Self-assembly tungsten selenide hybrid ternary MOF derived magnetic alloys via multi-polarization to boost microwave absorption

Confronted with severe electromagnetic wave pollution,the development of high-performance electromagnetic wave shielding or absorbing materials is an effective way to deal with ***,double transition metal alloys and transition metal dichalcogenides have attracted extensive attention in electromagnetic wave absorption,but few reports have studied the effects of these two materials on electromagnetic wave absorption at the same *** this work,cobalt-based alloy with magnetic loss mechanism was selected for composition *** ternary metal-organic framework was prepared by the one-step method,and then CoCu/C was prepared by high temperature ***,in the hydrothermal process,ultra-thin tungsten selenide nanosheets were coated on the surface of magnetic component,and the final polyhedral WSe_(2)/CoCu/C composites with multiple heterogeneous interfaces were *** synergistic effect of dielectric and magnetic components optimizes impedance matching and allows more electromagnetic waves to enter the ***,through the conduction loss of high conductivity graphitized carbon,interfacial polarization,and dipole polarization of heterogeneous interfaces between the components,the magnetic loss provided by CoCu alloy can work together to maximize the attenuation ability of electromagnetic ***,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)value of the composite reaches-53.43 dB when the matched thickness is 2.1 mm,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EABmax)reaches 6.0 GHz at a thin thickness of 1.8 *** work provides some support and reference for the design of novel electromagnetic wave absorbing materials via the dielectric/magnetic loss synergistic mechanism.

Physical information-enhanced graph neural network for predicting phase separation

Although phase separation is a ubiquitous phenomenon, the interactions between multiple components make it difficult to accurately model and predict. In recent years, machine learning has been widely used in physics simulations. Here,we present a physical information-enhanced graph neural network(PIENet) to simulate and predict the evolution of phase separation. The accuracy of our model in predicting particle positions is improved by 40.3% and 51.77% compared with CNN and SVM respectively. Moreover, we design an order parameter based on local density to measure the evolution of phase separation and analyze the systematic changes with different repulsion coefficients and different Schmidt *** results demonstrate that our model can achieve long-term accurate predictions of order parameters without requiring complex handcrafted features. These results prove that graph neural networks can become new tools and methods for predicting the structure and properties of complex physical systems.

Lignin-reinforced PVDF electrolyte for dendrite-free quasi-solid-state Li metal battery

Quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries(QSSLMBs)assembled with polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)are a promising class of next-generation rechargeable batteries due to their safety,high energy density,and superior interfacial ***,PVDF has a series of inherent drawbacks such as low ionic conductivity,ease of crystallization,and hydrophobic character that leading to poor cell *** tackle these issues,a lignin-reinforced PVDF electrolyte is proposed in this work to solve these drawbacks of PVDF and enhance the comprehensive performance of *** lithophilic polar groups of lignin can promote uniform deposition of Li on the *** with the improved mechanical properties can efficiently prevent Li dendrites penetration through the *** addition,more active sites provided by lignin can also enhance Li^(+)transport and lead to a faster electrochemical reaction *** from the ingenious design,Li symmetric cells with 5%lignin-PVDF quasi-solid-state electrolyte can operate for 900 h at a high current density/capacity of 5 mA·cm^(-2)/5 mAh·cm^(-2),while shortcircuiting occurs after 56 h for the counterpart(pure PVDF).Moreover,a full cell of Li/5%lignin-PVDF/LFP cell demonstrates a high capacity of 96.2 mAh·g^(-1)after 2000 cycles at 10 *** work is expected to open up promising opportunities to develop other high-energy/power-density QSSLMBs.

Chemical mechanical planarization of amorphous Ge_2Sb_2Te_5 with a soft pad

Chemical mechanical planarization（CMP） of amorphous Ge_2Sb_2Te_5（a-GST） is investigated using two typical soft pads（politex REG and AT） in acidic *** CMP,it is found that the removal rate（RR） of a-GST increases with an increase of runs number for both ***,it achieves the higher RR and better surface quality of a-GST for an AT *** in-situ sheet resistance（R_s） measure shows the higher R_s of a-GST polishing can be gained after CMP using both pads and the high R_s is beneficial to lower the reset current for the PCM cells. In order to find the root cause of the different RR of a-GST polishing with different pads,the surface morphology and characteristics of both new and used pads are analyzed,it shows that the AT pad has smaller porosity size and more pore counts than that of the REG pad,and thus the AT pad can transport more fresh slurry to the reaction interface between the pad and a-GST,which results in the high RR of a-GST due to enhanced chemical reaction.

Fault Prediction Based on Dynamic Model and Grey Time Series Model in Chemical Processes

This paper combines grey model with time series model and then dynamic model for rapid and in-depth fault prediction in chemical processes. Two combination methods are proposed. In one method, historical data is introduced into the grey time series model to predict future trend of measurement values in chemical process. These predicted measurements are then used in the dynamic model to retrieve the change of fault parameters by model based diagnosis algorithm. In another method, historical data is introduced directly into the dynamic model to retrieve historical fault parameters by model based diagnosis algorithm. These parameters are then predicted by the grey time series model. The two methods are applied to a gravity tank example. The case study demonstrates that the first method is more accurate for fault prediction.

Forecasts of industrial emissions provide a basis for impact assessment and development planning. To date, most studies have assumed that industrial emissions are simply coupled to production value at a given stage of technical progress. It has been argued that the monetary method tends to overestimate pollution loads because it is highly influenced by market prices and fails to address spatial development schemes. This article develops a land use-based environmental performance index （L-EPI） that treats the industrial land areas as a dependent variable for pollution emissions. The basic assumption of the method is that at a planning level, industrial land use change can represent the change in industrial structure and production yield. This physical metric provides a connection between the state-of-the-art and potential impacts of future devel- opment and thus avoids the intrinsic pitfalls of the industrial Gross Domestic Product-based approach. Both methods were applied to examine future industrial emissions at the planning area of Dalian Municipality, North-west China, under a development scheme provided by the urban master plan. The results suggested that the L- EPI method is highly reliable and applicable for the estimation and explanation of the spatial variation associated with industrial emissions.

A Physical Simulation Test for the RockBurst in Tunnels

According to the test results of the physical and mechanical properties of similar materials in various quality mixture, a type of material with obvious tendency of rockburst was selected to produce a large-size model to simulate rockburst phenomena in tunnels. The prototype model comes from a typical section of diversion tunnels in Jinping Hydropower Station in China. The simulation of excavating tunnels is carried out by opening a hole in the model after loading. The modeling results indicated that under the condition of normal stresses in the model boundaries the arch top, spandrel and side walls of the tunnel produced an obvious jump reaction of stress and strain and the acoustic emission counts of the surrounding rock also increased rapidly in a different time period after the "tunnel" excavation, showing the clear features of rockburst. The spalling, buckling and breaking occurred in the surrounding rock of model in conditions of over loading. It is concluded that the modeling tunnel segment in Jinping Hydropower Station is expected to form the tensile rockburst with the pattern of spalling, buckling and breaking.
