State Machine with Tracking Tree and Traffic Allocation Scheme Based on Cumulative Entropy for Satellite Network

Satellite network is regarded as an important component of 5 th Generation(5 G). New deployment scenarios have been designed in form of satellite network fused 5 G terrestrial network. Service requests in Non terrestrial networks(NTN) are noncentralized in the time and space domain, which cause services modelling uncertain and lack of balance between latency and bandwidth. Targeted at those bottlenecks,a Satellite service model based on State machine with tracking tree(SM-SMTT) and traffic allocation scheme base on cumulative entropy is proposed. Enhanced mobile broadband service, low latency service and massive machine type communications in satellite will be modelled by SM-SMTT. Cumulative entropy is introduced as the criterion to allocate traffic. According to the lower bound from cumulative entropy, the balance of latency and bandwidth is achieved in different deployment *** simulation in OPNET, demonstrations the new scheme has promoted the performance of delay and bandwidth utilization by 37.8% and 12.0%.

The optimal velocity model of traffc is extended to take the relative velocity into account. The traffcbehavior is investigated numerically and analytically with this model. It is shown that the car interaction with therelative velocity can effect the stability of the traffic flow and raise critical density. The jamming transition between thefreely moving and jamming phases is investigated with the linear stability analysis and nonlinear perturbation *** traffic jam is described by the kink solution of the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. The theoretical result isin good agreement with the simulation.

Mobile ad hoc network(MANET)is a centerless packet radio network which does not use fixed *** has recently received tremendous attention due to its capabilities of self-configuration and ***,attenuation and interference caused by node mobility and wireless channel sharing weaken the stability of communication links.A mathematical exploring model for the next hop has been established based on the optimal exploring *** negative impact of wireless routes discontinuity has been alleviated by a novel fast local routing repair scheme(FLRRS)proposed in this paper,wherein the route requirement zone has been restricted into a pie slice region on intermediate nodes according to the solution of exploring *** scheme is an effective approach in reducing the average end-to-end delay during routing *** also allows continuous packet forwarding for fault ***-2 based simulation results showed remarkable successful packet delivery rate and end-to-end delay improvements of source-initiated routing protocol with the fast local repair scheme,especially in the case of high dynamic environments with heavy traffc loads.

Vehicle traveling time prediction is an important part of the research of intelligent transportation system. By now, there have been various kinds of methods for vehicle traveling time prediction. But few consider both aspects of time and space. In this paper, a vehicle traveling time prediction method based on grey theory (GT) and linear regression analysis (LRA) is presented. In aspects of time, we use the history data sequence of bus speed on a certain road to predict the future bus speed on that road by GT. And in aspects of space, we calculate the traffc affecting factors between various roads by LRA. Using these factors we can predict the vehicle’s speed at the lower road if the vehicle’s speed at the current road is known. Finally we use time factor and space factor as the weighting factors of the two results predicted by GT and LRA respectively to find the final result, thus calculating the vehicle’s traveling time. The method also considers such factors as dwell time, thus making the prediction more accurate.

A traffic management scheme in serial RapidlO （SR10） interconnect is proposed to deal with the performance degradation caused by noise and electromagnetic interference （EMI）, which is generated by hardly avoidable errors of hardware implementation and tough working environment. The main idea of this scheme includes adaptive speed transition and freeze-acknowledgement （freeze-ACK）. Adaptive speed transition can improve throughput and reduce delay in high bit error rate （BER） environment. Simultaneously, freeze-ACK is adopted to conquer frequent usage of feedback channel. Simulation shows that the scheme of combining adaptive speed transition with freeze-ACK offers great performance improvement in SRIO network.

The security threats to software-defined networks(SDNs)have become a significant problem,generally because of the open framework of *** all the threats,distributed denial-of-service(DDoS)attacks can have a devastating impact on the *** propose a method to discover DDoS attack behaviors in SDNs using a feature-pattern graph *** feature-pattern graph model presented employs network patterns as nodes and similarity as weighted links;it can demonstrate not only the traffc header information but also the relationships among all the network *** similarity between nodes is modeled by metric learning and the Mahalanobis *** proposed method can discover DDoS attacks using a graph-based neighborhood classification method;it is capable of automatically finding unknown attacks and is scalable by inserting new nodes to the graph model via local or global *** on two datasets prove the feasibility of the proposed method for attack behavior discovery and graph update tasks,and demonstrate that the graph-based method to discover DDoS attack behaviors substantially outperforms the methods compared herein.

This paper deals with the effects of traffic bottlenecks using an extended Lighthill-Whitham-Richards （LWR） model. The solution structure is analytically indicated by the study of the Riemann problem characterized by a discontinuous flux. This leads to a typical solution describing a queue upstream of the bottleneck and its width and height, and informs the design of a δ-mapping algorithm. More significantly, it is found that the kinetic model is able to reproduce stop-and-go waves for a triangular fun-damental diagram. Some simulation examples, which are in agreement with the analytical solutions, are given to support these conclusions.
