Enteroviruses(EVs)species A are a major public health issue in the Asia–Pacific region and cause frequent epidemics of hand,foot and mouth disease(hFMd)in *** infections are common in children;however,hFMd can also cause severe illness that affects the central nervous *** molecularly characterize EVs,a prospective hFMd virological surveillance program was performed in China between 2013 and *** swabs,rectal swabs and stool samples were collected from suspected hFMd patients at participating *** were detected using generic real-time and nested reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactions(RT-PCRs).Then,the complete VP1 regions of enterovirus A71(EV-A71),coxsackievirus A16(CVA16)and CVA6 were sequenced to analyze amino acid changes and construct a viral molecular *** the 2836 enrolled hFMd patients,2,517(89%)were EV *** most frequently detected EVs were CVA16(32.5%,819),CVA6(31.2%,785),and EV-A71(20.4%,514).The subgenogroups CVA16B1 b,CVA6d3 a and EV-A71C4 a were predominant in China and recombination was not observed in the VP1 *** analysis revealed amino acid variations at the 30,29 and 44 positions in the VP1 region of EV-A71,CVA16 and CVA6(compared to the respective prototype strains Br Cr,G10 and Gdula),***,in 21 of 24(87.5%)identified EV-A71 samples,a known amino acid substitution(d31 N)that may enhance neurovirulence was *** study provides insights about the genetic characteristics of common hFMd-associated ***,the emergence and virulence of the described mutations require further investigation.

It is essential to develop new carriers for laryngeal drug delivery in light of the lack of therapy in laryngeal related *** the inhalable micron-sized crystals ofγ-cyclodextrin metal-organic framework(Cd-MOF)was utilized as dry powder inhalers(dPIs)carrier with high fine particle fraction(FPF),it was found in this research that the encapsulation of a glycoside compound,namely,scutellarin(SCU)in Cd-MOF could significantly enhance its laryngeal ***,SCU loading into Cd-MOF was optimized by ***,a series of characterizations were carried out to elucidate the mechanisms of drug ***,the laryngeal deposition rate of Cd-MOF was 57.72±2.19%improved by SCU,about two times higher than that of Cd-MOF,when it was determined by Next Generation Impactor(NGI)at 65 L/*** a proof of concept,pharyngolaryngitis therapeutic agent dexamethasone(deX)had improved laryngeal deposition after being co-encapsulated with SCU in *** molecular simulation demonstrated the configuration of SCU in Cd-MOF and its contribution to the free energy of the SCU@Cd-MOF,which defined the enhanced laryngeal *** conclusion,the glycosides-like SCU could effectively enhance the anchoring of Cd-MOF particles to the larynx to facilitate the treatment of laryngeal diseases.

Single-shot 2 d optical imaging of transient scenes is indispensable for numerous areas of *** existing techniques,compressed optical-streaking ultrahigh-speed photography(COSUP)uses a cost-efficient design to endow ultrahigh frame rates with off-the-shelf CCd and CMOS *** far,COSUP’s application scope is limited by the long processing time and unstable image quality in existing analytical-modeling-based video *** overcome these problems,we have developed a snapshot-to-video autoencoder(S2 V-AE)—which is a deep neural network that maps a compressively recorded 2 d image to a *** S2 V-AE preserves spatiotemporal coherence in reconstructed videos and presents a flexible structure to tolerate changes in input *** in compressed ultrahigh-speed imaging,the S2 V-AE enables the development of single-shot machine-learning assisted real-time(SMART)COSUP,which features a reconstruction time of 60 ms and a large sequence depth of 100 ***-COSUP is applied to wide-field multiple-particle tracking at 20,000 frames per *** a universal computational framework,the S2 V-AE is readily adaptable to other modalities in high-dimensional compressed ***-COSUP is also expected to find wide applications in applied and fundamental sciences.

This paper models a low-power high-frequency digitally controlled synchronous rectifier （SR） OUCK converter. The converter is a hybrid system with three operation modes. digital PId controler is used. Key problems such as quantization resolution of digital pulse-width modulation （dPWM） and steady-state limit cycles of digital control switching model power supply （SMPS） are discussed, with corresponding solutions presented. Simulation of a digital control synchronous buck is performed with a fixed-point algorithm. The results show that the described approach enables high-speed dynamic performance.

dear Editor,Astroviruses(AstVs)are non-enveloped,single-stranded RNA viruses with a diameter of approximately 35 nm(Madeley and Cosgrove 1975).The genomes of AstVs range in size from 6.8 to 7.9 kb(de Benedictis et al.2011),consisting of a 5'-untranslated region(UTR),three open reading frames(ORFs),a 3'-UTR,and a poly-adenylated(polyA)tail(Pantin-Jackwood et al.2006).In 1975,AstVs were first discovered in faeces of infants(Madeley and Cosgrove 1975).Until now,a variety of animal species,including cows,sheep,pigs,dogs,deer,rats,bats,chickens,ducks,turkeys,sea lions and seals have been reported to be infected with AstVs(Tzipori et al.1981;Cattoli et al.2007;Chu et al.2008,2010;Atkins et al.2009;Toffan et al.2009;Rivera et al.2010;Guix et al.2013;Kang et al.2012;Reuter et al.2012a,2012b;Li et al.2021).Currently,AstVs comprise two genera,Mamastrovirus(MAstV)and Avastrovirus(AAstV).herein,we describe three novel AAstVs identified from dead crow *** our knowledge,this is the first report for identification of AstVs in crows.

Chaos in nonlinear dynamical systems is featured with irregular appearance and with high sensitivity to initial ***-infrared light chaos based on semiconductor lasers has been extensively studied and has enabled various ***,we report a fully-developed hyperchaos in the mid-infrared regime,which is produced from interband cascade lasers subject to the external optical *** spectrum analysis demonstrates that the chaos exhibits three positive Lyapunov ***,the chaotic signal covers a broad frequency range up to the Ghz level,which is two to three orders of magnitude broader than existed mid-infrared chaos *** interband cascade lasers produce either periodic oscillations or low-frequency fluctuations before bifurcating to *** hyperchaos source is valuable for developing long-reach secure optical communication links and remote chaotic Lidar systems,taking advantage of the high-transmission windows of the atmosphere in the mid-infrared regime.

Malaria still threatens global health seriously *** the current discoveries of antimalarials are almost totally focused on single mode-of-action inhibitors,multi-targeting inhibitors are highly desired to overcome the increasingly serious drug ***,we performed a structure-based drug design on mitochondrial respiratory chain of Plasmodium falciparum and identified an extremely potent molecule,RYL-581,which binds to multiple protein binding sites of *** simultaneously(allosteric site of type Ⅱ NAdh dehydrogenase,Q_(o) and Q_(i) sites of cytochrome bc_(1)).Antimalarials with such multiple targeting mechanism of action have never been reported ***-581 kills various drug-resistant strains in vitro and shows good solubility as well as in vivo *** structurebased strategy for designing RYL-581 from starting compound may be helpful for other medicinal chemistry projects in the future,especially for drug discovery on membrane-associated targets.

dear Editor,Chikungunya virus(ChIKV)is a mosquito-borne virus belonging to the family Togaviridae,genus Alphavirus,and was first isolated in Tanzania in the 1950s(Silva and dermody 2017;Weaver and Lecuit 2015).human infections with ChIKV typically result in a rapid-onset febrile disease,with symptoms that include fever,headache,rash,severe joint and muscle pain,as well as prolonged periods of disability in some patients(Weaver and Lecuit 2015;Silva and dermody 2017).
