With the rapid development of industry,volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are gaining attention as a class of pollutants that need to be eliminated due to their adverse effects on the environment and human *** combustion is the most popular technology used for the removal of VOCs as it can be adapted to different organic emissions under mild *** review first introduces the hazards of VOCs,their treatment technologies,and summarizes the treatment mechanism ***,the characteristics and catalytic performance of perovskite oxides as catalysts for VOC removal are expounded,with a special focus on lattice distortions and surface defects caused by metal doping and surface modifications,and on the treatment of different *** challenges and the prospects regarding the design of perovskite oxides catalysts for the catalytic combustion of VOCs are also *** review provides a reference base for improving the performance of perovskite catalysts to treat VOCs.

Achieving net-zero CO_(2)emissions is the current main focus of China’s carbon neutrality ***,non-CO_(2)greenhouse gases(GHGs)are more powerful climate forcers,making their emission reduction an opportunity to rapidly mitigate future ***,we evaluate non-CO_(2)mitigation potentials,costs and climate benefits in the context of China’s carbon neutrality *** assessment is conducted by coupling the integrated assessment model GCAM with a climate *** findings indicate that mitigation technologies can largely reduce fluorinated gas emissions from industrial sectors,but long-term non-CO_(2)reductions of energy sector activities rely heavily on fuel ***,the cumulative costs of deploying non-CO_(2)mitigation technologies are projected to be less than 10%of the total costs of achieving carbon neutrality from 2020 to *** non-CO_(2)mitigation measures are included in the overall mitigation portfolio,the benefits of avoided warming would by far outweigh the total mitigation cost *** results thus highlight that incorporating a wider suite of GHGs into climate change mitigation strategies can enhance the cost-effectiveness of mitigation efforts.

Ultra-high-temperature ceramic matrix composites(UHTCMCs)based on a ZrB_(2)/SiC matrix have been investigated for the fabrication of reusable nozzles for *** de Laval nozzle prototypes,obtained by sintering with either hot pressing(HP)or spark plasma sintering(SPS),were tested 2-3 times in a hybrid rocket motor for proving *** were extracted after oxidation tests to study the microstructural changes and oxidative and thermomechanical stresses induced by the repeated *** to a reference graphite nozzle,no measurable erosion was observed for the UHTCMC-based *** oxidation mechanism consisted in the formation of a ZrO_(2)intermediate layer,with a liquid silicon oxide(SiO_(2))layer on the surface that was displaced by the action of the gas flux towards the divergent part of the nozzle,protecting it from further *** specimens obtained by HP and SPS displayed similar performance,with very slight differences,which were attributed to small changes in *** tests demonstrated the capability of complex-shaped prototypes made of the developed UHTCMCs to survive repeated exposure to environments representative of a realistic space propulsion application,for overall operating time up to 30 s,without any failure nor measurable erosion,making a promising step towards the development of reusable rocket components.

The incorporation of partial A-site substitution in perovskite oxides represents a promising strategy for precisely controlling the electronic configuration and enhancing its intrinsic catalytic *** methods for A-site substitution typically involve prolonged high-temperature *** these processes promote the development of unique nanostructures with highly exposed active sites,they often result in the uncontrolled configuration of introduced ***,we present a novel approach for synthesizing two-dimensional(2D)porous GdFeO_(3) perovskite with A-site strontium(Sr)substitution utilizing microwave shock *** technique enables precise control of the Sr content and simultaneous construction of 2D porous structures in one step,capitalizing on the advantages of rapid heating and cooling(temperature~1100 K,rate~70 K s^(-1)).The active sites of this oxygen-rich defect structure can be clearly revealed through the simulation of the electronic configuration and the comprehensive analysis of the crystal *** electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction application,the synthesized 2D porous Gd_(0.8)Sr_(0.2)FeO_(3) electrocatalyst exhibits an exceptional overpotential of 294 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)and a small Tafel slope of 55.85 mV dec^(-1)in alkaline *** study offers a fresh perspective on designing crystal configurations and the construction of nanostructures in perovskite.

1. Overview China overtook the US as the world＇s top emitter in 2007, and produced 1.5 times the emissions of the US by 2013 [1 ]. At pres- ent, China＇s emissions make up over a quarter of the global total. China is expected to produce three times the emissions of the US by 2030 [2]. Indeed, China＇s role and efforts in CO2 reductions matter greatly for the peaking of global emissions, even without further emission leakages to less-developed regions or countries. China recently announced the launch of a nation-wide emissiontrading scheme （ETS） starting in 2017 [3] in order to help deliver its emission peak by 2030. A number of climate policies in China are ongoing, and require a full performance review, effective coordination, and appropriate implementation of planning and monitoring measures along with any newly added mechanisms. This paper utilizes the latest energy and emission data to explore the impact of emission trading as a policy driver toward absolute emission and emission intensity changes in China and in its seven provinces or municipalities.

Amid the backdrop of carbon neutrality, traditional energy production is transitioning towards integrated energy systems (IES), where model-based scheduling is key in scenarios with multiple uncertainties on both supply and demand sides. The development of artificial intelligence algorithms, has resolved issues related to model accuracy. However, under conditions of high proportion renewable energy integration, component load adjustments require increased flexibility, so the mathematical model of the component must adapt to constantly changing operating conditions. Therefore, the identification of operating condition changes and rapid model updating are pressing issues. This study proposes a modeling and updating method for IES components based on knowledge distillation. The core of this modeling method is the light weighting of the model, which is achieved through a knowledge distillation method, using a teacher-student mode to compress complex neural network models. The triggering of model updates is achieved through principal component analysis. The study also analyzes the impact of model errors caused by delayed model updates on the overall scheduling of IES. Case studies are conducted on critical components in IES, including coal-fired boilers and turbines. The results show that the time consumption for model updating is reduced by 76.67 % using the proposed method. Under changing conditions, compared with two traditional models, the average deviation of this method is reduced by 12.61 % and 3.49 %, respectively, thereby improving the model's adaptability. The necessity of updating the component model is further analyzed, as a 1.00 % mean squared error in the component model may lead to a power deviation of 0.075 MW. This method provides real-time, adaptable support for IES data modeling and updates.
