A Fibonacci View on the Galois NFSR Used in Trivium

Trivium is an international standard of lightweight stream ciphers(ISO/IEC 29192-3:2012).In this paper,the Trivium-like NFSRs,a class of Galois NFSRs generalized from the Galois NFSR of Trivium,are studied from the perspective of Fibonacci *** is shown that an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR cannot be equivalent to an n-stage Fibonacci NFSR,which is proved by showing the existence of“collision initial states”.As an intermediate conclusion,a necessary and sufficient condition for a kind of linear degeneracy of a Trivium-like NFSR is obtained from the persepective of interleaved ***,the smallest stage number of a Fibonacci NFSR that can generate all the output sequences of an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR is shown to be greater than n-7 and this value is no less than 371=287+min{93,84,111}specifically for the 288-stage Galois NFSR used in *** results contradict the existence of a equivalent Fibonacci model of Trivium NFSR of small stage,which implies that Trivium algorithm possesses a fair degree of immunity against“structure attack”.

Deoxys-BC is the primitive tweakable block cipher of the Deoxys family of authenticated encryption *** on existing related-tweakey boomerang distinguishers,this paper improves the boomerang attacks on 11-round Deoxys-BC-256 and 13-round Deoxys-BC-384 by the optimized key guessing and the precomputation *** transfers a part of subtweakey guess in the key-recovery phase to the precomputation resulting in a significant reduction of the overall time *** 11-round Deoxys-BC-256,we give a related-tweakey boomerang attack with time/data/memory complexities of 2218.6/2125.7/2125.7,and give another attack with the less time complexity of2215.8and memory complexity of 2120 when the adversary has access to the full *** 13-round Deoxys-BC-384,we give a related-tweakey boomerang attack with time/dat a/memory complexities of 2k-96+2157.5/2120.4/*** the key size k=256,it reduces the time complexity by a factor of 231compared with the previous 13-round boomerang *** addition,we present two new related-tweakey boomerang distinguishers on 11-round Deoxys-BC-384 with the same probability as the best previous distinguisher.

Multi-stream signals separation based on space-time-isomeric (SPATIO) array using metasurface antennas

In spatial domain signal processing, it is necessary to equip more antennas at the receiver to improve spatial demultiplexing capability. However, increasing the number of antennas under restricted space will reduce antenna spacing and raise the channel correlation, making the number of signal streams spatially demultiplexed much smaller than that of antennas. This paper proposes a method to design a space-timeisomeric(SPATIO) array based on metasurface antennas under wireless multipath conditions. Each antenna in this array has a different pattern and varies independently with time, reducing the channel correlation by superposing multipath at distinct positions and moments. Based on the SPATIO array, we present an array parameter design scheme based on infinity norm minimization, which can maximize the received energy of each stream while separating multi-stream received signals. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the SPATIO array for multi-stream signal reception. Compared with conventional multiple-input multipleoutput arrays, the proposed array can reduce the bit error rate by one order of magnitude under the same simulation conditions.

Nano-computed tomography(Nano-CT)is an emerging,high-resolution imaging ***,due to their low-light properties,tabletop Nano-CT has to be scanned under long exposure conditions,which the scanning process is *** 3D reconstruction data,this paper proposed a lightweight 3D noise reduction method for desktop-level Nano-CT called AAD-ResNet(Axial Attention DeNoise ResNet).The network is framed by theU-net *** encoder and decoder are incorporated with the proposed 3D axial attention mechanism and residual dense *** layer of the residual dense block can directly access the features of the previous layer,which reduces the redundancy of parameters and improves the efficiency of network *** 3D axial attention mechanism enhances the correlation between 3D information in the training process and captures the long-distance *** can improve the noise reduction effect and avoid the loss of image structure *** results show that the network can effectively improve the image quality of a 0.1-s exposure scan to a level close to a 3-s exposure,significantly shortening the sample scanning time.

A Lattice-Based Method for Recovering the Unknown Parameters of Truncated Multiple Recursive Generators with Constant

Multiple recursive generators with constant, the high-order extension of linear congruence generators,are an important class of pseudorandom number generators that are widely used in cryptography. The predictability of truncated sequences output by multiple recursive generators with constant that predicting the whole sequences by the truncated high-order bits of the sequences is a cryptographically crucial problem. This paper studies the predictability of truncated multiple recursive generators with constant. Given a few truncated digits of high-order bits output by a multiple recursive generator with constant, we first convert the multiple recursive generator with constant to multiple recursive generator and then adopt the method we proposed recently to recover the modulus, the coefficients,and the differences of initial state. In particular, we give an estimation of the number of truncated digits required for recovering the differences of initial state by using the expected norm of target vector. We prove by exponential sums that the number of truncated digits required for uniquely determining both the initial state and the constant is finite and give an upper bound. Extensive experiments confirm the correctness of our method.

Time-Sensitive Network(TSN) with deterministic transmission capability is increasingly used in many emerging fields. It mainly guarantees the Quality of Service(QoS) of applications with strict requirements on time and security. One of the core features of TSN is traffic scheduling with bounded low delay in the network. However, traffic scheduling schemes in TSN are usually synthesized offline and lack dynamism. To implement incremental scheduling of newly arrived traffic in TSN, we propose a Dynamic Response Incremental Scheduling(DR-IS)method for time-sensitive traffic and deploy it on a software-defined time-sensitive network *** the premise of meeting the traffic scheduling requirements, we adopt two modes, traffic shift and traffic exchange, to dynamically adjust the time slot injection position of the traffic in the original scheme,and determine the sending offset time of the new timesensitive traffic to minimize the global traffic transmission jitter. The evaluation results show that DRIS method can effectively control the large increase of traffic transmission jitter in incremental scheduling without affecting the transmission delay, thus realizing the dynamic incremental scheduling of time-sensitive traffic in TSN.

The question of whether an ideal network exists with global scalability in its full life cycle has always been a first-principles problem in the research of network systems and *** far,it has not been possible to scientifically practice the design criteria of an ideal network in a unimorphic network system,making it difficult to adapt to known services with clear application scenarios while supporting the ever-growing future services with unexpected ***,we theoretically prove that no unimorphic network system can simultaneously meet the scalability requirement in a full cycle in three dimensions—the service-level agreement(S),multiplexity(M),and variousness(V)—which we name as the“impossible SMV triangle”*** is only by transforming the current network development paradigm that the contradiction between global scalability and a unified network infrastructure can be resolved from the perspectives of thinking,methodology,and practice *** this paper,we propose a theoretical framework called the polymorphic network environment(PNE),the first principle of which is to separate or decouple application network systems from the infrastructure environment and,under the given resource conditions,use core technologies such as the elementization of network baselines,the dynamic aggregation of resources,and collaborative software and hardware arrangements to generate the capability of the“network of networks.”This makes it possible to construct an ideal network system that is designed for change and capable of symbiosis and coexistence with the generative network morpha in the spatiotemporal *** environment test for principle verification shows that the generated representative application network modalities can not only coexist without mutual influence but also independently match well-defined multimedia services or custom services under the constraints of technical and economic indicators.

The realistic security of quantum key distribution(QKD) systems is currently a hot research topic in the field of quantum communications. There are always defects in practical devices, and eavesdroppers can make use of the security risk points of various devices to obtain key information. To date, current types of security analysis tend to analyze each security risk point individually, thereby posing great challenges for the overall security evaluation of QKD systems. In this paper, for the first time, we employ machine learning algorithms to identify the defects of different devices and certain attacks in real time, with an accuracy of 98%. It provides a novel solution for the practical security evaluation of QKD systems, thereby addressing the bottleneck problem of multiple risk points being difficult to address simultaneously in QKD systems,thus paving the way for the future large-scale application of quantum communication networks.
