The detailed description of two granite complexes in the Olkhon subterrane is *** Early Paleozoic Sharanur complex was formed by granitization of gneisses of the Olkhon *** includes migmatites,granite-gneisses,granites and pegmatites of normal alkalinity;they belong to the type of syncollisional *** Middle Paleozoic Aya granite complex includes mother Aya massif of amazonite-bearing granites and several types of rare-metal *** have elevated alkalinity,low of Ba,Sr,and high LILE and HFSE elements *** Aya pegmatites lie in northwest cracks of stretching and associated with the rise of the territory under the influence of the North Asian *** cracks and pegmatites mark the beginning of a new intraplate geodynamic *** geochemical types are distinguished among the pegmatites of this *** are amazonite pegmatites of Li-F type with Ta mineralization and complex type pegmatite with Be-Rb-Nb-Ta and Li-F mineralization(the Ilixin vein).The Tashkiney pegmatite vein is similar to Ilixin,but lies in the gneisses of the Olkhon *** shows high concentrations of Be,Nb,Ta,as well as W,Sn,but lacks Li and F,due to a greater depth and higher temperature of the melt crystallization of this pegmatite.

Magmatism associated with oceanic subduction plays a dominant role in crustal growth during the Earth's *** Tannuola terrane,situated in the northern Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),is a key area to understanding oceanic subduction and initial collision processes in the northern *** order to investigate the switch from subduction to collision settings,detailed field mapping,zircon SHRIMP U-Pb geochronological and whole-rock geochemical studies of volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks from the Tannuola terrane were carried *** U-Pb ages indicate multi-stage volcanism lasted at least 30 Ma from~540 to~510 Ma,that can be divided into three events:the late Ediacaran(before~540 Ma),the early Cambrian(~520 Ma)and the middle Cambrian(~510 Ma).These ages are inter-preted to the initial,main and final stages of oceanic subduction during the late Proterozoic-early *** the late Ediacaran,tholeiitic basalts with highεNd(t)values(from+7.4 to+8.5)were *** forming by the 10%-30%partial melting of spinel-garnet mantle source during slab *** the early Cambrian,transitional from tholeiitic to calc-alkaline basaltic rocks withεNd(t)value(+5.6)and coeval intermediate-felsic volcanic rocks with similarεNd(t)values(+5.9 and+6.5)*** early Cambrian basaltic rocks are interpreted to be derived by 10%-30%partial melt-ing of a depleted mantle source metasomatized by slab-derived fluids released from the subducting ocea-nic *** middle Cambrian calcalkaline basaltic rocks withεNd(t)value of+6.2 might be emplaced as a result of low(5%-10%)degree partial melting of a metasomatized mantle followed by fractional crys-tallization of clinopyroxene and *** intermediate-felsic volcanic rocks withεNd(t)values from+6.0 to+6.8 were formed through fractionation of the juvenile Neoproterozoic *** middle Cambrian volcanism is interpreted to be triggered by the slab break-off during the transition to a collisional se

We revisit the spin effects induced by thermal vorticity by calculating them directly from the spin-dependent distribution *** spin-1/2 particles,we provide the polarization up to the first order of thermal vorticity and compare it with the usual results calculated from the spin *** spin-1 particles,we show that all the non-diagonal elements vanish and there is no spin alignment up to the first order of thermal *** present the spin alignment at second-order contribution from thermal *** also show that the spin effects for both Dirac and vector particles receive an extra contribution when the spin direction is associated with the momentum of the particle.

Screen sensors are the most commonly used human-machine interfaces in our everyday life,which have been extensively applied in personal electronics like *** screen sensors are attracting growing interest due to their distinct advantages of high interaction freedom,comfortability,and hand ***,the material compositions of current touchless screen sensors are rigid and fragile,hardly meeting the needs of wearable and stretchable on-skin electronics ***,these touchless screen sensors are also restricted by high power consumption,limited gesture types of recognition,and the requirement of light ***,we report a stretchable on-skin touchless screen sensor(OTSS)enabled by an ionic hydrogel-based triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG).Compared with current touchless screen sensors,the OTSS is stretchable,self-powered,and competent to recognize diverse gestures by making use of charges naturally carried on fingers without the need of sufficient light *** on-skin noncontact screen operating system is further demonstrated on the basis of the OTSS,which could unlock a cellphone interface in touchless operation mode on the human *** work for the first time introduces the on-skin touchless concept to screen sensors and offers a direction to develop new-generation screen sensors for future cellphones and personal electronics.

Magnetic holes at the ion-to-electron kinetic scale(KSMHs)are one of the extremely small intermittent structures generated in turbulent magnetized *** recent years,the explorations of KSMHs have made substantial strides,driven by the ultra-high-precision observational data gathered from the Magnetospheric Multiscale(MMS)*** review paper summarizes the up-to-date characteristics of the KSMHs observed in Earth’s turbulent magnetosheath,as well as their potential impacts on space *** review starts by introducing the fundamental properties of the KSMHs,including observational features,particle behaviors,scales,geometries,and distributions in terrestrial *** have discovered that KSMHs display a quasi-circular electron vortex-like structure attributed to electron diamagnetic *** electrons exhibit noticeable non-gyrotropy and undergo *** occurrence rate of KSMH in the Earth’s magnetosheath is significantly greater than in the solar wind and magnetotail,suggesting the turbulent magnetosheath is a primary source ***,KSMHs have also been generated in turbulence simulations and successfully reproduced by the kinetic equilibrium ***,KSMHs have demonstrated their ability to accelerate electrons by a novel non-adiabatic electron acceleration mechanism,serve as an additional avenue for energy dissipation during magnetic reconnection,and generate diverse wave phenomena,including whistler waves,electrostatic solitary waves,and electron cyclotron waves in space *** results highlight the magnetic hole’s impact such as wave-particle interaction,energy cascade/dissipation,and particle acceleration/heating in space *** end this paper by summarizing these discoveries,discussing the generation mechanism,similar structures,and observations in the Earth’s magnetotail and solar wind,and presenting a future extension perspective in this active field.

We derived the properties of the terrestrial magnetopause(MP)from two modeling approaches,one global–fluid,the other local–kinetic,and compared the results with data collected in situ by the Magnetospheric Multiscale 2(MMS2)*** used global magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)simulations of the Earth’s magnetosphere(publicly available from the NASA-CCMC[National Aeronautics and Space Administration–Community Coordinated Modeling Center])and local Vlasov equilibrium models(based on kinetic models for tangential discontinuities)to extract spatial profiles of the plasma and field variables at the Earth’s *** global MHD simulations used initial solar wind conditions extracted from the OMNI database at the time epoch when the MMS2 observes the *** kinetic Vlasov model used asymptotic boundary conditions derived from the same in situ MMS measurements upstream or downstream of the *** global MHD simulations provide a three-dimensional image of the magnetosphere at the time when the MMS2 crosses the *** Vlasov model provides a one-dimensional local view of the MP derived from first principles of kinetic *** MMS2 experimental data also serve as a reference for comparing and validating the numerical simulations and *** found that the MP transition layer formed in global MHD simulations was generally localized closer to the Earth(roughly by one Earth radius)from the position of the real MP observed by the *** also found that the global MHD simulations overestimated the thickness of the MP transition by one order of magnitude for three analyzed variables:magnetic field,density,and tangential *** MP thickness derived from the local Vlasov equilibrium was consistent with observations for all three of these *** overestimation of density in the Vlasov equilibrium was reduced compared with the global MHD *** discuss our results in the context of future SMILE(solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer)campaigns for observing

The Itmurundy Zone of Central Kazakhstan is a key structure in the core of the Kazakh Orocline representing a typical Pacific-type orogenic belt hosting accretionary complex,ophiolite massifs and serpentinite mé*** main controversies in the existing tectonic models of the Itmurundy Zone are about the timing of subduction and accretion,the direction and kinematics of subduction and the number of oceanic plates.A new model for the early Paleozoic tectonic story of the Itmurundy Zone is postulated in this paper,based on new detailed geological and U-Pb detrital zircon age data,combined with previously documented geological,U-Pb age,microfossil,geochemical and isotope data from igneous rocks,deep-sea sediments and greywacke *** present study employs the Ocean Plate Stratigraphy(OPS)model to explain the tectonic processes involved in the evolution of the Itmurundy Zone and to pre-sent a holistic story of Ordovician oceanic plate(s),which accretion formed an accretionary *** detailed mapping allows distinguishing three types of OPS assemblages:(1)Chert-dominated,(2)OIB-hosting,and(3)*** U-Pb ages of detrital zircons from sandstones of OIB and Chert types show unimodal distributions with similar main peaks of magmatism at 460-455 Ma in the provenance,and their maximum depositional ages(MDA)span 455-433 *** samples from OPS Type 3 show the peaks of magmatism both at ca.460 Ma and the MDA of 452 Ma and 459 Ma,*** MDA of sandstones and microfossils data from chert show the younging of strata to the south and SE in Types 1 and 2 and to NEE for Type 3(in present coordinates)suggesting double-sided subduction to the NNW and SEE and,accordingly,the co-existence of pieces of two oceanic plates in Ordovician *** U-Pb zircon data from both igneous and clastic rocks indicate a period of subduction erosion in early Ordovician *** a whole,the accreted OPS units of the Itmurundy Zone record the timing of subduction and accre

Catalytic co-combustion of biomass and brown coal in a fluidized bed:Economic and environmental benefits

The work is devoted to the study of combustion of brown coal,pine sawdust,and their mixtures in a fluidized bed of catalyst at 600-750℃.It is shown that an increase in the content of sawdust in a mixture with brown coal leads to an increase in the burnout degree of solid fuel from 94.4%to 99.9%,while the emission of greenhouse gases in the form of CO_(2)CO and NOxis reduced(CO_(2)from the biomass is not included in the balance).The high content of alkaline earth metal oxides(CaO and MgO)in the mineral part of brown coal,sawdust,and their mixtures eliminates the emission of sulfur oxides and the slagging of heat-exchange surfaces during the combustion in a fluidized bed of *** optimal temperature,when the highest burnout degree of the above fuels is achieved in the combustion is 750℃.It is also shown that the increase in temperature and the content of sawdust in the composition of the fuel mixtures has a positive effect on the economic and environmental process indicators.
