Ash removal from inferior coal via ammonium fluoride roasting and simultaneous yield of white carbon black

The quality upgrading and deashing of inferior coal by chemical method still faces great *** dangers of strong acid,strong alkali,waste water and exhaust gas as well as high cost limit its industrial *** paper systematically investigates the ash reduction and desilicification of two typical inferior coal utilizing ammonium fluoride roasting *** the optimal conditions,for fat coal and gas coal,the deashing rates are 69.02%and 54.13%,and the desilicification rates are 92.64%and 90.27%,*** molar dosage of ammonium fluoride remains consistent for both coals;however,the gas coal,characterized by a lower ash and silica content(less than half that of the fat coal),achieves optimum deashing effect at a reduced time and *** majority of silicon in coal transforms into gaseous ammonium fluorosilicate,subsequently preparing nanoscale amorphous silica with a purity of 99.90%through ammonia *** of the fluorine in deashed coal are assigned in inorganic minerals,suggesting the possibility of further fluorine and ash removal via *** research provides a green and facile route to deash inferior coal and produce nano-scale white carbon black simultaneously.

The self-cascade(SC) method is an effective technique for chaos enhancement and complexity increasing in chaos ***, the controllable self-cascade(CSC) method allows for more accurate control of Lyapunov exponents of the discrete map. In this work, the SC and CSC systems of the original map are derived, which enhance the chaotic performance while preserving the fundamental dynamical characteristics of the original map. Higher Lyapunov exponent of chaotic sequences corresponding to higher frequency are obtained in SC and CSC systems. Meanwhile, the Lyapunov exponent could be linearly controlled with greater flexibility in the CSC system. The verification of the numerical simulation and theoretical analysis is carried out based on the platform of CH32.

This study develops low-fat microwaved peanut snacks(LMPS)using partially defatted peanuts(PDP)with different defatting ratios,catering to people’s pursuit of healthy,low-fat *** effects of defatting treatment on the structural characteristics,texture,color,and nutrient composition of LMPS were comprehensively *** structural characteristics of LMPS were characterized using X-ray micro-computed tomography(Micro-CT)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results demonstrated that the porosity,pore number,pore volume,brightness,brittleness,protein content,and total sugar content of LMPS all significantly increased(P<0.05)with the increase in the defatting *** the micro level,porous structure,cell wall rupture,and loss of intracellular material could be observed in LMPS after defatting *** made from PDP with a defatting ratio of 64.44%had the highest internal pore structural parameters(porosity 59%,pore number 85.3×10^(5),pore volume 68.23 mm3),the brightest color(L^(*) 78.39±0.39),the best brittleness(3.64±0.21)mm^(–1)),and the best nutrition(high protein content,(34.02±0.38)%;high total sugar content,(17.45±0.59)%;low-fat content,(27.58±0.85)%).The study provides a theoretical basis for the quality improvement of LMPS.

Federated Learning(FL),as an emergent paradigm in privacy-preserving machine learning,has garnered significant interest from scholars and engineers across both academic and industrial *** its innovative approach to model training across distributed networks,FL has its vulnerabilities;the centralized server-client architecture introduces risks of single-point ***,the integrity of the global model—a cornerstone of FL—is susceptible to compromise through poisoning attacks by malicious *** attacks and the potential for privacy leakage via inference starkly undermine FL’s foundational privacy and security *** these reasons,some participants unwilling use their private data to train a model,which is a bottleneck in the development and industrialization of federated *** technology,characterized by its decentralized ledger system,offers a compelling solution to these *** inherently prevents single-point failures and,through its incentive mechanisms,motivates participants to contribute computing ***,blockchain-based FL(BCFL)emerges as a natural progression to address FL’s *** study begins with concise introductions to federated learning and blockchain technologies,followed by a formal analysis of the specific problems that FL *** discusses the challenges of combining the two technologies and presents an overview of the latest cryptographic solutions that prevent privacy leakage during communication and incentives in *** addition,this research examines the use of BCFL in various fields,such as the Internet of Things and the Internet of ***,it assesses the effectiveness of these solutions.

In this study,a novel multi-physics multi-scale model with the dilute multicomponent phase-field method in three-dimensional(3D)space was developed to investigate the complex microstructure evolu-tion in the molten pool during laser welding of Al-Li *** accurately compute mass data within both two and three-dimensional computational domains,three efficient computing methods,including central processing unit parallel computing,adaptive mesh refinement,and moving-frame algorithm,were *** was placed on the distinctive equiaxed-to-columnar-to-equiaxed transition phenomenon that occurs during the entire solidification process of Al-Li alloy laser *** results indi-cated that the growth distance of columnar grains that epitaxially grew from the base metal(BM)de-creased as the nucleation rate *** the nucleation rate increased,the morphology of the newly formed grains near the fusion boundary(FB)changed from columnar to equiaxed,and newly formed equiaxed grains changed from having high-order dendrites to no obvious dendrite *** the nucleation rate was sufficiently high,non-dendritic equiaxed grains could directly form near the FB,and there was nearly no epitaxial growth from the ***,simulation results illustrated the com-petition among multiple grains with varying orientations that grow in 3D space near the ***,how equiaxed grain bands develop was *** equiaxed band not only hindered the growth of early columnar grains but also some of its grains could grow epitaxially to form new columnar *** predicted results were in good agreement with experimental measurements and observations.

Heterogeneous pressure-carrying medium was employed to establish a differentiated pressure field on sheet metal in flexible die forming process in this work,which aimed at matching the non-symmetric shape of target component and improving metal inflow to avoid local tensile ***,metal inflow corresponding to the differentiated pressure field was analytically *** of a typical non-symmetric shell component was experimentally and numerically studied based on the proposed *** with forming processes based on the uniform pressure,difference of metal inflow in two sides of the non-symmetric component increased from 2.16 mm to 3.36 mm and metal inflow in critical region increased by 11.9%when differentiated pressure field(taking heterogeneous elastomer#4–3 for example)was *** resultant maximum thinning ratio decreased by 4.2% and the uniformity of shell thickness increased by 16.9%.With the decrease of Shore hardness of elastomer in the formed region,stress path in the ready-to-form region transferred towards the bi-axial tension stress state,i.e.,stress ratio(a)***,stress triaxiality(η)in characteristic regions were regulated appropriately,which decreased the risk of tensile *** was attributed to the decreased normal pressure and frictional resistance at sheet/elastomer interface in the formed region.

Carbon emission reduction and clean energy development are urgent demands for mankind in the coming *** an efficient CO_(2) storage method can significantly reduce CO_(2) emissions in the short *** this study,we attempted to construct sediment samples with different residual CH_(4) hydrate amounts and reservoir conditions,and then investigate the potentials of both CO_(2) storage and enhanced CH_(4) recovery in depleted gas hydrate deposits in the permafrost and ocean zones,*** results demonstrate that CO_(2) hydrate formation rate can be significantly improved due to the presence of residual hydrate seeds;However,excessive residual hydrates in turn lead to the decrease in CO_(2) storage *** by the T-P conditions of the reservoir,the storage amount of liquid CO_(2) can reach 8 times that of gaseous CO_(2),and CO_(2) stored in hydrate form reaches 2-4 ***,we noticed two other advantages of this *** is that CO_(2) injection can enhance CH_(4) recovery rate and increases CH_(4) recovery by 10%-20%.The second is that hydrate saturation in the reservoir can be restored to 20%-40%,which means that the solid volume of the reservoir avoids serious ***,this is crucial for protecting the goaf *** summary,this approach is greatly promising for high-efficient CO_(2) storage and safe exploitation of gas hydrate.

The A_(2)B_(2)O_(7)-type rare earth zirconate compounds have been considered as promising candidates for thermal barrier coating(TBC) materials because of their low sintering rate,improved phase stability,and reduced thermal conductivity in contrast with the currently used yttria-partially stabilized zirconia (YSZ) in high operating temperature *** review summarizes the recent progress on rare earth zirconates for TBCs that insulate high-temperature gas from hot-section components in gas *** on the first principles,molecular dynamics,and new data-driven calculation approaches,doping and high-entropy strategies have now been adopted in advanced TBC materials *** this paper,the solid-state heat transfer mechanism of TBCs is explained from two aspects,including heat conduction over the full operating temperature range and thermal radiation at medium and high *** paper also provides new insights into design considerations of adaptive TBC materials,and the challenges and potential breakthroughs are further highlighted for extreme environmental *** for improving thermophysical performance are proposed in two approaches:defect engineering and material compositing.

Bone collagen hydrolysates(peptides)derived from byproduct of animal product processing have been used to produce commercially valuable products due to their potential antioxidant *** glycosylated reaction is considered as a promising method to enhance the antioxidant activity of ***,this research aims at investigating the Maillard glycosylation activity and antioxidant activity of bone collagen hydrolysates from different *** this study,3 glycosylated bone collagen hydrolysates were prepared and characterized,and cytotoxicity and antioxidant activity were analyzed and *** free amino groups loss,browning intensity,and fluorescence intensity of G-Cbcp(glycosylated chicken bone collagen hydrolysates(peptides))were the heaviest,followed by G-Pbcp(glycosylated porcine bone collagen hydrolysates(peptides))and G-Bbcp(glycosylated bovine bone collagen hydrolysates(peptides)).The results of amino acid analysis showed that amino acid composition of different bone collagen hydrolysates was significantly different and the amino acid decreased to different degrees after Maillard glycosylated reaction,which may lead to differences in Maillard glycosylated reaction ***,the 3 glycosylated hydrolysates showed no significant *** results showed that glycosylation process significantly increased the antioxidant activity of bone collagen hydrolysates,and G-Cbcp showed the strongest antioxidant activity,followed by G-Pbcp and ***,compared with the bone collagen hydrolysates,3 glycosylated hydrolysates showed significant characteristic and structural changes,and higher antioxidant activity.
