Unraveling the impacts of intermolecular interaction on morphology evolution for highly efficient organic solar cells and modules

Understanding the effect of intermolecular interaction on the growth dynamic of active layers is critical for advancing organic solar cells(OSCs). However, the diverse structure of donors and acceptors makes the research challenging. Additives with customizable structures and properties could simplify this complexity. Herein, we meticulously tailor two additives of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT) and 2,5-dibromo-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(DBEDOT), possessing distinct intermolecular interaction features to elaborate the inherent relationship. It is found that varied interaction strengths can alter film formation processes. The enhanced intermolecular interaction between the DBEDOT and non-fullerene acceptor BTP-e C9-4F results in pre-aggregation and longer crystallization duration of BTP-e C9-4F, facilitating the formation of films with compact molecular packing and decent phase separation. Thus, exciton dissociation and charge transport become more efficient. Finally, devices processed with DBEDOT exhibit a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 19.35% in small-area OSCs and 14.11% in bladecoated 5 cm × 5 cm organic solar mini-modules. Especially, OSCs can maintain 80% of their initial efficiency after continuous annealing at 85 °C for over 2,100 h.

One-step synthesis of antimony-doped tin dioxide nanocrystallites and their property

Antimony-doped tin dioxide(ATO) nanoparticles with primary diameter in the range of 9-10 nm were rapidly synthesized via a novel combustion technique,starting with antimony trichloride and tin tetrachloride as metal sources and self-assembly compounds as fuels. The combustion phenomena and characteristics of products were controlled by assembling components in fuel compounds according to appropriate molar ratio. The as-synthesized products were characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM and XPS,respectively. The electrical conductivity was evaluated through measuring the antistatic property of polyester fiber treated by the as-synthesized products. The results show that a mild combustion phenomena without release of smoke can be taken on and perfect azury rutile ATO crystal with complete substitution can be formed rapidly under the appropriate synthetic conditions. The antistatic property of the polyester fiber treated by the as-synthesized ATO products is enhanced remarkably. The triboelectricity voltage below 1.0 kV,half life below 1.0 s and surface resistance below 1.0×106 -can be attained.

Study on Permeability of 2.5D Woven Reinforcement Materials with Fractal Theory

Permeability is one of the key issues in the design of molds and in the molding process for composite manufacture. As a disordered fibrous assembly, 2.5- dimension （2.5 D） woven reinforcement materials have complex structure. It poses a challenge to the study of pore structure and the establishment of the theoretical permeability model. Toward addressing this problem, a powerful tool called fractal theory emerged. According to the analysis of 2.5 D woven reinforcement material stmcture using fractal theory, it is found that the structure has an obvious fractal character. Therefore, a permeability fractal model of 2.5D woven reinforcement material was established by cormbining the Hagen-Poiseulle equation with Darcy law according to the capillary vessel fractal model in this paper. The permeability was expressed as a function of the fractal dimension and microstructure parameter of the porous media in this model. The theoretical model is verified by experimental tests and the measurement data are in good agreement with the results obtained from the fractal medel .

The developments of Internet and e-commerce provide a new market place to businessman to sell their products and allow people to buy products via Internet as well as to create a new shopping media to consumers. The study aims to investigate the factors affecting consumers' purchase decision via Internet and how product characteristics affect cyber shopping in Hong Kong. The study has revealed that the security of personal data,delivery time, product brand and price were the major concerns for developing cyber market. For marketing apparel products, brand loyalty becomes very important since consumers' judging confidence on the products can be increased in terms of fitting standards and quality aspects.

Effect of Flats Speed on Card Sliver Quality

The effect of flats speed,especially higher flats speed,on card sliver quality was *** sliver produced at seven flats speeds was tested with Uster *** results show that over-high flats speed is not beneficial to removing impurities and neps of card *** flats speed from 450 to 550 mm/min is the best for removing impurity;while a speed of 450 or 650 mm/min is the best for removing neps of card *** 1 050 mm/min flats speed is the best for removing short ***,the flats speed of 450 mm/min is the most advantageous to improve the comprehensive quality of card *** is also found that inst.lling back-web-cleaner is very helpful to remove *** is also favorable to reduce short fibers,thus increasing the average *** it is not helpful to reduce impurities in the sliver.

A Strategic Study of Establishing the Industrial Needs in Pattern Design and Technology in China's Mainland

Pattern design and technology play a very important role in the garment industry. In order to improve the level of pattern making and design of the garment industry, a survey was conducted to investigate the industrial needs in pattern design and technology in China's Mainland. The data were collected from the employers and employees from the garment industry and students in the major of fashion and clothing studies. It indicated that there was a gap between the employer and employee, especially the requirements of the industrial needs and the course contents covered by the tertiary schools. The employers expected to recruit more experienced pattern designers, at the same time, they were not reluctant to hire fresh graduates and spent more resources on the training of employees. The students knew little about their employment situation of the garment industry, spent too little time on the course study and learned too little practical skills in pattern design. They could not make use of the knowledge which prevented them from being employed by the garment industry. Efforts should be taken by both the tertiary schools and the garment industry. The students should be aspirated towards the profession of pattern cutters and the syllabuses of pattern making should be more practical and industrial orientated. The solution might benefit the garment industry a lot in a long run.

Innovative Principle and Method for Digital Jacquard Fabric Designing

Digital jacquard fabric has its design concept and method directly borrowed from computer images and color modes, which enabled creation of jacquard fabric design that is far beyond what freehand patterns can express. In this paper, the principles of digital jacquard fabric design were classified into two parts, colorless mode and colorful mode, and an innovative layered combination design method has been suggested contenting with this new design concept, by which digital jacquard fabric can be designed from colorless single-layer structure to colorful compound structure. As a result, designed colorless and colorful jacquard fabrics are capable of expressing picturesque and photo-realistic effects with a mega level color number on face of fabric. It is envisaged that the results of the study are of tremendous benefit to the creation of new jacquard fabric with an inimitable digital effect and this creation pose no problem in mass production.

Assessing Gray Scale Grades for Color Change of Dyed Fabrics via Image Processing Technology

Gray scale grades for color change of dyed fabrics are assessed via image processing *** images of groups of specimens are obtained,cropped,and saved as JPEG *** between gray scale grades for color change and the corresponding color differences calculated via image processing technology are investigated,compared with those obtained from high accurate computer color matching *** show that the new method is acceptable with an accuracy of 92.0% when the grading errors are of not more than one grade.
