Taint analysis is a popular method in software analysis field including vulnerability/malware analysis. By identifying taint source and making suitable taint propagation rules, we could directly know whether variables in software have any relationship with input *** taint analysis method is efficient, but it is imprecise since runtime information is lacked. Dynamic taint analysis method usually instruments every instruction in software to catch the taint propagation process. However, this is inefficient since it usually takes lots of time for context switches between original code and instrumenting code. In this paper, we propose a statically-directed dynamic taint analysis method to increase the efficiency of taint analysis process without any loss of accuracy. In this way, there is no need to instrument every instruction. Several experiments are made on our prototype SDTaint and the results show that our method is several times more efficient than traditional dynamic taint analysis method.

Abstract： The supervised teleoperation control is presented for a mobile robot to implement the tasks by using fuzzy logic. The teleoperation control system includes joystick based user interaction mechanism, the high level instruction set and fuzzy logic behaviors integrated in a supervised autonomy teleoperation control system for indoor navigation. These behaviors include left wall following, right wall following, turn left, turn right, left obstacle avoidance, right obstacle avoidance and corridor following based on ultrasonic range finders data. The robot compares the instructive high level command from the operator and relays back a suggestive signal back to the operator in case of mismatch between environment and instructive command. This strategy relieves the operator＇s cognitive burden, handle unforeseen situations and uncertainties of environment autonomously. The effectiveness of the proposed method for navigation in an unstructured environment is verified by experiments conducted on a mobile robot equipped with only ultrasonic range finders for environment sensing.

The single event effects of the sensitivity of a circuit are investigated on a 32-bit microprocessor with a five-stage instruction pipeline by pulsed laser test. The investigation on sensitive mapping of the memory cell is illustrated and then the comparison between the sensitive mapping and the layout of the circuit is made. A comparison result indicates that the area of the sensitive node in sensitive mapping is just the location of the drain in the layout. Therefore, SEE sensitivity in sensitive mapping fits well with that in the physical layout of functional units, which can directly and objectively indicate the size and distribution of sensitive areas. The investigation of sensitive mapping is a meaningful way to verify the hardened effect and provide a reference for improving hardened design by combining with the physical layout.

Aims to provide the block architecture of CoStar3400 DSP that is a high performance, low power and scalable VLIW DSP core, it efficiently deployed a variable-length execution set (VLES) execution model which utilizes the maximum parallelism by allowing multiple address generations and data arithmetic logic units to execute multiple instructions in a single clock cycle. The scalability was provided mainly in using more or less number of functional units according to the intended application. Low power support was added by careful architectural design techniques such as fine-grain clock gating and activation of only the required number of control signals at each stage of the pipeline. The said features of the core make it a suitable candidate for many SoC configurations, especially for compute intensive applications such as wire-line and wireless communications, including infrastructure and subscriber communications. The embedded system designers can efficiently use the scalability and VLIW features of the core by scaling the number of execution units according to specific needs of the application to effectively reduce the power consumption, chip area and time to market the intended final product.

Global software pipelining is a complex but efficient compilation technique to exploit instruction-level parallelism for loops with branches. This paper presents a novel global software pipelining technique, called Thace Software Pipelining,targeted to the instruction-level parallel processors such as Very Long Instruc-tion Word (VLIW) and superscalar machines. Thace software pipelining applies a global code scheduling technique to compact the original loop body. The re-sulting loop is called a trace software pipelined (TSP) code. The trace softwrae pipelined code can be directly executed with special architectural support or call be transformed into a globally software pipelined loop for the current VLIW and superscalar processors. Thus, exploiting parallelism across all iterations of a loop can be completed through compacting the original loop body with any global code scheduling technique. This makes our new technique very promis-ing in practical compilers. Finally, we also present the preliminary experimental results to support our new approach.

Virtual prototypes(VPs) are crucial in today's design flow. VPs are predominantly created in System C transaction-level modeling(TLM) and are leveraged for early software development and other system-level use cases. Recently, virtual prototyping has been introduced for the emerging RISC-V instruction set architecture(ISA) and become an important piece of the growing RISC-V ecosystem. In this paper, we present enhanced virtual prototyping solutions tailored for RISC-V. The foundation is an advanced open source RISC-V VP implemented in System C TLM and designed as a configurable and extensible *** scales from small bare-metal systems to large multi-core systems that run applications on top of the Linux operating system. Based on the RISC-V VP, this paper also discusses advanced VP-based verification approaches and open challenges. In combination, we provide for the first time an integrated and unified overview and perspective on advanced virtual prototyping for RISC-V.

Left ventricular(LV)dysfunction is mainly assessed by global contractile indices such as ejection fraction and LV Volumes in cardiac *** these indices give information about the presence or not of LV alteration,they are not able to identify the location and the size of such *** aim of this study is to compare the performance of three parametric imaging techniques used in cardiac MRI for the regional quantification of cardiac *** proposed approaches were evaluated on 20 patients with myocardial infarction and 20 subjects with normal *** parametric images approaches:covariance analysis,parametric images based on Hilbert transform and those based on the monogenic signal were evaluated using cine-MRI frames acquired in three planes of *** results show that parametric images generated from the monogenic signal were superior in term of sensitivity(89.69%),specificity(86.51%)and accuracy(89.06%)to those based on covariance analysis and Hilbert transform in the detection of contractile dysfunction related to myocardial ***,the parametric image based on the monogenic signal is likely to provide additional regional indices about LV dysfunction and it may be used in clinical practice as a tool for the analysis of the myocardial alterations.
