Preformation probability and kinematics of cluster emission yielding Pb-daughters

In the present study,the newly established preformation formula is applied for the first time to study the kinematics of the cluster emission from various radioactive nuclei,especially those that decay to the double shell closure^(208)Pb nucleus and its neighbors as daughters.The recently proposed universal cluster preformation formula has been established based on the concepts that underscore the influence of mass and charge asymmetry(η_(A)andη_(Z)),cluster mass A_(c),and the Q-value,paving the way to quantify the energy contribution during preformation as well as during the tunneling process separately.The cluster-daughter interaction potential is obtained by folding the relativistic mean-field(RMF)densities with the recently developed microscopic R3Y using the NL 3^(*)and the phenomenological M3Y NN potentials to compare their adaptability.The penetration probabilities are calculated from the WKB approximation.With the inclusion of the new preformation probability P_(0),the predicted half-lives of the R3Y and M3Y interactions are in good agreement with the experimental data.Furthermore,a careful inspection reflects slight differences in the decay half-lives,which arise from their respective barrier properties.The P_(0)for systems with double magic shell closure^(208)Pb daughter are found to be an order of≈10^(2)higher than those with neighboring Pb daughter nuclei.By exploring the contributions of the decay energy,the recoil effect of the daughter nucleus is evaluated,in contrast to several other conjectures.Thus,the centrality of the Q-value in the decay process is demonstrated and redefined within the preformed cluster-decay model.Additionally,we have introduced a simple and intuitive set of criteria that governs the estimation of recoil energy in the cluster radioactivity.

With the advent of the"Internet+"era and the development of educational informatization,smart teaching will become an important form of education and teaching.This paper starts with the concept and characteristics of smart teaching and takes the course"Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation"as an example.Based on the platform of"Smart Teaching of Chongqing Institute of Engineering",smart teaching practice and research is carried out in four stages:pre-class teaching,in-class teaching,after-class teaching,and teaching evaluation.The practice has proved that this new teaching mode realizes the complementary advantages of online and offline teaching,stimulates students'interest and initiative in learning,improves the teaching quality of the course,and has good application value.

Research on Global Clock Synchronization Mechanism in Software-Defined Control Architecture

Adopt software-definition technology to decouple the functional components of the industrial control system(ICS) in a service-oriented and distributed form is an important way for the industrial Internet of things to integrate information technology, communication technology, and operation technology. Therefore, this paper presents the concept of software-defined control architecture and describes the time consistency requirements under the paradigm shift of ICS architecture. By analyzing the physical clock and virtual clock mechanism models, the global clock synchronization space is logically divided into the physical and virtual clock synchronization domains, and a formal description of the global clock synchronization space is proposed. According to the fundamental analysis of the clock state model, the physical clock linear filtering synchronization model is derived, and a distributed observation fusion filtering model is constructed by considering the two observation modes of the virtual clock to realize the time synchronization of the global clock space by way of timestamp layer-by-layer transfer and fusion estimation. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed model can significantly improve the accuracy and stability of clock synchronization.

Adaptive dynamic reconfiguration mechanism of unmanned swarm topology based on an evolutionary game

Autonomous cooperation of unmanned swarms is the research focus on“new combat forces”and“disruptive technologies”in military fields.The mechanism design is the fundamental way to realize autonomous cooperation.Facing the realistic requirements of a swarm network dynamic adjustment under the background of high dynamics and strong confrontation and aiming at the optimization of the coordination level,an adaptive dynamic reconfiguration mechanism of unmanned swarm topology based on an evolutionary game is designed.This paper analyzes military requirements and proposes the basic framework of autonomous cooperation of unmanned swarms,including the emergence of swarm intelligence,information network construction and collaborative mechanism design.Then,based on the framework,the adaptive dynamic reconfiguration mechanism is discussed in detail from two aspects:topology dynamics and strategy dynamics.Next,the unmanned swarms’community network is designed,and the network characteristics are analyzed.Moreover,the mechanism characteristics are analyzed by numerical simulation,focusing on the impact of key parameters,such as cost,benefit coefficient and adjustment rate on the level of swarm cooperation.Finally,the conclusion is made,which is expected to provide a theoretical reference and decision support for cooperative mode design and combat effectiveness generation of unmanned swarm operations.

Exploring the potential of artificial intelligence techniques in prediction of the removal efficiency of vortex tube silt ejector

A vortex tube silt ejector is a curative hydraulic structure used to remove sediment deposits from canals and is recognized as one of the most efficient substitutes for physically removing canal sediment. The spatially varied flow in the channel and the rotational flow behavior in the tube make the silt removal process complex. It is even harder to accurately predict the silt removal efficiency by traditional models accurately. However, artificial intelligence(AI) and machine learning approaches have emerged as robust substitutes for studying complex processes. Therefore, this research makes use of AI approaches; support vector machine(SVM), random forest(RF), random tree(RT), and multivariate adaptive regression spline(MARS) to compute the vortex tube silt ejection efficiency using the laboratory data sets. The outcomes of the artificial intelligence(AI)-based techniques also were compared with traditional models. It was found that the RT model(root mean square error, RMSE = 2.165, Nash Sutcliffe efficiency, NSE = 0.98) outperforms the other applied approaches which had relatively more significant result errors. The sensitivity analysis of the process depicts the extraction ratio as the key parameter in the computation of vortex tube silt ejector removal efficiency. The findings of the AI-based approaches discussed in the current study might be helpful for hydraulic engineers as well as researchers in the assessment of the removal efficiency of vortex tube silt ejectors.

Adaptive dynamic programming-based fault-tolerant attitude control for flexible spacecraft with limited wireless resources

This paper investigates the attitude control for flexible spacecraft subject to actuator faults and limited onboard communication resources. The control torque quantization scheme is considered between the controller and actuator to reduce the communication burden on the spacecraft. An integral sliding mode control method is designed to stabilize the closed-loop attitude control system and ensure the near-optimal performance of the sliding motion. First, an iterative learning observer scheme is employed to reconstruct the actuator faults and the unknown nonlinear flexible dynamics. Second, an integral sliding surface is combined with the backstepping control method to resolve the time-varying characterization of the closed system. Third, a combination of the adaptive dynamic programming technique and the adaptive single critic neural network approximation is employed to examine the optimal control policy. Finally, the efficacy of the proposed spacecraft attitude control method is demonstrated via a simulation.

CPG Modulates the Omnidirectional Motion of a Hexapod Robot in Unstructured Terrain

Freely shuttling in complex terrain is a basic skill of multi-legged animals.To make the hexapod robot have omnidirectional motion ability by controlling only one parameter,this paper uses the motion control method based on Central Pattern Generator(CPG),maps the output signal of CPG to the foot end trajectory space of the hexapod robot,and proposes an omnidirectional gait controller strategy.In addition,to enable the hexapod robot to adapt to unstructured terrain,an adaptive method based on Dynamic Threshold(DT)is proposed to enable the hexapod robot move in all directions without changing the heading angle in unstructured terrain.Finally,the feasibility of the proposed method is verified by virtual simulation and hexapod robot prototype experiment.Results show that the hexapod robot can omnidirectional motion without changing the heading angle and has good stability in unstructured terrain.
