The objective of this work was to determine the suitability of poultry methacompost from the 2nd methanizer of the BRIN FOUNDATION in Yaokokoroko (Bondoukou, Côte d’Ivoire), to be used in the improvement of soil fertility. The methacompost studied has a C/N ratio = 17.26, which could characterize a stable methacompost with high amending power. It also contains mineral elements Nitrogen (N) = 0.68% DM;Phosphorus (P) = 0.084% DM;Potassium (K) = 0.67% DM;Calcium (Ca) = 0.65% DM;Magnesium (Mg) = 0.15% DM. red in the standard relating to the organic amendments (NFU 44-051). The methacompost has fertilizing and amending properties and could not present any risk for vegetation and soils.

This article focuses on the study of crushing rocks that can replace clinker in low-carbon cement. A laboratory ball mill was used, varying the duration of the grinding. It has been observed that the specific surface of rocks changes in a nonlinear way with time, due to the agglomeration of particles. To this end, a mathematical model describing this evolution, which considers van der Waals forces, has been proposed. And finally, the model was adjusted regarding the experimental data. The results found show that the present model is more accurate than the classical models, because it considers the agglomeration phenomenon.

Multispectral microscopy enables information enhancement in the study of specimens because of the large spectral band used in this technique. A low cost multimode multispectral microscope using a camera and a set of quasi-monochromatic Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) ranging from ultraviolet to near-infrared wavelengths as illumination sources was constructed. But the use of a large spectral band provided by non-monochromatic sources induces variation of focal plan of the imager due to chromatic aberration which rises up the diffraction effects and blurs the images causing shadow around them. It results in discrepancies between standard spectra and extracted spectra with microscope. So we need to calibrate that instrument to be a standard one. We proceed with two types of images comparison to choose the reference wavelength for image acquisition where diffraction effect is more reduced. At each wavelength chosen as a reference, one image is well contrasted. First, we compare the thirteen well contrasted images to identify that presenting more reduced shadow. In second time, we determine the mean of the shadow size over the images from each set. The correction of the discrepancies required measurements on filters using a standard spectrometer and the microscope in transmission mode and reflection mode. To evaluate the capacity of our device to transmit information in frequency domain, its modulation transfer function is evaluated. Multivariate analysis is used to test its capacity to recognize properties of well-known sample. The wavelength 700 nm was chosen to be the reference for the image acquisition, because at this wavelength the images are well contrasted. The measurement made on the filters suggested correction coefficients in transmission mode and reflection mode. The experimental instrument recognized the microsphere’s properties and led to the extraction of the standard transmittance and reflectance spectra. The purpose of this work is to prepare better activated carbons from the shells of Ricinodendron Heudelotii by chemical activation with sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH). The process was optimized by a full factorial design (2K) based on the analysis of the external specific surface area of sixteen (16) activated carbons prepared according to the parameters of the preparation. This active analysis reveals that under the preparation conditions, good carbons are obtained for a sodium hydroxide concentration equal to 1 M, an impregnation time of 24 h and carbonization at 500˚C for 1 h. The external specific surface of this carbon is 358 m2 • g-1. The characteristics of this prepared carbon are as follows: a pH at zero point charge (pHpzc) of 8.2, a predominantly amorphous structure, a basic character and a low ash content (4.2%). It also has surface functions;the lactonic and carbonyl groups (C=O) at 1600 cm-1 and the carboxylate groups (O-H or C-O) at 1340 cm-1.

Spectral-broadening of the APOLLON PW-class laser pulses using a thin-film compression technique within the longfocal-area interaction chamber of the APOLLON laser facility is reported,demonstrating the delivery of the full energy pulse to the target interaction *** laser pulse at 7 J passing through large aperture,thin glass wafers is spectrally broadened to a bandwidth that is compatible with a 15-fs pulse,indicating also the possibility to achieve sub-10-fs pulses using 14 *** the post-compressor near the interaction makes for an economical method to produce the shortest pulses by limiting the need for high damage,broadband optics close to the final target rather than throughout the entire laser transport system.

Rechargeable magnesium batteries are identified as a promising next-generation energy storage system,but their development is hindered by the anode−electrolyte−cathode incompatibilities and passivation of magnesium metal *** avoid or alleviate these problems,the exploitation of alternative anode materials is a promising ***,we present titanium pyrophosphate(TiP_(2)O_(7))as anode materials for magnesium-ion batteries(MIBs)and investigate the effect of the crystal phase on its magnesium storage *** with the me-tastable layered TiP_(2)O_(7),the thermodynamically stable cubic TiP_(2)O_(7) displays a better rate capability of 72 mAh g^(−1) at 5000 mA g^(−1).Moreover,cubic TiP_(2)O_(7) exhibits excellent cycling stability with the capacity of 60 mAh g^(−1) after 5000 cycles at 1000 mA g^(−1),which are better than pre-viously reported Ti-based anode materials for *** situ X-ray diffraction technology confirms the single-phase magnesiumion inter-calation/deintercalation reaction mechanism of cubic TiP_(2)O_(7) with a low volume change of 3.2%.In addition,the density functional theory calcu-lation results demonstrate that three-dimensional magnesiumion diffu-sion can be allowed in cubic TiP_(2)O_(7) with a low migration energy barrier of 0.62 *** work demonstrates the promise of TiP_(2)O_(7) as high-rate and long-life anode materials for MIBs and may pave the way for further development of MIBs.

This study deals with the degradation of the quality of the water environment in the village of Abia Koumassi, due to the pollution that has risen in Abidjan. The method used in this study is based on piezometric measurements, the physico-chemical and microbiological analysis. The results were processed using statistical and hydrochemical methods. The groundwater in the village is shallow, with a piezometric average level 0.55 m. The groundwater flows from the north of the village to the south. The Water resources have a neutral pH that varies between 6.8 and 7.43. Water temperature varies from 27.7°C to 29.8°C. The Water is highly mineralized, with electrical conductivity ranging from 585 μS/cm to 1310 μS/cm. The groundwater contains high levels of nitrate (116.81 mg·L-1) greater than the WHO standard for drinking water. High levels of Metallic Trace Elements (Ni, Zn, Co, Cr, Pb, Fe, Cu and Cd) are found in the water. Microbiological analysis shows that the water contains important levels of Escherichia coli, faecal streptococci, Clostridium perfringens and thermo tolerant coliform. These microorganisms create microbiological pollution in the water from the area. The Water resources of the village are facing a recent faecal pollution of human origin. This pollution comes from anthropogenic activities taking place in the area.

The development of biofuels is driven both by concern about the greenhouse effect and by interest in the opportunities for exploitation of biomass of agricultural origin. In order to improve the yield and quality of biodiesel through modeling and optimization, several studies are in progress. In this paper, biodiesel produced from rubber seed oil in the homogeneous transesterification is studied using a Plackett-Burman experimental design, a full factorial design, a central composite design and an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) coupled with a Genetic Algorithm (GA).Variables such as temperature, stirring speed, reaction time, type of alcohol, and type of catalyst are studied to obtain the best specific gravity and kinematic viscosity. Type of alcohol and type of catalyst have the greatest effect on the two responses, with ethanol (alcohol) and sulphuric acid (catalyst) producing the best results. The specific gravity and kinematic viscosity changes recorded during the transesterification process followed the first and second order polynomial models, respectively. The ANN coupled with GA was used to optimize the two responses simultaneously. Global optimal values of specific gravity (0.883) and kinematic viscosity (6.76 cSt) were recorded when a temperature of 90°C, a stirring speed of 305 rpm, and a treatment time of 141 min were imposed.

Several works by the authors have shown that energy consumption in communication networks does not only depend on the traffic load but on all connected equipment in the network. We have contributed a new mathematical model and a new energy saving strategy with Software defined Network (SDN) technology [1]. Our Model solution is based on the Modified SPRING Protocol (MSP). In this paper, we simulated our work and compared it to that of the authors [2] and [3]. The OMNET++ simulator was used for our work. Thus, the results of the simulations gave a delay that tends to zero, a packet loss of the order of 10% and a constant jitter of 4% better than the previous authors.

Morpho-Syntactic Tagging of Text in “Baoule” Language Based on Hidden Markov Models (HMM)

The label text is a very important tool for the automatic processing of language. It is used in several applications such as morphological and syntactic text analysis, index-ing, retrieval, finished networks deterministic (in which all combinations of words that are accepted by the grammar are listed) or by statistical grammars (e.g., an n-gram in which the probabilities of sequences of n words in a specific order are given), etc. In this article, we developed a morphosyntactic labeling system language “Baoule” using hidden Markov models. This will allow us to build a tagged reference corpus and rep-resent major grammatical rules faced “Baoule” language in general. To estimate the parameters of this model, we used a training corpus manually labeled using a set of morpho-syntactic labels. We then proceed to an improvement of the system through the re-estimation procedure parameters of this model.
