Tetrandrine is an alkaloid with a remarkable pharmacological profile that we previous reported causes hepatotoxicity through mitochondrial ***,we demonstrate that cytochrome P450(CYP450) plays an important role in mitochondrial dysfunction induced by the administration of *** over production of reactive oxygen species(ROS) and the depletion of reduced glutathione were both induced by *** multiple ROS inhibitors that we tested,only inhibitors of CYP450(SKF-525A and others) reduced the ROS level and ameliorated the depletion of *** microscopy showed the onset of the mitochondrial permeability transition(MPT) after tetrandrine treatment,that could be inhibited by SKF-525A and a ROS scavenger(vitamin c,Vc).SKF-525A also recovered decreased ATP levels and the depletion of mitochondrial membrane potential induced by *** results suggest that MPT plays a critical role in tetrandrine-induced mitochondrial dysfunction and that ROS generated by CYP450 contribute to the MPT induced by tetrandrine.

The proton-irradiated 308L stainless steel weld metal was strained by using constant extension rate tensile testing in simulated PWR primary water, and its deformation microstructures and irradiation assisted stress corrosion cracking(IASCC) behavior were investigated. The results suggest that the irradiation significantly increases the SCC susceptibility of 308L weld metal and causes various deformation microstructures including lathy faulted planes, dislocation channels and deformation twins in austenite and atomic plane rotation in δ-ferrite. The propagation of intergranular IASCC cracks is closely related to the location of the crack tip. For the crack tip in the specimen matrix interior, localized deformation is likely the key factor responsible for the crack growth. For the crack tip close to the specimen surface, however, localized corrosion along the grain boundary rather than the localized deformation appears to dominate the crack propagation. Unlike the intergranular cracks, the IASCC cracks along the δ-ferrite/austenite phase boundary can initiate either by crack initiation at the phase boundary or by crack propagation from the grain boundary. In both cases, the cracked phase boundaries contain a large number of carbides and are severely corroded, but no deformation microstructures are observed, which implies that the localized corrosion may play an important role in the IASCC along the phase boundary. In addition, δ-ferrite can retard the IASCC crack propagation along the grain boundary, which is probably related to the reduction of localized deformation by δ-ferrite.

Chlamys farreri is an economically important mollusk that can accumulate excessive amounts of cadmium(Cd). Studying the molecular mechanism of Cd accumulation in bivalves is difficult because of the lack of genome background. Transcriptomic analysis based on high-throughput RNA sequencing has been shown to be an efficient and powerful method for the discovery of relevant genes in non-model and genome reference-free organisms. Here, we constructed two c DNA libraries(control and Cd exposure groups) from the digestive gland of C. farreri and compared the transcriptomic data between them. A total of 227 673 transcripts were assembled into 105 071 unigenes, most of which shared high similarity with sequences in the NCBI non-redundant protein database. For functional classification, 24 493 unigenes were assigned to Gene Ontology terms. Additionally, Eu Karyotic Ortholog Groups and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses assigned 12 028 unigenes to 26 categories and 7 849 unigenes to five pathways, respectively. Comparative transcriptomics analysis identified 3 800 unigenes that were differentially expressed in the Cd-treated group compared with the control group. Among them, genes associated with heavy metal accumulation were screened, including metallothionein, divalent metal transporter, and metal tolerance protein. The functional genes and predicted pathways identified in our study will contribute to a better understanding of the metabolic and immune system in the digestive gland of C. farreri. In addition, the transcriptomic data will provide a comprehensive resource that may contribute to the understanding of molecular mechanisms that respond to marine pollutants in bivalves.

The influence of temperature on the corrosion behavior of Alloy 690 is evaluated using potentiodynamic polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectra （EIS）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, X- ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The corrosion rate of Alloy 690 reaches a local maximum at 250℃. The kinetic control step of the growth of oxide film changes from the diffusion process of aqueous-phase ions to the growth of Cr-rich barrier layer in the temperature range of 200-300 ℃. A modified double-layer model is proposed to describe the effect of temperature on the structure and composition of the oxide film.

Aluminum and ferric salts are commonly used in municipal wastewater treatment plants（WWPTs） for phosphorus（P） removal. In this study, on-site jar tests were conducted to determine the removal of different P species from the fresh samples in the presence and absence of activated sludge（AS） with different doses of alum, poly-aluminum chloride,and ferric chloride at different p H. The soluble P（SP） concentration in the samples was about 0.63 mg/L. When the mixed liquor containing AS was treated with 8 mg/L of Al, SP could be reduced to 0.13 mg/L, while it was reduced to 0.16 mg/L with only 1 mg/L of Al after sedimentation removal of AS from sample. Chemical analysis determined that AS contained 59.8 mg-P/g-TSS and 43.8 mg-Al/g-TSS and most of the P was associated with the aluminum hydroxide. We discovered that the phosphate in the AS could readily be released from it, which was mainly responsible for ineffective removal of P to low levels in mixed liquor even with very high alum dose. This study provides new insight into the behavior and fate of P in the wastewater treatment plants that use alum to enhance P removal in the final effluent.

Uranium,as one of twenty-six kinds of important minerals in China,is strategic resource and energy mineral,which has been thoroughly investigated in the project of National Potential evaluation of Uranium *** the implementation of this project,the authors summarized the metallogenic regularity of uranium resource in China systematically,through the researches of geological characteristics of uranium resource,uranium deposits type（genetic and prediction type）,temporal and spatial distribution,and metallogenic *** on the investigation of present situation and progress in uranium exploration,this paper proposes the uranium deposits in China should be divided into 4 classes,9 types,21 subtypes in genetic,and 50 types in prediction;suggests to divide China into 29 uranium metallogenic belts and 20 uranium prospective area,and constructs 20uranium-polymetallic metallogenic series,through summarizing temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and metallogenic regularity of uranium deposits in *** above research is beneficial to the comprehensive understanding of regional uranium metallogenic regularity,and will direct the uranium exploration in the future.
