Introduction:A retrospective study based on sentinel surveillance was conducted in 10 provinciallevel administrative divisions(PLADs)in China to enhance the understanding of the epidemiological characteristics of human parainfluenza viruses(HPIVs).Methods:From January 2019 to June 2023,respiratory specimens were collected from individuals with acute respiratory infections(ARIs)and screened for four HPIVs serotypes and other common respiratory viruses using multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).This study analyzed the association of HPIVs infections with seasonal patterns,geographical distribution,demographic profiles,clinical features,and co-infection ***:During the study period,a total of 12,866 ARIs were *** overall detection rate of HPIVs was 6.15%,varying from 5.04%in 2022 to 9.70%in *** median age of HPIVs-infected patients was 3 ***2 was more prevalent among individuals aged 5–17 years(42.57%),while HPIV4 was more common in those over 65 years(12.24%).HPIV3(54.16%)and HPIV1(27.18%)were the predominant serotypes,and their prevalence exhibited significant seasonal fluctuations postcoronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** peak of HPIV3 shifted three months later in 2020 compared to 2019 and returned to a summer peak *** peaks of HPIV1 were observed in 2021 following the peak of ***,coinfections were frequent in HPIVs cases(overall rate:22.12%),with human rhinovirus being the most common co-infecting ***:The prevalence of HPIVs in China was predominantly due to HPIV3 and HPIV1,and their seasonal patterns were altered by pandemic ***,continuous surveillance of HPIVs is essential.

In this paper, nonsingular prescribed-time control is studied based on periodic delayed sliding mode surfaces. Different from the existing sliding mode control, where either singularity problems may appear or the convergence time depends on the initial state, the proposed sliding mode control approaches can achieve prescribed-time convergence without singularity. The proposed nonsingular sliding mode control approaches can be applied to both second-order and high-order nonlinear systems with prescribed-time convergence. As applications of the proposed sliding mode control approaches, the control of hypersonic vehicle systems is revisited. Numerical simulations on the nonlinear model of the hypersonic vehicle system show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

The food additive titanium dioxide is commonly utilized to enhance the appearance and flavor of food ***,this substance has been linked to gastrointestinal *** aim of this study was to investigate the impact of dietary exposure of titanium dioxide E171 on Listeria monocytogenes infection in *** were mainly divided into the control,LM group(*** infection),and E171+LM groups(E171 supplementation before *** infection).Pre-exposure to E171 resulted in increased bacterial counts in the liver,spleen,ileum,colon,mesenteric lymph nodes,and feces of mice after *** ***,E171 exposure increased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines while attenuating the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in mice infected with ***,mice in the E171+LM group exhibited considerably more severe colonic inflammation and worse intestinal barrier function than mice in the LM *** 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed a shift in the composition of the gut microbiota of mice in the E171+LM group,characterized by a decrease in the relative abundance of Firmicutes and a decrease in the Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes *** levels of acetate,butyrate,and isobutyrate were markedly decreased within the cecum of mice in the E171+LM group in comparison to mice in the LM *** conclusion,these results suggest that E171 exposure could exacerbate *** infection in mice,which may provide useful information for future risk assessment of this commonly used food additive.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic in 2019,the public health system has faced enormous *** the individuals who test positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is a key step for interrupting chains of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and reducing COVID-19-associated *** the increasing of asymptomatic infections,it is difficult to track asymptomatic infections through epidemiological surveys and virus whole-genome ***,due to the cross-reactivity of neutralizing antibodies produced by multiple virus subtypes,neutralizing antibody detection cannot be used to determine whether an individual has a history of infection with a specific subtype of *** recruited 4 human leukocyte antigen A2(HLA-A2)infections,15 individuals who received three doses of inactivated vaccines,and 30 breakthrough infections after vaccination and discussed a case-tracking approach to detect epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells in the peripheral blood of close contacts,including accurate HLA typing based on ribonucleic acid(RNA)-sequencing and flow cytometry data and the comparison and characterization of SARS-CoV-2 HLA-A2 and HLA-A24 epitope-specific CD8^(+)T *** individuals who received three doses of inactivated vaccine,we observed that the CD8^(+)T cell specificity for ancestral epitopes was significantly higher than for mutated epitopes,and the fold change of CD8^(+)T cells corresponding to mutated epitopes relative to ancestral epitopes was less than *** enzyme-linked immunospot(ELISpot)results further validate this *** study forms a“method for understanding the infection history of SARS-CoV-2 subtypes based on the proportion of epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells in the peripheral blood of subjects”,covering up to 46%of the population,including HLA-A2+and HLA-A24+donors,providing a novel method for SARS-CoV-2 infected case tracing.

This article studies the adaptive optimal output regulation problem for a class of interconnected singularly perturbed systems(SPSs) with unknown dynamics based on reinforcement learning(RL).Taking into account the slow and fast characteristics among system states,the interconnected SPS is decomposed into the slow time-scale dynamics and the fast timescale dynamics through singular perturbation *** the fast time-scale dynamics with interconnections,we devise a decentralized optimal control strategy by selecting appropriate weight matrices in the cost *** the slow time-scale dynamics with unknown system parameters,an off-policy RL algorithm with convergence guarantee is given to learn the optimal control strategy in terms of measurement *** combining the slow and fast controllers,we establish the composite decentralized adaptive optimal output regulator,and rigorously analyze the stability and optimality of the closed-loop *** proposed decomposition design not only bypasses the numerical stiffness but also alleviates the *** efficacy of the proposed methodology is validated by a load-frequency control application of a two-area power system.

Background:Antiretroviral therapy(ART)was often associated with dyslipidemia among human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)*** study aimed to assess treatment-naïve adult male patients with HIV/AIDS who initiated ART with either co-formulated bictegravir,emtricitabine,and tenofovir alafenamide(BIC/FTC/TAF)or lamivudine,efavirenz,and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(3TC+EFV+TDF),monitoring at weeks 4,12,24,and ***:A case-control retrospective study was *** newly diagnosed HIV-infected individuals attending the sexual transmission disease(STD)/AIDS clinic of Beijing Youan Hospital,Capital Medical University,from January to December *** patients were divided into BIC/FTC/TAF group or 3TC+EFV+TDF ***-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG),and total cholesterol(TC)at different time points over 48 weeks between two groups were compared.A multivariate Cox regression model was used to identify relevant influencing factors for the population at high risk of increased ***:A total of 870 participants,with 510 in BIC/FTC/TAF group and 360 in 3TC+EFV+TDF *** were no statistically significant differences in median age,baseline CD4/CD8 ratio,median body mass index(BMI)between the two *** both two groups,levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C were higher at 4 weeks,12 weeks,and 24 weeks of treatment(all P0.05).In addition,the differences in average changes of the level of TG,TC,HDL-C,and LDL-C from weeks 4,12,24,and 48 to baseline between two groups were not statistically significant(all P>0.05).Multivariate Cox proportional risk model analysis showed that initiating ART with HIV RNA≥10^(5)copies/mL(compared with<10^(5)copies/mL)was associated with an increased risk of elevated LDL-C(hazard ratio=1.26,95%confidence interval:1.07-1.48,
