China's high-speed railway(HSR)is booming recently,the HSR's performance of energy conservation and carbon reduction has attractedmuch *** study developed a new life cycle model of energy consumption and greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions on China's HSR bylife cycle analysis(LCA),covering the stages of infrastructure,HSR train,and operation,based on the TLCAM(Tsinghua-LCA Model).A caseof the BeijingeShanghai HSR has been studied to show that the full life cycle energy consumption and GHG emissions of HSR transportationare 0.4 MJ km1per capita and 0.04 kg CO2ekm1per capita,respectively,which are far less than aviation,gasoline vehicles,diesel vehicles,electric vehicles and public *** the cleaner power structure and the progress of HSR train technology,the energy consumption andcarbon emissions of HSR in 2020 could be reduced by 20%compared to *** study indicates that electricity generation mix structure andfull load rate are important factors influencing the life-cycle energy consumption and GHG emissions of HSR *** is recommendedto improve the coverage of HSR network,accelerate train upgrades,improve the full load rate of HSR trains,and promote the low-carbondevelopment of electricity supply to strengthen and realize the low-carbon advantage of HSR transport mode in *** transportationcan be used to achieve the low carbon transformation of China's transportation sector and improve oil supply safety situation.

Non-Fullerene-Based Inverted Organic Photovoltaic Device with Long-Term Stability

In this work,we developed the PM6:Y6-based inverted structure organic photovoltaic(i-OPV)with improved power conversion efficiency(PCE)and long-term stability by resolving the origins of the performance *** deep defects between the metal oxide-based electron transport layer and bulk-heterojunction photoactive layer interface were responsible for suboptimal PCE and facilitated degradation of *** the density of deep traps is increased during the storage of i-OPV,the penetrative oxygen-containing defects additionally generated shallow traps below the band-edge of Y6,causing an additional loss in the open-circuit *** suppression of interfacial defects by chemical modification effectively improved the PCE and long-term stability of *** modified i-OPV(mi-OPV)achieved a PCE of 17.42%,which is the highest value among the reported PM6:Y6-based i-OPV ***,long-term stability was significantly improved:~90%and~80%retention of its initial PCE after 1200 h of air storage and illumination,respectively.

Preparation and hydrogen sorption properties of Mg-Cu-Y-H systems

Mg-xwt.%CuY(x=15,20,25)composites were successfully prepared by reactive mechanical alloying(RMA).X-ray diffraction(XRD)measurement shows that main phases of the as milled composites are MgH_(2) and Mg_(2)Cu,and they converted into Mg and MgCu_(2) after dehydrogenation,***-Composition-Isotherm(PCI)test shows that the composites exhibit double pressure plateau at each isothermal desorption *** hydrogen absorption and desorption kinetics of the composites become worse with increasing x content,indicating that Mg-Cu phase has a negative effect on the hydrogen sorption properties of the *** is supposed that the good hydrogen sorption properties of the composites attribute to the catalyst effect of yttrium hydride distributed in Mg substrate and the particles size reduction and crystal defects formed by RMA.

Stable operation of highly loaded pure Si-Fe anode under ambient pressure via carboxy silane-directed robust solid electrolyte interphase

Incorporation of higher content Si anode material beyond 5 wt% to Li-ion batteries(LIBs)is challenging,owing to large volume change,swelling,and solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)instability ***,a strategy of diacetoxydimethylsilane(DAMS)additive-directed SEI stabilization is proposed for a stable operation of Si-0.33FeSi_(2)(named as Si-Fe)anode without graphite,which provides siloxane inorganics and organics enrichment that compensate insufficient passivation of fluoroethylene carbonate(FEC)additive and reduce a dependence on *** stable cycling performance of highly loaded(3.5 mA h cm^(-2))pure Si-Fe anode is achieved with 2 wt%DAMS combined with 9 wt%FEC additives under ambient pressure,yielding high capacity 1270 mA h g^(-1)at 0.5 C and significantly improved capacity retention of 81% after 100 cycles,whereas short circuit and rapid capacity fade occur with FEC only ***-directed robust SEI layer dramatically suppresses swelling and particles crossover through separator,and therefore prevents short circuit,demonstrating a possible operation of pure Si or Sidominant anodes in the next-generation high-energy-density and safe LIBs.

Thermal storage properties of Mg-LaNi using as a solar heat storage material

The effect of LaNi on thermal storage properties of MgH2 prepared by ball milling under hydrogen atmosphere was *** thermal storage properties,cyclic property and thermal storage mechanism were studied by pres sure-composition-temperature(PC T),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The Van't Hoff curve indicates that the formation enthalpy of Mg-16 wt%LaNi is 74.62 kJ·mol^(-1),which approaches to the theoretical values of *** isothermal measurement indicates that Mg-16 wt%LaNi can absorb 6.263 wt%H_(2)within 30 min at 390℃for the first absorption,the absorption reaction fraction within2 min is over 90.00%,and the desorption reaction fraction within 2 min is 72.63%,increasing by 55.36%compared with that of ***-16 wt%LaNi has better cyclic stability than that of Mg,only decreasing by 0.609 wt%after *** enhancement in thermal storage performances of Mg by adding LaNi is mainly ascribed to the formed Mg_(2)NiH_(4),H_(0.3)Mg_(2)Ni and La_(4)H_(12.19)during the cyclic process which act as catalysts and inhibit the growth of *** above results prove that Mg-16 wt%LaNi is suitable for use as a heat storage material.

The effect of LaNi and Ti on thermal storage properties of MgH_(2)was *** thermal storage performances of Mg are significantly improved by adding LaNi and *** pressure-composition-temperature(PCT)curves indicate that the formation enthalpy for Mg-15 wt%Ti-5 wt%LaNi sample is 73.00 kJ·mol^(-1),which approaches to the theoretical values of pure MgH_(2).The isothermal measurement indicates that,for the Mg-15wt%Ti-5 wt%LaNi,the first absorption reaction fraction within 2 min is 93.77%,increasing by 0.32%,0.24%and0.08%compared with those for Mg,Mg-5 wt%LaNi and Mg-15 wt%Ti,*** first desorption reaction fraction within 2 min is 73.18%,increasing by 55.91%,9.79%and 8.12%compared with those for Mg,Mg-5wt%LaNi and Mg-15 wt%Ti,***,Mg-15 wt%Ti-5 wt%LaNi has the best cyclic stability in all the *** thermal storage performances of Mg by adding both LaNi and Ti are improved mainly ascribed to synergistic effect of in situ formed La_(4)H_(12.19),Mg_(2)NiH_(4),H_(0.3)Mg_(2)Ni and TiH_(2)particles during cyclic *** above analysis demonstrates that Mg-15 wt%Ti-5wt%LaNi is suitable for using as a heat storage material.

Monolayer MoS_(2)Fabricated by In Situ Construction of Interlayer Electrostatic Repulsion Enables Ultrafast Ion Transport in Lithium-Ion Batteries

High theoretical capacity and unique layered structures make MoS_(2)a promising lithium-ion battery anode ***,the anisotropic ion transport in layered structures and the poor intrinsic conductivity of MoS_(2)lead to unacceptable ion transport ***,we propose in-situ construction of interlayer electrostatic repulsion caused by Co^(2+)substituting Mo^(4+)between MoS_(2)layers,which can break the limitation of interlayer van der Waals forces to fabricate monolayer MoS_(2),thus establishing isotropic ion transport ***,the doped Co atoms change the electronic structure of monolayer MoS_(2),thus improving its intrinsic ***,the doped Co atoms can be converted into Co nanoparticles to create a space charge region to accelerate ion ***,the Co-doped monolayer MoS_(2)shows ultrafast lithium ion transport capability in half/full *** work presents a novel route for the preparation of monolayer MoS_(2)and demonstrates its potential for application in fast-charging lithium-ion batteries.

Syntheses,Crystal Structures and Luminescent Properties of Two Lanthanide Coordination Polymers Based on Bifunctional Ligand

Two lanthanide coordination polymers, [Eu（HL）（L）（H2O）2]n（1） and [Tb（H0.5L）2]n（2）, based on bifunctional 5-（1H-imidazol-1-yl） isophthalic acid（H2L）, are hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by both single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction analyses, and FT-IR. In compound 1, the basic inorganic building unit of the coordination network is the dinuclear [Eu2（COO）6] cluster. Each [Eu2（COO）6] cluster connects four HL^- ligands and each HLligand links two [Eu2（COO）6] clusters, resulting in a 2D coordination layer. The adjacent 2 D layers are further connected via neighboring inter-layer hydrogen bonds to give a 3D supramolecular structure. In compound 2, the Tb^3＋ is coordinated to six oxygen atoms. Each Tb^3＋ ion connects six ligands and each ligand links three Tb^3＋ ions, leading to a 3D coordination polymeric network which exhibits remarkably high thermal stability up to 500℃. Furthermore, due to the successful incorporation of Tb^3＋, compound 2 displays characteristic luminescent emission in the solid state at room temperature. The combination of high thermal stability and fluorescent property of compound 2 would make it as a promising light-emitting material.
