Future 6G networks will integrate non-terrestrial communication with mobile edge computing to enable wide-area edge intelligence, providing ubiquitous communication and computation services for everyone and everything. In this paper, we introduce the intelligent cloud-edge-device architecture into low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite-supported remote Internet of Things(IoT) networks to facilitate latency-sensitive and compute-intensive IoT applications. However, the dynamic spatio-temporal characteristics inherent in LEO satellite networks, such as the high volatility of task traffic and the high mobility of space nodes, pose severe challenges. For efficient task execution, we investigate the joint optimization of cross-region task offloading and cross-domain resource allocation, and innovatively propose a spatio-temporal attention-based proximal policy optimization(STA-PPO) algorithm. Specifically, the temporal attention-based actor network analyzes the timing dependencies of task arrival and makes time-variant decisions. Simultaneously, the spatial attention-based critic network captures the spatial variations of satellite motion and evaluates the topology-related value. We verify the effectiveness of the cloud-edge-device collaboration through extensive simulations. Numerical results demonstrate that the STA-PPO algorithm outperforms benchmarks, showing the lowest system delay and the highest link throughput.

Temporal knowledge graph(TKG) reasoning, has seen widespread use for modeling real-world events, particularly in extrapolation settings. Nevertheless, most previous studies are embedded models, which require both entity and relation embedding to make predictions, ignoring the semantic correlations among different entities and relations within the same timestamp. This can lead to random and nonsensical predictions when unseen entities or relations occur. Furthermore, many existing models exhibit limitations in handling highly correlated historical facts with extensive temporal depth. They often either overlook such facts or overly accentuate the relationships between recurring past occurrences and their current counterparts. Due to the dynamic nature of TKG, effectively capturing the evolving semantics between different timestamps can be *** address these shortcomings, we propose the recurrent semantic evidenceaware graph neural network(RE-SEGNN), a novel graph neural network that can learn the semantics of entities and relations simultaneously. For the former challenge, our model can predict a possible answer to missing quadruples based on semantics when facing unseen entities or relations. For the latter problem, based on an obvious established force, both the recency and frequency of semantic history tend to confer a higher reference value for the current. We use the Hawkes process to compute the semantic trend, which allows the semantics of recent facts to gain more attention than those of distant facts. Experimental results show that RE-SEGNN outperforms all SOTA models in entity prediction on 6 widely used datasets, and 5 datasets in relation prediction. Furthermore, the case study shows how our model can deal with unseen entities and relations.

This study numerically demonstrates the effects of partial band gaps on the negative refraction properties of sonic crystal. The partial band gap appearing at the second band edge leads to the efficient transmissions of scattered wave envelopes in the transverse directions inside triangular lattice sonic crystal, and therefore enhances the refraction property of sonic crystal. Numerical simulation results indicate a diagonal guidance of coupled scattered wave envelopes inside crystal structure at the partial band gap frequencies and then output waves are restored in the vicinity of the output interface of sonic crystal by combining phase coherent scattered waves according to Huygens＇ principles. This mechanism leads to two operations for wavefront engineering： one is spatial wavefront shifting operation and the other is convex-concave wavefront inversion operation. The effects of this mechanism on the negative refraction and wave focalization are investigated by using the finite difference time domain （FDTD） simulations. This study contributes to a better understanding of negative refraction and wave focusing mechanisms at the band edge frequencies, and shows the applications of the slab comer beam splitting and SC-air multilayer acoustic system.

Exploring the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of vegetation changes in subtropical humid karst region under CO2 fertilization

Terrestrial ecosystems heavily depend on vegetation,which responds to carbon dioxide （CO2） fertilization in hot and humid *** subtropical humid karst region is a hot and humid region;whether and to what extent CO2fertilization affects vegetation changes in such regions remains *** this study,we investigated the degree to which CO2fertilization influences vegetation changes,along with their spatial and temporal differences,in the subtropical humid karst region using time-lag effect analysis,a random forest model,and multiple regression *** showed that CO2fertilization plays an important role in vegetation changes,exhibiting clear spatial variations across different geomorphological zones,with its degree of influence ranging mainly between 11%and 25%.The highest contribution of CO2fertilization was observed in the karst basin and non-karstic region,whereas the lowest contribution was found in the karst plateau *** studies have primarily attributed vegetation changes in subtropical humid karst region to ecological engineering,leading to an overestimation of its contribution to these *** findings of this study enhance the understanding of the mechanism of vegetation changes in humid karst region and provide theoretical and practical insights for ecological and environmental protection in these regions.

Focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH) of the liver is a benign lesion occurring in 0.6%-3% of the general population that probably reflects a local hyperplastic response of hepatocytes to a vascular abnormality. Most lesions are diagnosed incidentally and the natural history of the disease remains largely unknown. It has been shown that most FNH remain stable, or even regress, over a long follow-up period. We present a patient with FNH of the liver who was followed up for 7 years. A 26-yearold woman with a 5-year history of oral contraceptive use was referred to our hospital in February 2005 for further examination of a liver tumour. The diagnosis of FNH was made using magnetic resonance(MR) imaging with hepatospecific contrast media; this technique allows a correct diagnosis, in particular distinguishing FNH from hepatic adenoma, avoiding an invasive procedure such as the lesion biopsy. After 7-year from the diagnosis, we observed the complete spontaneous regression of the lesion by enhanced MR scanning. In this patient, discontinuation of oral contraceptive use and two childbirths may have influenced the natural history of FNH. To our knowledge, in the English literature there is no report illustrating a complete regression of giant FNH but only studies of decreasing in size. The present case suggests that a young patient with giant FNH should be managed conservatively rather than by resection, because FNH has the potential for spontaneous regression.

In order to access remote reserve areas, some *** mines have to maintain aged underground entries for a great ***, high humidity, warm temperature, and time dependent deterioration can cause progressive roof deterioration and unexpected roof falls, and pose a great challenge to ground control *** an active belt structure in place and limited space, re-bolting becomes very costly, less effective,and, sometimes, impractical and *** gain long-term entry stability and serviceability, operators typically rehabilitate the aged belt entries by installing standing steel set *** the last several years,Keystone Mining services, LLC,(KMS) has assisted many coal mines with their belt entry rehabilitation projects, evaluated the ground condition of various aged belt entries, and designed different standing steel set support *** paper presents a case study of a large-scale roof fall that occurred at an aged belt entry in a mine located in an eastern coalfield, analyzes root causes of excessive deformation of square sets that were installed in an adjacent entry, evaluates the adequacy of an existing rehabilitation square set, and develops remedial recommendations for future rehabilitation *** on the case study, the paper outlines design guidelines for rehabilitation steel sets that include field evaluation, engineering considerations, design assumptions, steel structural analysis, and field installation quality control.

The model is designed to quickly find complex Web services by using hierarchical registration method. The basic concepts of Web services system are introduced and presented and then the method of hierarchical registration of services is described. In particular service query document description and service lookup procedure are concentrated and it addresses how to lookup these services which are registered in the Web services system. Furthermore an example design and an evaluation of its performance are presented. Specifically it shows that the using of attribution-based service query document design and content-based hierarchical registration in Q-WSL allows service requesters to discover needed services more flexibly and rapidly. It is confirmed that Q-WSL is very suitable for Web services system.
