Higher-order properties and extensions for indirect MRAC and APPC of linear systems

Recently, a reference derived some new higher-order output tracking properties for direct model reference adaptive control(MRAC) of linear time-invariant(LTI) systems: limt→∞ e~((i))(t) = 0, i = 1,..., n~*-1, where n~* and e~((i))(t) denote the relative degree of the system and the i-th derivative of the output tracking error, respectively. However, a naturally arising question involves whether indirect adaptive control(including indirect MRAC and indirect adaptive pole placement control) of LTI systems still has higher-order tracking properties. Such properties have not been reported in the literature. Therefore, this paper provides an affirmative answer to this question. Such higher-order tracking properties are new discoveries since they hold without any additional design conditions and, in particular, without the persistent excitation condition. Given the higher-order properties, a new adaptive control system is developed with stronger tracking features.(1) It can track a reference signal with any order derivatives being unknown.(2) It has higher-order exponential or practical output tracking properties.(3) Finally, it is different from the usual MRAC system, whose reference signal’s derivatives up to the n~* order are assumed to be known. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to verify the theoretical results obtained in this paper.

The metabolic state of a cell is closely related to its structure and function in adult mammalian cardiomyocytes. These adult cardiomyocytes primarily use fatty acids as an energy substrate to support heart contraction. Recently, Li and his colleagues reported that inhibiting fatty acid oxidation in cardiomyocytes keeps them in an immature state. This influences epigenomic modifications and ultimately increases the proliferation capacity of the *** failure, caused by excessive loss of beating cardiomyocytes, is one of the leading causes of death worldwide [1]. Numerous stem cell studies have attempted to identify a source of new cardiomyocytes in adult mammals. However, the results predominantly suggest that there are no cardiac stem cells available to replenish the loss of cardiomyocytes following heart failure [2]. The proliferative capacity of mammalian cardiomyocytes rapidly declines after birth, reaching a very low level in adulthood [3,4]. Adult cardiomyocytes lack sufficient proliferative capacity to compensate for the loss of cardiomyocytes after cardiac injury, which results in scar tissue formation.

Two-dimensional investigation of characteristic parameters and their gradients for the self-generated electric and magnetic fields of laser-induced zirconium plasma

Two-dimensional diagnosis of laser-induced zirconium(Zr)plasma has been experimentally performed using the time-of-flight method by employing Faraday cups in addition to electric and magnetic *** characteristic parameters of laser-induced Zr plasma have been evaluated as a function of different laser irradiances ranging from 4.5 to 11.7 GW cm-2 at different axial positions of 1–4 cm with a fixed radial distance of 2 cm.A well-supporting correlation between the plume parameters and the laser-plasma-produced spontaneous electric and magnetic(E and B)fields was *** measurements of the characteristic parameters and spontaneously induced fields were observed to have an increasing trend with the increasing laser ***,when increasing the spatial distance in both the axial and radial directions,the plasma parameters(electron/ion number density,temperature and kinetic energy)did not show either continuously increasing or decreasing trends due to various kinetic and dynamic processes during the spatial evolution of the ***,the E and B fields were observed to be always diffusing away from the *** radial component of electron number densities remained higher than the axial number density component,whereas the axial ion number density at all laser irradiances and axial distances remained higher than the radial ion number *** higher axial self-generated electric field(SGEF)values than radial SGEF values are correlated with the effective charge-separation mechanism of electrons and *** generation of a self-generated magnetic field is observed dominantly in the radial direction at increasing laser irradiance as compared to the axial one due to the deflection of fast-moving electrons and the persistence of two-electron temperature on the radial axis.

Angular effects in digital off-axis holography

The relationship between the off-axis angle of the recording setup and the quality of reconstructed particle images in digital off-axis holography is studied. The interference patterns of the same particles in the same plane are recorded at different off-axis angles in horizontal and vertical directions. By means of numerical wave propagation, the particle images are reconstructed so as to evaluate and compare their quality by the numbers of particles picked out and by the signal-to-noise ratio （SNR）. The results provide useful information about the relationship between the off-axis angle and the quality of the reconstructed image.

Rastall gravity:accretion disk image in the context of radiation fields and visual transformations compared to Reissner-Nordström black hole

In this study,we investigated the astronomical implications of Rastall gravity,particularly its behavior amidst a radiation field compared to Reissner-Nordström(RN)black *** found a crucial correlation between the dynamics of the accretion disk and the parameters Q and Nr,which properly reflect the influence of spacetime metrics on the disk’s *** electric charge Q causes contraction in the disk’s orbit due to enhanced gravitational effects,while higher Nr values lead to outward expansion,influenced by the attributes of the radiation ***,the charged black holes surrounded by radiation fields exhibit distinct visual disparities from RN black *** decreases and expansion occurs within the innermost stable circular orbit of the accretion disk with rising Nr *** study also reveals the process by which the accretion disk transitions from a conventional disk-like structure to a hat-like form at different observation angles,with the redshift effect gradually ***,the results of the considered Rastall gravity radiation field are consistent with the constraints of the gravitational lensing of the host galaxy on Rastall gravity parameters,thereby enhancing the consistency between theoretical predictions and actual observations.

In this paper, we explore the electrical characteristics of high-electron-mobility transistors(HEMTs) using a TaN/AlGaN/GaN metal insulating semiconductor(MIS) structure. The high-resistance tantalum nitride(TaN) film prepared by magnetron sputtering as the gate dielectric layer of the device achieved an effective reduction of electronic states at the TaN/AlGaN interface, and reducing the gate leakage current of the MIS HEMT, its performance was enhanced. The HEMT exhibited a low gate leakage current of 2.15 × 10^(-7) mA/mm and a breakdown voltage of 1180 V. Furthermore, the MIS HEMT displayed exceptional operational stability during dynamic tests, with dynamic resistance remaining only 1.39 times even under 400 V stress.

Study the Effect of Thickness on the Performance of PM6:Y6 Organic Solar Using SCAPS Simulation

In this study, organic solar cells (OSCs) with an active layer, a blend of polymer of non-fullerene (NFA) Y6 as an acceptor, and donor PBDB-T-2F as donor were simulated through the one-dimensional solar capacitance simulator (SCAPS-1D) software to examine the performance of this type of organic polymer thin-film solar cell by varying the thickness of the active layer. PFN-Br interfacial layer entrenched in OPV devices gives overall enhanced open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density and fill factor thus improving device performance. PEDOT: PSS is an electro-conductive polymer solution that has been extensively utilized in solar cell devices as a hole transport layer (HTL) due to its strong hole affinity, good thermal and mechanical stability, high work function, and high transparency in the visible range. The structure of the organic solar cell is ITO/PEDOT: PSS/BTP-4F: PBDB-T-2F/PFN-Br/Ag. Firstly, the active layer thickness was optimized to 100 nm;after that, the active-layer thickness was varied up to 900 nm. The results of these simulations demonstrated that the active layer thickness improves efficiency significantly up to 500 nm, then it decreased with increasing the thickness of the active layer from 600 nm, also notice that the short circuit current and the fill factor decrease with increasing the active layer from 600 nm, while the open voltage circuit increased with increasing the thickness of the active layer. The optimum thickness is 500 nm.

Drought weakens the positive effect of plant diversity on community biomass

Drought can greatly impact the biodiversity of an ecosystem and play a crucial role in regulating its ***,the specific mechanisms by which drought mediate the biodiversity effect(BE)on community biomass in above-and belowground through functional traits remain poorly ***,we conducted a common garden experiment in a greenhouse,which included two plant species richness levels and two water addition levels,to analyze the effects of biodiversity on aboveground biomass(AGB),belowground biomass(BGB)and total biomass(TB),and to quantify the relationship between BEs and functional traits under drought *** analysis focused on partitioning BEs into above-and belowground complementarity effect(CE)and selection effect(SE)at the species level,which allowed us to better understand the impacts of biodiversity on community biomass and the underlying *** results showed that plant species richness stimulated AGB,BGB and TB through *** decreased AGB,BGB and TB,*** addition,the aboveground CE was positively associated with the variation in plant *** in above-and belowground were negatively correlated with the community mean plant height and root length,***,drought weakened the aboveground CE by decreasing variation in plant height,resulting in a reduction in AGB and *** findings demonstrate that the complementarity of species is an important regulator of community biomass in above-and belowground,the dynamics of biomass under environmental stress are associated with the response of sensitive compartments.

Punicalagin prevents obesity-related cardiac dysfunction through promoting DNA demethylation in mice

The aim of this study was to investigate whether punicalagin(PU)could prevent obesity-related cardiac dysfunction by promoting DNA demethy lation,and to explore its possible mechanism.C57BL/6J mice were fed with standard diet,high-fat diet(HFD),HFD supplemented with resveratrol,low-dose PU(LPU)and high-dose PU(HPU)for 8 *** with HFD group,body weight was significantly lower in PU treatment groups,number of cardionwocytes and the protein level of myosin heavy chain 7B were significantly higher in PU treatment *** of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine and 5-formylcytosine were significantly lower in HFD group than in other *** with the HFD group,the protein level of ten-eleven translocation enzyme(TET)2 was significantly higher in PU treatment groups,p-AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)was significantly higher in LPU *** of total antioxidant capacity and the protein levels of complexesⅡ/Ⅲ/Ⅴ,oxoglutarate dehydrogenase,succinate dehydrogenase B and fumarate hdrolase were significantly lower in HFD group than PU treatment *** ratio of(succinic acid+fumaric acid)/a-ketoglutarate was significantly higher in HFD group than other *** conclusion,PU up-regulated TETs enzyme activities and TET2 protein stability through alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction and activating AMPK,so as to promote DNA demethylation,thus preventing obesity-related cardiac dysfunction.

Developing a biomaterial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were embedded in cast films based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated films including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on most of the surface of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.
