Hydrocarbon indication in Rio Bonito Formation sandstone:Implication for CO_(2)storage in são Paulo,Brazil

são Paulo state has witnessed CO_(2)storage-based investigations considering the availability of suitable geologic structures and proximity to primary CO_(2)source sinks related to bioenergy and carbon capture and storage(BECCs)*** current study presents the hydrocarbon viability evaluations and CO_(2)storage prospects,focusing on the sandstone units of the Rio Bonito *** objective is to apply petrophysical evaluations with geochemical inputs in predicting future hydrocarbon(gas)production to boost CO_(2)storage within the study *** study used data from eleven wells with associated wireline logs(gamma ray,resistivity,density,neutron,and sonic)to predict potential hydrocarbon accumulation and fluid mobility in the investigated *** samples(shale and carbonate)obtained from depths>200 m within the study location have shown bitumen *** geochemistry data of the Rio Bonito Formation shale beds suggest they are potential hydrocarbon source rocks and could have contributed to the gas accumulations within the sandstone *** drilled well data,e.g.,CB-1-sP and TI-1-sP,show hydrocarbon(gas)presence based on the typical resistivity and the combined neutron-density responses at depths up to 3400 m,indicating the possibility of other hydrocarbon members apart from the heavy oil(bitumen)observed from the near-surface rocks *** the three-dimensional(3-D)model,the free fluid indicator(FFI)is more significant towards the southwest and southeast of the area with deeper depths of occurrence,indicating portions with reasonable hydrocarbon recovery rates and good prospects for CO_(2)injection,circulation and permanent ***,future studies based on contemporary datasets are required to establish the hydrocarbon viability further,foster gas production events,and enhance CO_(2)storage possibilities within the region.

Mechanism of Endogenous Peptide PDYBX1 and Precursor Protein YBX1 in Hirschsprung’s Disease

Endogenous peptides,bioactive agents with a small molecular weight and outstanding absorbability,regulate various cellular processes and ***,their role in the occurrence of Hirschsprung’s disease(HsCR)remains ***,we found that the expression of an endogenous peptide derived from YBX1(termed PDYBX1 in this study)was upregulated in the aganglionic colonic tissue of HsCR patients,whereas its precursor protein YBX1 was *** shown by Transwell and cytoskeleton staining assays,silencing YBX1 inhibited the migration of enteric neural cells,and this effect was partially reversed after treatment with ***,immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence revealed that ERK2 bound to YBX1 and *** of YBX1 blocked the ERK1/2 pathway,but upregulation of PDYBX1 counteracted this effect by binding to ERK2,thereby promoting cell migration and *** together,the endogenous peptide PDYBX1 may partially alleviate the inhibition of the ERK1/2 pathway caused by the downregulation of its precursor protein YBX1 to antagonize the impairment of enteric neural ***1 may be exploited to design a novel potential therapeutic agent for HsCR.

Morphological and molecular evidence for natural hybridization between sorbus pohuashanensis and s. discolor (Rosaceae)

In overlapping distribution areas of sorbus pohuashanensis and *** in North China(Mount Tuoliang,Mount Xiling and Mount Baihua),sorbus indi-viduals were found with pink fruit,which have never been recorded for the flora of *** morphological characters combined with four chloroplast DNA markers and internal transcribed spacer(ITs)were used to analyze the origin of the sorbus individuals with pink fruits and their relationship to *** and ***,sDA and one-way(taxon)ANOVA of morphological characters provided convincing evidence of the hybrid ori-gin of sorbus individuals with pink fruits based on a novel morphological character and many intermediate *** analysis based on four cpDNA markers showed that either *** or *** were maternal parents of sorbus individuals with pink ***-ence of the position of sorbus individuals with pink fruits between cpDNA and ITs in cluster trees supported by DNA sequence comparative analysis,implying former hybridiza-tion events between *** and ***-tiple hybridization events between *** and *** might have contributed to the generation of sorbus individuals with pink *** study has provided insights into hybridization between species of the same genus in sympatric areas,which is of great significance for the study of interspecific hybridization.

Porous s-doped carbon nitride foam with accelerated charge dynamics for synchronous photocatalytic hydrogen production and highly selective oxidation of amines

Constructing the efficacious and applicable bifunctional electrocatalysts and establishing out the mechanisms of organic electro-oxidation by replacing anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER) are critical to the development of electrochemicallydriven technologies for efficient hydrogen production and avoid CO_(2) emission. Herein, the hetero-nanocrystals between monodispersed Pt(~ 2 nm) and Ni_(3)s_(2)(~ 9.6 nm) are constructed as active electrocatalysts through interfacial electronic modulation, which exhibit superior bi-functional activities for methanol selective oxidation and H_(2) generation. The experimental and theoretical studies reveal that the asymmetrical charge distribution at Pt–Ni_(3)s_(2) could be modulated by the electronic interaction at the interface of dual-monodispersed heterojunctions, which thus promote the adsorption/desorption of the chemical intermediates at the interface. As a result, the selective conversion from CH_(3)OH to formate is accomplished at very low potentials(1.45 V) to attain 100 m A cm^(-2) with high electronic utilization rate(~ 98%) and without CO_(2) emission. Meanwhile, the Pt–Ni_(3)s_(2) can simultaneously exhibit a broad potential window with outstanding stability and large current densities for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) at the cathode. Further, the excellent bi-functional performance is also indicated in the coupled methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)//HER reactor by only requiring a cell voltage of 1.60 V to achieve a current density of 50 m A cm^(-2) with good reusability.

Dynamic control of a firm’s process innovation with knowledge accumulation in a vertically differentiated monopoly

Evaluating serum CXCL12,sCD22,Lp-PLA2 levels and ratios as biomarkers for diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease

BACKGROUND Grasping the underlying mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease(AD)is still a work in progress,and existing diagnostic techniques encounter various ***,the discovery of dependable biomarkers is essential for early detection,tracking the disease's advancement,and steering treatment *** To explore the diagnostic potential of serum CXCL12,sCD22,Lp-PLA2,and their ratios in AD,aiming to enhance early detection and inform targeted treatment *** The study was conducted in Dongying people's Hospital from January 2021 to December *** included 60 AD patients(AD group)and 60 healthy people(control group).Using a prospective case-control design,the levels of CXCL12,sCD22 and Lp-PLA2 and their ratios were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit in the diagnosis of *** differences between the two groups were analyzed by statistical methods,and the corresponding ratio was constructed to improve the specificity and sensitivity of *** serum CXCL12 levels were higher in the AD group(47.2±8.5 ng/mL)than the control group(32.8±5.7 ng/mL,PsCD22 levels were lower(14.3±2.1 ng/mL vs 18.9±3.4 ng/mL,Ps were also higher in the AD group(112.5±20.6 ng/mL vs 89.7±15.2 ng/mL,Psignificant differences were noted in CXCL12/sCD22(3.3 vs 1.7,PsCD22 ratios(8.0 vs 5.2,Pstic analysis confirmed high sensitivity and specificity of these markers and their ratios in distinguishing AD,with area under the curves ranging from CONCLUsION serum CXCL12 and Lp-PLA2 levels were significantly increased,while sCD22 were significantly decreased,as well as increases in the ratios of CXCL12/sCD22 and Lp-PLA2/sCD22,are closely related to the onset of *** biomarkers and their ratios can be used as potential diagnostic indicators for AD,providing an important clinical reference for early intervention and treatment.

superhydrophobic surface(sHs) has been well developed, as sHs renders the property of minimizing the water/solid contact interface. Water droplets deposited onto sHs with contact angles exceeding 150°, allow them to retain spherical shapes, and the low adhesion of sHs facilitates easy droplet collection when tilting the substrate. These characteristics make sHs suitable for a wide range of applications. One particularly promising application is the fabrication of microsphere and supraparticle materials. sHs offers a distinct advantage as a universal platform capable of providing customized services for a variety of microspheres and supraparticles. In this review, an overview of the strategies for fabricating microspheres and supraparticles with the aid of sHs, including cross-linking process, polymer melting,and droplet template evaporation methods, is first presented. Then, the applications of microspheres and supraparticles formed onto sHs are discussed in detail, for example, fabricating photonic devices with controllable structures and tunable structural colors, acting as catalysts with emerging or synergetic properties, being integrated into the biomedical field to construct the devices with different medicinal purposes, being utilized for inducing protein crystallization and detecting trace amounts of analytes. Finally,the perspective on future developments involved with this research field is given, along with some obstacles and opportunities.
