKK equation is proved to integrable in the sense of owning consistent Riecati expansion and some new Bgcklund transformations are given based on this property, from which interaction solutions between soliton and periodic waves are given.

Metal-organic frameworks incorporated with C3N4:A visible light enhanced platform for degradation of polybromodiphenyl ethers

A series of nano-photocatalysts metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)/graphitic carbon nitride(CN)(named MOFCN-x) with high activity have been synthesized by in-situ growth *** visible light irradiation, MOFCN-x hybrids show enhanced photocatalytic activity for the debromination of polybromodiphenyl ethers(PBDEs) compared with CN. Among all the hybrids, MOFCN-2 shows the highest reaction rate, which is 3.3 times as high as that in CN. MOFCN-x photocatalysts own stable visible light activity after recycled experiment. It indicates that a moderate amount of MOFs in MOFCN-x can largely enhance the photocatalytic ability by improved visible light absorption, larger specific surface area and better photo-generated charge carriers separation and transfer capabilities. More interestingly,the debromination pathway of PBDEs by MOFCN-x shows obvious selectivity compared with pure CN that bromines at meta-positions are much more susceptible than those at the paraand ortho-positions. The possible photoreductive mechanism has been proposed. This study shows that nanocomposite MOFCN can be an excellent candidate for dealing with halogen pollutants by solar-driven.

Explicit solutions from residual symmetry of the Boussinesq equation

The Bcklund transformation related symmetry is nonlocal, which is hard to be applied in constructing solutions for nonlinear equations. In this paper, the residual symmetry of the Boussinesq equation is localized to Lie point symmetry by introducing multiple new variables. By applying the general Lie point method, two main results are obtained： a new type of Backlund transformation is derived, from which new solutions can be generated from old ones; the similarity reduction solutions as well as corresponding reduction equations are found. The localization procedure provides an effective way to investigate interaction solutions between nonlinear waves and solitons.

Period-Doubling Cascades and Strange Attractors in Extended Duffing-Van der Pol Oscillator

The dynamical behavior of the extended Duffing-Van der Pol oscillator is investigated numerically in detail. With the aid of some numerical simulation tools such as bifurcation diagrams and Poinearé maps, the different routes to chaos and various shapes of strange attractors are observed. To characterize chaotic behavior of this oscillator system, the spectrum of Lyapunov exponent and Lyapunov dimension are also employed.

New solutions from nonlocal symmetry of the generalized fifth order KdV equation

The nonlocal symmetry of the generalized fifth order KdV equation(FOKdV) is first obtained by using the related Lax pair and then localizing it in a new enlarged system by introducing some new variables. On this basis, new Ba¨cklund transformation is obtained through Lie’s first theorem. Furthermore, the general form of Lie point symmetry for the enlarged FOKdV system is found and new interaction solutions for the generalized FOKdV equation are explored by using a symmetry reduction method.
