Isocitrate dehydrogenase(IDH)mutations frequently occur in lower-grade gliomas and secondary *** IDHs exhibit a gain-of-function activity,leading to the production of D-2-hydroxyglutarate(D-2HG)by reducing α-ketoglutarate(α-KG),a central player in metabolism and epigenetic ***,the role ofα-KG homeostasis in IDH-mutated gliomagenesis remains *** this study,we found that low expression of oxoglutarate dehydrogenase(OGDH)was a common feature in IDH-mutated gliomas,as well as *** low expression of OGDH resultedin the accumulation of α-KG and promoted astrocyte ***,IDH1 mutation significantly reducedα-KG levels and increased glutaminolysis and DNA/histone methylation in *** metabolic and epigenetic alterations inhibited astrocyte maturation and led to cortical dysplasia in ***,our results also indicated that reduced OGDH expression can promote the differentiation of glioma cells,while IDH1 mutations impeded the differentiation of glioma cells with low OGDH by reducing the accumulation ofα-KG and increasing ***,we found that l-glutamine increasedα-KG levels and augmented the differentiation-promoting effects of AGI5198,an IDH1-mutant inhibitor,in IDH1-mutant glioma ***,this study reveals that low OGDH expression is a crucial metabolic characteristic of IDH-mutant gliomas,providing a potential strategy for the treatment of IDH-mutant gliomas by targetingα-KG homeostasis.

Ferroelectric ceramics have the potential to be widely applied in the modern industry and military power systems due to their ultrafast charging/discharging speed and high energy *** the structural design and electrical properties of ferroelectric capacitor,it is still a challenge to ffnd out the optimal energy storage of ferroelectric ceramics during the phase-transition process of amorphous/nanocrystalline and *** this work,a ffnite element model suitable for the multiphase ceramic system is constructed based on the phase ffeld breakdown *** nonlinear coupling relationship of multiple physical ffelds between multiphase ceramics was taken into account in this *** basic structures of multiphase ceramics are generated by using the Voronoi diagram construction *** speciffed structure of multiphase ceramics in the phase-transition process of amorphous/nanocrystalline and polycrystalline was further obtained through the grain boundary diffusion *** simulation results show that the multiphase ceramics have an optimal energy storage in the process of amorphous polycrystalline transformation,and the energy storage density reaches the maximum when the crystallinity is 13.96%and the volume fraction of grain is 2.08%.It provides a research plan and idea for revealing the correlation between microstructure and breakdown characteristics of multiphase *** simulation model realizes the nonlinear coupling of the multiphase ceramic mesoscopic structure and the phase ffeld *** provides a reference scheme for the structural design and performance optimization of ferroelectric ceramics.

The Yellow River Basin (YRB) is a vital ecological zone in China owing to its sensitive and fragile *** the long-term influence of climate changes and artificial factors,the relationship between precipitation,vegetation,and surface water in the YRB has changed drastically,ultimately affecting the water resources and environmental ***,we applied multivariate statistical analysis to investigate the precipitation,normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI),and surface water changes in the YRB from 2000to ***,we attempted to clarify the ecological effects of precipitation by explaining the relationship between precipitation and vegetation in terms of the time-lag relationship using the Integrated Multi-satellite Retrievals for Global Precipitation Measurement algorithm,Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer,and hydrological ***,vegetation,and area of surface water in the YRB showed increasing trends from 2000–2021 (e.g.,7.215 mm/yr,0.004 NDVI/yr,and 0.932 km^(2)/yr,respectively).The water level in the upper reaches of the YRB showed a downward trend,whereas that in the middle and lower reaches exhibited an upward *** in precipitation had a positive effect on vegetation and surface water in the YRB,with correlation coefficients of 0.63 and0.51,*** responses of NDVI and surface water elevation to precipitation were heterogeneous and delayed,with the majority showing a lag time of approximately≤16 ***,the lag times of Longyangxia Lake and Ngoring-Co Lake were 0 and 8 days,*** showed that precipitation variability can effectively explain vegetation improvement and increases in surface water elevation,while providing a proven scenario for predicting the surface water and vegetation productivity under the influence of climate change.

In the process of coal mine drilling,controlling the rotary speed is important as it determines the efficiency and safety of *** this paper,a linear extended state observer(LESO)based backstepping controller for rotary speed is proposed,which can overcome the impact of changes in coal seam hardness on rotary ***,the influence of coal seam hardness on the drilling rig’s rotary system is considered for the first time,which is reflected in the numerical variation of load torque,and a dynamic model for the design of rotary speed controller is *** an LESO is designed to observe the load torque,and feedforward compensation is carried out to overcome the influence of coal seam *** on the model of the compensated system,a backstepping method is used to design a controller to achieve tracking control of the rotary ***,the effectiveness of the controller designed in this paper is demonstrated through simulation and field experiments,the steady-state error of the rotary speed in field is 1 r/min,and the overshoot is reduced to 5.8%.This greatly improves the stability and security,which is exactly what the drilling process requires.

Precise regulation of the coordination environment of a metal active center is very important but remains a ***,single-atom Ni catalysts with a combined N-and C-coordination structure(Ni-NC_(3))and N-coordination structure(Ni-N4)were prepared by modulating the side groups of organic ligands in the corresponding precursor metal–azolate *** with the Ni-N4 site,the d-band center of 3d orbitals of the Ni atom in Ni-NC_(3)was more significantly shifted to the Fermi energy level;thus,the Ni-NC_(3)catalytic site was superior to activating CO_(2)molecule into the*COOH *** a result,Ni-NC_(3)exhibited an exceptionally high performance for CO_(2)-to-CO conversion with a Faradaic efficiency of 98.4%,an energy efficiency of>50%,as well as an industrial current density of∼300 mA cm^(−2) in neutral *** high performance could be retained for at least 70 *** work reveals the importance of modulating the coordination environment in the electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction and provides a possible way to rational design of electrocatalysts for highly efficient conversion of CO_(2)to target products.

Background:Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)virus affected more people than SARS-CoV-1 and related *** genetic factors,besides respiratory droplets and direct exposure to the virus,are found highly responsible for transmitting SARS-CoV-2 ***:The objective of this study was to determine the plasma levels of the TMPRSS2 gene and its role in SARS-CoV-2 ***:A total of 100 patients,i.e.50 SARS-CoV-2 positive patients as the case group and 50 SARS-CoV-2 negative samples as the control group,were selected randomly and included in this case-control study to determine the association between TMPRSS2 gene and susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infection and severity of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).The TMPRSS2 levels of case and control samples were measured through an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Following the genomic DNA extraction,a set of reverse and forward primers of human TMPRSS2 gene primers were used for the amplification of the TMPRSS2 ***:In the control group,the ratio of men to women was more or less the same while in the case group 62%of the population were *** TMPRSS2 level was found to be 4.70±7.7 ng/ml in case samples while it was 4.73±5.7 ng/ml in control ***:The levels of TMPRSS2 in plasma samples of both controls and cases were found to be the same indicating that the entry of SARS-CoV-2 is not dependent on the plasma levels of this protein.

Spatial Distribution and Release Flux of Carbon and Nitrogen Components in Glacial Watersheds of Eastern Tibetan Plateau

The carbon cycle stands as a cornerstone among the Earth's material cycles， carrying profound implications for global climate dynamics and humanity's sustenance and advancement. Additionally， nitrogen， as a vital nutrient element， plays a pivotal role in biogeochemical processes， exerting significant influence on the ecological environment within watersheds. In this study， an analysis of the carbon （C） and nitrogen （N） components in the river water of 12 alpine basins on the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau （TP） reveals that the average dissolved organic carbon （DOC） concentration in the river water is 0.76±0.67 mg/L， indicating a lower level compared to the global river average organic carbon content. Specifically， the average DOC concentrations were 0.42±0.22 mg/L and 1.56±0.68 mg/L in the glacial and non-glacial basins， respectively. The average dissolved inorganic carbon （DIC） concentration in the eastern TP is 27.04±20.19 mg/L， with the lowest DIC observed at Dagu Glacier and the highest at Daxia River. Furthermore， the average dissolved total carbon （DTC） concentration in glacier river water was 18.87±12.65 mg/L， contrasting with 48.23±21.07 mg/L in non-glacial basins. The mean concentration of total nitrogen （TN） in the eastern TP averaged 0.97±0.54 mg/L， with the glacial basin registering 1.01±0.47 mg/L and the non-glacial basin at 0.89±0.70 mg/L. Evaluating the release fluxes of carbon and nitrogen across 12 river basins revealed a range of DTC emission fluxes from 0.32 to 31.02 × 109g C/a， with inorganic carbon comprising 71.0% to 99.5%. Consequently， the carbon emission flux for seven glacier basins totaled 15.91 × 109g C/a， while for the five non-glacial river basins， it reached 87.37× 109g C/a. The total TN release fluxes across 12 small river basins amounted to 2.46 × 109g N/a， with 0.84 × 109g N/a released in glacial basins and 1.62 × 109g N/a in the non-glacial basin. Effect of Alkali Metal Ions(Li＋, Na＋ and K＋) on the Luminescent Properties of ZnTiO3：Eu3＋ Phosphors

A series of red emitting ZnTiO3 phosphors co-doped with Eu3＋） and alkali metal ions（Li＋, Na＋ and K＋） was prepared by sol-gel method. The crystal structure of the phosphors was investigated by using X-ray diffraction（XRD） and transmission electron microscopy（TEM） after annealing at 700 ℃. The results show that the crystal structure belongs to the hexagonal phase of ZnTiO3 with space group R-3：R. The influence of site occupancy of different alkali metal ions on the emission of ZnTiO3：Eu3＋） phosphors was investigated in detail. The emission intensity was significantly enhanced by introducing alkali metal ions. In contrast to Eu3＋） singly doped ZnTiO3, the red emission intensities of ZnTiO3：Eu3＋） with 4 mol% alkali metal ions（Li＋, Na＋, K＋） were enhanced by about 2.1, 1.7 and 1.4 times, respectively. In addition, the Commission Internationale Ed I＇eclairage（CIE） chromaticity coordinates of ZnTiO3：Eu3＋）, Li＋（0.672, 0.328） are quite similar to the National Television Standard Committee（NTSC） standard values for the red（0.670, 0.380）.
