Single-atom catalysts（SACs） hold great promise in addressing the sluggish kinetics of the sulfur reduction reaction（SRR） in lithium-sulfur（Li-S） batteries for their unique catalytic activity and maximum atom *** these SACs must be dispersed on solid substrates,the underlying support is usually limited to carbon materials that have a poor ability to modulate the coordination environment and electronic structures of single atoms,and consequently their catalytic activity toward the SRR is *** we propose two-dimensional（2D） graphene/electride heterostructu res as substrates to enhance the catalytic activities of SACs for Li-S batteries.2D electrides featuring the anionic electron gas on their surface enable efficient electron transfer to SACs,which alters their electronic structures,resulting in the shifts of the d orbital and Fermi *** unique electronic structure decreases the filling of antibonding states such that the bonding with adsorbates at active sites is *** demonstrate the enhanced catalytic performance of SACs in terms of the Gibbs free energy of SRR and Li2S *** addition,a universal descriptor for the rapid screening of SACs is established by a linear regression fitting *** work provides a new design strategy to modulate SAC activity through electrides for Li-S batteries.

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar Craton including the oldest(~3.3 Ga)Sargur group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,CaO,strongly enriched Cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),Sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(UCC).The UCC normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/Sm)UCC=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(Gd/Yb)_(UCC)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by Cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** Sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of Cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the Sargur group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar Craton.

In this paper, an interval estimation scheme is developed for delayed switched positive systems（DSPS） with mode-dependent average dwell time switching. A lossless zonotopic estimation approach is proposed for the delayed intersection zonotope with the positive generator matrix. First, considering the existence of asynchronism between the system mode and the correction matrix mode, the mismatched intersection zonotope is constructed for DSPS to verify the consistency between the system model and ***, by utilizing the introduced radius definitions, the ?∞performance is addressed to optimize the size of delayed intersection zonotopes. Subsequently, we present a joint-design approach of switching signals and the mode-dependent correction matrix by constructing positive generator matrix-based delayed radius functions. Furthermore, guaranteed nonnegative state bounds are derived for the considered DSPS based on the proposed lossless zonotopic estimation criteria. Finally, detailed simulations are conducted to validate the feasibility and superiority of the developed methods.

In_(2)O_(3)is an effective electrocatalyst to convert CO_(2)to formic acid(HCOOH),but its inherent poor electrical conductivity limits the efficient charge transfer during the ***,the tendency of In_(2)O_(3)particles to agglomerate during synthesis further limits the exposure of active *** we address these issues by leveraging the template effect of graphene oxide and employing InBDC as a self-sacrificing template for the pyrolysis synthesis of In_(2)O_(3)@*** resulting In_(2)O_(3)@C/rGO-600 material features In_(2)O_(3)@C nanocubes uniformly anchored on a support of reduced graphene oxide(rGO),significantly enhancing the active sites *** conductive rGO network facilitates charge transfer during electrocatalysis,and the presence of oxygen vacancies generated during pyrolysis,combined with the strong electron-donating ability of rGO,enhances the adsorption and activation of CO_(2).In performance evaluation,In_(2)O_(3)@C/rGO-600 exhibits a remarkable HCOOH Faradaic efficiency exceeding 94.0%over a broad potential window of−0.7 to−1.0 V(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)),with the highest value of 97.9%at−0.9 V(***)in a ***,the material demonstrates an excellent cathodic energy efficiency of 71.6%at−0.7 V(***).The study underscores the efficacy of uniformly anchoring metal oxide nanoparticles onto rGO for enhancing the electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction performance of materials.

Intra-tumor heterogeneity is now arguably one of the most-studied topics in tumor biology,as it represents a major obstacle to effective cancer *** tumor cells are highly diverse at genetic,epigenetic,and phenotypic levels,intra-tumor heterogeneity can be assumed as an important contributing factor to the nullification of chemotherapeutic effects,and recurrence of the *** on the role of heterogeneous subpopulations of cancer cells with varying cell-cycle dynamics and behavior during cancer progression and treatment;herein,we aim to establish a comprehensive definition for adaptation of neoplastic cells against *** discuss two parallel and yet distinct subpopulations of tumor cells that play pivotal roles in reducing the effects of chemotherapy:"resistant"and"tolerant"***,this review also highlights the impact of the quiescent phase of the cell cycle as a survival mechanism for cancer *** understanding the mechanisms under-lying the quiescence,it provides an insightful perspective on cancer stem cells(CsCs)and their dual and intertwined functions based on their cell cycle state in response to ***-over,CSCs,epithelial-mesenchymal transformed cells,circulating tumor cells(CTCs),and disseminated tumor cells(DTCs),which are mostly in a quiescent state of the cell cycle are proved to have multiple biological links and can be implicated in our viewpoint of cell cycle heterogeneity in ***,increasing our knowledge of cell cycle heterogeneity is a key to identifying new therapeutic solutions,and this emerging concept may provide us with new opportunities to prevent the dreadful cancer recurrence.

Millimeter-wave (mmWave) is capable of achieving gigabit/second communication capacity and centimeter-level sensing accuracy and has become one of the main frequency bands for integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) research. Hybrid beamforming techniques have attracted much attention for solving the high path loss of mmWave and further reducing the hardware cost of the system. However, the related studies based on multicarrier and fully-connected hybrid architectures are still limited. For this reason,this paper investigates the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based mmWave fully-connected hybrid architecture ISAC system to form a stable communication beam and dynamically varying sensing beam. In order to realize the aforementioned multifunctional beams, the hybrid beamformer design problem based on weighted error minimization of multicarrier is proposed and solved efficiently using the penalty dual decomposition (PDD) algorithm. Meanwhile, based on the echo model, the multicarrier multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm for target angle of arrival estimation and the two-dimensional discrete Fourier transform(2D-DFT)algorithm for distance and velocity estimation are proposed, respectively. Numerical simulation results show that by adjusting the weighting factor,a flexible trade-off can be formed between the communication spectrum efficiency and the sensing accuracy error.

Pulverizing is an essential unit operation in co-firing biomass with *** are only compatible with pellet forms of fibrous biomass materials and crush them down to their original forming particle *** is why the data on the size distribution of the particles forming a biomass pellet is crucial to achieving optimum combustion *** current study determines the internal particle size distribution of pellets after wet disintegration,following Iso 17830 standard,and aims to suggest improvements to the mentioned standard based on new measured *** were carried out on white wood pellets(no bark)and brown wood pellets containing bark at four water temperatures:20,40,60,and 95℃,with or without *** particle size distribution of the pre-pelletizer wood particles was also measured and compared with particles in the formed *** water temperature of 20℃ was found to be adequate for the complete disintegration of pellets,and no mechanical stirring was *** 30% of particles in the disintegrated pellets were 0.5-1.0 *** changes the particle size distribution to smaller *** disintegrated bark pellets contained more fines than white pellets.

Oxygen vacancy engineering for tuning the catalytic activity of LaCoO_(3) perovskite

Herein, we attempted to engineer oxygen vacancies on the surface of LaCoO_(3) perovskite through simple post-treatments(acid or reductive thermal treatments). Acid treatment induces oxygen vacancies through the selective etching of the La cations, whereas thermal treatment in a reducing atmosphere generates oxygen vacancies by directly removing lattice oxygen. The characterization results confirm that the number of surface oxygen vacancies, which are crucial in various catalytic oxidation reactions,considerably increases in the LaCoO_(3) catalysts treated with acid or reducing gas. Acid treatment enriches the oxygen vacancies while maintaining the structure of the LaCoO_(3) catalysts, which can not be achieved through reductive thermal treatment. Therefore, the acid treatment is considered a promising technique for oxygen vacancy engineering of perovskite catalysts for tuning their catalytic activities. Furthermore,the catalytic activities of the posttreated LaCoO_(3) catalysts for CO oxidation were evaluated and are noted to be considerably better than those of the pristine LaCoO_(3) catalyst due to their abundant oxygen vacancies. Consequently, we conclude that the oxygen vacancies of perovskite catalysts can be effectively engineered via two simple methods and play a significant role in CO oxidation.

Microstructure and Shear Properties Evolution of Minor Fe-Doped SAC/Cu Substrate Solder Joint under Isothermal Aging

Different amounts of Fe(0.005,0.01,0.03,0.05,and 0.07 wt%)were added to SAC305 to study the shear behavior damage of Fe-doped SAC solder joints under thermal loading(170℃,holding time of 0,250,500,and 750 h).The results show that during isothermal aging at 170℃,the average shear force of all solder joints decreases with increasing aging time,while the average fracture energy first increases and then decreases,reaching a maximum at 500 *** Fe doping could both increase shear forces and related fracture energy,with the optimum Fe doping amount being 0.03 wt%within the entire aging *** is because the doping Fe reduces the undercooling of the SAC305 alloy,resulting in the microstructure refining of solder *** in turn causes the microstructure changing from network structure(SAC305 joint:eutectic network+β-Sn)to a single matrix structure(0.03Fe-doped SAC305 joint:β-Sn matrix+small compound particles).Specifically,Fe atoms can replace some Cu in Cu_(6)Sn_(5)(both inside the solder joint and at the interface),and then form(Cu,Fe)_(6)Sn_(5) compounds,resulting in an increase in the elastic modulus and nanohardness of the ***,the growth of Cu_(6)Sn_(5) and Cu_(3)Sn intermetallic compounds(IMC)layer are inhibited by Fe doping even after the aging time prolonging,and Fe aggregates near the interface compound to form FeSn_(2).This study is of great significance for controlling the growth of interfacial compounds,stabilizing the microstructures,and providing strengthening strategy for solder joint alloy design.
