Here,we designed asymmetric(m DS)and symmetrical(d DS)chiral V-shaped molecules by linking one or two dansyl groups to trans-1,2-cyclohexane diamine and investigated the solvent-regulated structural transformation and inversed circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)in the *** increasing water volume fraction(fw)in the mixed solvent of water/acetonitrile,asymmetric mDS selfassembled into hollow nanospheres and microtubes,while solid nanospheres and solid microplates were corresponding to symmetric d *** this transformation process,the emission of m DS and d DS was changed from yellow-green to blue and cyan color,which was ascribed to twisted intramolecular charge transfer(TICT)and locally excited(LE)fluorescence of V-shaped DS *** conformation of N,Ndimethyl groups with respect to naphthalene ring also led to the transformation of *** tubular and platelike structures had stronger and reversed CPL signals in comparison with spheroidal *** chiral information of DS assembly could be effective transferred to achiral Nile red via co-assembly strategy,which endowed Nile red exhibiting inversed induced CPL signal regulated by water *** work provides a method for achieving a variety of self-assembled structures with adjustable chiroptical properties.

High carrier mobility and strong fluorescence emission: Toward highly sensitive single-crystal organic phototransistors

Organic single crystals(OSCs)offer a unique combination of both individual and collective properties of the employed molecules,but it remains highly challenging to achieve OSCs with both high mobilities and strong fluorescence emissions for their potential applications in multifunctional ***,we demonstrate the design and synthesis of two novel triphenylamine-functionalized thienoacenes-based organic semiconductors,4,8-distriphenylamineethynylbenzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene(4,8-DTEBDT)and 2,6-distriphenylamineethynylbenzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene(2,6-DTEBDT),with high-mobility and strong fluorescence *** two compounds show the maximum mobilities up to 0.25 and 0.06 cm^(2) V^(-1) s^(-1),the photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQYs)of 51% and 45%,and the small binding energies down to 55.13 and 58.79 *** excellent electrical and optical properties ensured the application of 4,8-DTEBDT and 2,6-DTEBDT single crystals in ultrasensitive UV phototransistors,achieving high photoresponsivity of 9.60×105 and 6.43×10^(4) AW^(-1),and detectivity exceeding 5.68×10^(17) and 2.99×10^(16) Jones.

2′-O-methylation(Nm)is one of the most abundant RNA epigenetic modifications and plays a vital role in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene *** Nm mapping approaches are normally limited to highly abundant RNAs and have significant technical hurdles in m RNAs or relatively rare non-coding RNAs(nc RNAs).Here,we developed a new method for enriching Nm sites by using RNA exoribonuclease and periodate oxidation reactivity to eliminate 2′-hydroxylated(2′-OH)nucleosides,coupled with sequencing(Nm-REP-seq).We revealed several novel classes of Nm-containing nc RNAs as well as m RNAs in humans,mice,and *** found that some novel Nm sites are present at fixed positions in different t RNAs and are potential substrates of fibrillarin(FBL)methyltransferase mediated by sno ***,we discovered,for the first time,that Nm located at the 3′-end of various types of nc RNAs and fragments derived from *** approach precisely redefines the genome-wide distribution of Nm and provides new technologies for functional studies of Nm-mediated gene regulation.

An interval finite element method for electromagnetic problems with spatially uncertain parameters

During the manufacturing process of dielectric materials used in electromagnetic engineering, the electromagnetic parameters are often spatially uncertain due to the processing technology, environmental temperature, personal operations, etc. Traditionally,the random field model can be used to measure the spatial uncertainties, but its construction requires a large number of *** the contrary, the interval field model only needs the upper and lower bounds of the spatially uncertain parameters, which requires much less samples and furthermore is easy to understand and use for engineers. Therefore, in this paper, the interval field model is introduced to describe the spatial uncertainties of dielectric materials, and then an interval finite element method(IFEM) is proposed to calculate the upper and lower bounds of electromagnetic responses. Firstly, the interval field of the dielectric material is represented by the interval K-L expansion and inserted into the scalar Helmholtz wave equations, and thus the interval equilibrium equations are constructed according to the node-based finite element method. Secondly, a perturbation interval finite element method is developed for calculating the upper and lower bounds of electromagnetic responses such as the electric strength and magnetic strength. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by three numerical examples.

Salvianolic Acid A Protects Neonatal Cardiomyocytes against Hypoxia/Reoxygenation-Induced Injury by Preserving Mitochondrial function and Activating Akt/GSK-3β Signals

Objective: To investigate the effects of salvianolic acid A(SAA) on cardiomyocyte apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction in response to hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R) injury and to determine whether the Akt signaling pathway might play a role. Methods: An in vitro model of H/R injury was used to study outcomes on primary cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. The cardiomyocytes were treated with 12.5, 25, 50 μg/m L SAA at the beginning of hypoxia and reoxygenation, respectively. Adenosine triphospate(ATP) and reactive oxygen species(ROS) levels were assayed. Cell apoptosis was evaluated by flow cytometry and the expression of cleavedcaspase 3, Bax and Bcl-2 were detected by Western blotting. The effects of SAA on mitochondrial dysfunction were examined by determining the mitochondrial membrane potential(△Ψm) and mitochondrial permeability transition pore(m PTP), followed by the phosphorylation of Akt(p-Akt) and GSK-3β(p-GSK-3β), which were measured by Western blotting. Results: SAA significantly preserved ATP levels and reduced ROS production. Importantly, SAA markedly reduced the number of apoptotic cel s and decreased cleaved-caspase 3 expression levels, while also reducing the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2. Furthermore, SAA prevented the loss of △Ψm and inhibited the activation of m PTP. Western blotting experiments further revealed that SAA significantly increased the expression of p-Akt and p-GSK-3β, and the increase in p-GSK-3β expression was attenuated after inhibition of the Akt signaling pathway with LY294002. Conclusion: SAA has a protective effect on cardiomyocyte H/R injury; the underlying mechanism may be related to the preservation of mitochondrial function and the activation of the Akt/GSK-3β signaling pathway.

In this paper,a spectral beam combining(SBC)structure of multi-single emitters laser diode based on a polarization full feedback(PFF)external cavity is proposed and *** maximum combining efficiency is 75.6%,which leads to an output power of 38.48 W,a degree of polarization(DOP)of 99.42%,and electro-optical conversion efficiency of 35.63%under continuous wave operation at a current of 8 *** to the conventional SBC,the output power,the combining efficiency,the electro-optical conversion efficiency,and the DOP of the PFF-SBC structure present improvements of 5.73 W,11.26 percentage points,5.3 percentage points,and 7.26 percentage points,*** results show that this SBC method can achieve a high efficiency and linearly polarized laser output of SBC,thereby making the subsequent polarization beam-combining efficiency approach the limit.

A cyanostilbene-based molecule with aggregation-induced emission properties: amplified spontaneous emission, protonation effect and electroluminescence

A terpyridine-substituted cyanostilbene derivative(Z)-2-(4′-([2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridin]-4′-yl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl)-3-phenylacrylonitrile(CNSTPy) was synthesized and characterized. The compound exhibits remarkable aggregation-induced emission phenomenon and its single crystal shows a blue emission with fluorescent efficiency as high as 45%. Based on its aggregation state behavior, multiple applications towards exploring its lasing, fluorescence switching and electroluminescence properties were realized. Amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) was observed from the crystal and verified by the variable pump strip method, with a threshold value of ～1.5 m J cm^(-2). The protonation/deprotonation processes accompanied by the formation of different molecular aggregation structure result in the distinct blue and yellow emissions. Additionally, the molecule also shows a moderate electroluminescence performance.
