Ethylene thiourea(ETU)converted from ethylene bisdithiocarbamate(EBDC)fungicides has aroused great concern because of its prevalence and harmful *** ETU-induced neurotoxicity has been reported,the potential mechanisms remain *** study provided insights into its neurotoxic effects at environmentally relevant concentrations in *** findings showed that embryonic exposure to ETU decreased the hatch rate and delayed somite ***,ETU treatment significantly reduced the dark velocity in the locomotion *** upregulated tendency of the mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPK)pathway(mknk1,atf4,mapkapk3)screened by transcriptome analysis implied motor neuron degeneration,which was validated by subsequent morphological observation,as axon length and branches were truncated in the 62.5μg/L ETU ***,although the rescue experiment with a p38 MAPK inhibitor(SB203580)successfully ameliorated axon degeneration,it failed to reverse the locomotion *** exploration of transcriptome data revealed the varied expression of presynaptic scaffold protein-related genes(pcloa,pclob,bsna),whose downregulation might impair the neuromuscular junction(NMJ).Therefore,we reasonably suspected that ETU-induced neurobehavioral deficits might result from the combined effects of the MAPK pathway and presynaptic *** this,we highlighted the necessity to take precautions and early interventions for susceptible ETU-exposed populations.

Denoising(DN) and demosaicing(DM) are the first crucial stages in the image signal processing pipeline. Recently, researches pay more attention to solve DN and DM in a joint manner, which is an extremely undetermined inverse problem. Existing deep learning methods learn the desired prior on synthetic dataset, which limits the generalization of learned network to the real world data. Moreover, existing methods mainly focus on the raw data property of high green information sampling rate for DM, but occasionally exploit the high intensity and signalto-noise(SNR) of green channel. In this work, a deep guided attention network(DGAN) is presented for real image joint DN and DM(JDD), which considers both high SNR and high sampling rate of green information for DN and DM, respectively. To ease the training and fully exploit the data property of green channel, we first train DN and DM sub-networks sequentially and then learn them jointly, which can alleviate the error accumulation. Besides, in order to support the real image JDD, we collect paired raw clean RGB and noisy mosaic images to conduct a realistic dataset. The experimental results on real JDD dataset show the presented approach performs better than the state-of-the-art methods, in terms of both quantitative metrics and qualitative visualization.

Sodium alginate(SA)/chitosan(CH)polyelectrolyte scaffold is a suitable substrate for tissue-engineering *** present study deals with further improvement in the tensile strength and biological properties of this type of scaffold to make it a potential template for bone-tissue *** experimented with adding 0%–15%(volume fraction)gelatin(GE),a protein-based biopolymer known to promote cell adhesion,proliferation,and *** resulting tri-polymer complex was used as bioink to fabricate SA/CH/GEmatrices by three-dimensional(3D)*** studies using scanning electron microscopy revealed the microfibrous porous architecture of all the structures,which had a pore size range of 383–419μm.X-ray diffraction and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analyses revealed the amorphous nature of the scaffold and the strong electrostatic interactions among the functional groups of the polymers,thereby forming polyelectrolyte complexes which were found to improve mechanical properties and structural *** scaffolds exhibited a desirable degradation rate,controlled swelling,and hydrophilic characteristics which are favorable for bone-tissue *** tensile strength improved from(386±15)to(693±15)kPa due to the increased stiffness of SA/CH scaffolds upon addition of *** enhanced protein adsorption and in vitro bioactivity(forming an apatite layer)confirmed the ability of the SA/CH/GE scaffold to offer higher cellular adhesion and a bone-like environment to cells during the process of tissue *** vitro biological evaluation including the MTT assay,confocal microscopy analysis,and alizarin red S assay showed a significant increase in cell attachment,cell viability,and cell proliferation,which further improved biomineralization over the scaffold *** addition,SA/CH containing 15%gelatin designated as SA/CH/GE15 showed superior performance to the other fabricated 3D structures,demonstrating its pote

Full conversion of glucose and xylose from lignocellulosic hydrolysates is required for obtaining a high ethanol ***,glucose and xylose share flux in the pentose phosphate pathway(PPP)and glycolysis pathway(EMP),with glucose having a competitive advantage in the shared metabolic *** this work,we knocked down ZWF1 to preclude glucose from entering the *** reduced the[NADPH]level and disturbed growth on both glucose or xylose,confirming that the oxidative PPP,which begins with Zwf1p and ultimately leads to CO_(2) production,is the primary source of NADPH in both glucose and *** glucose depletion,gluconeogenesis is necessary to generate glucose-6-phosphate,the substrate of *** re-established the NADPH regeneration pathway by replacing the endogenous NAD^(+)-dependent glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH)gene TDH3 with heterogenous NADP^(+)-GAPDH genes GDH,gapB,and *** the resulting strains,the strain BZP1(zwf1Δ,tdh3::GDP1)exhibited a similar xylose consumption rate before glucose depletion,but a 1.6-fold increased xylose consumption rate following glucose depletion compared to the original strain BSGX001,and the ethanol yield for total consumed sugars of BZP1 was 13.5%higher than *** suggested that using the EMP instead of PPP to generate NADPH reduces the wasteful metabolic cycle and excess CO_(2)^(++) release from oxidative ***,we used a copper-repressing promoter to modulate the expression of ZWF1 and optimize the timing of turning off the ZWF1,therefore,to determine the competitive equilibrium between glucose-xylose *** strategy allowed fast growth in the early stage of fermentation and low waste in the following stages of fermentation.

Tactile sensing provides robots the ability of object recognition,fine operation,natural interaction,***,in the actual scenario,robotic tactile recognition of similar objects still faces difficulties such as low efficiency and accuracy,resulting from a lack of high-performance sensors and intelligent recognition *** this paper,a flexible sensor combining a pyramidal microstructure with a gradient conformal ionic gel coating was demonstrated,exhibiting excellent signal-to-noise ratio(48 dB),low detection limit(1 Pa),high sensitivity(92.96 kPa^(-1)),fast response time(55 ms),and outstanding stability over 15,000 compression-release ***,a Pressure-Slip Dual-Branch Convolutional Neural Network(PSNet)architecture was proposed to separately extract hardness and texture features and perform feature *** tactile experiments on different kinds of leaves,a recognition rate of 97.16%was achieved,and surpassed that of human hands recognition(72.5%).These researches showed the great potential in a broad application in bionic robots,intelligent prostheses,and precise human–computer interaction.

The ever-growing energy demand and environmental issues have stimulated the development of sustainable energy ***,an efficient and environmentally friendly electrochemical transformation technology was proposed to prepare highly graphitized carbon materials from an abundant natural resource-lignin （LG）.The preparation process mainly includes pyrolytic carbonization of raw LG material and electrochemical conversion of amorphous carbon ***,with the assistance of Co catalyst,the graphitization degree of the products was significantly improved,in which the mechanism was the removal of heteroatoms in LG and the rearrangement of carbon atoms into graphite ***,tunable microstructures （nanoflakes） under catalytic effects could also be observed by controlling the electrolytic *** with the products CN1 （without catalyst） and CN5 （with 10%catalyst）,the specific surface area are 158.957 and202.246 m2g-1,*** used as the electrode material for lithium-ion batteries,CN5 delivered a competitive specific capacity of～350 m Ah g-1（0.5 C） compared with commercial *** strategy proposed in this work provides an effective way to extract value-added graphite materials from lignin and can be extended to the graphitization conversion of any other amorphous carbon precursor materials.

Double-sided microlens arrays(DSMLAs)include combinations of two single-sided MLAs to overcome positioning errors and greatly improve light transmissivity compared to other types of *** glass molding(PGM)is used to fabricate DSMLAs,but controlling alignment errors during this process is *** this paper,a mold assembly was manufactured with a novel combination of materials to improve the alignment accuracy of mold cores during PGM by using the nonlinear thermal expansion characteristics of the various materials to improve the DSMLA alignment *** establishing a mathematical model of the DSMLA alignment error and a thermal expansion model of the mold-sleeve pair,the relationship between the maximum alignment error of the DSMLA and the mold-sleeve gap was *** research provides a method to optimize the mold-sleeve gap and minimize the alignment error of the *** measured DSMLA alignment error was 10.56μm,which is similar to the predicted maximum alignment *** measurements showed that the uniformity of the homogenized beam spot was 97.81%,and the effective homogeneous area accounted for 91.66%of the total *** proposed method provides a novel strategy to improve the performance of DSMLAs.
