The objective of the invariant ellipsoid method is to minimize the smallest invariant and attractive set of a linear control system operating under the influence of bounded external disturbances. This study extends the application of this method to address the leader-following consensus problem. Initially, a linear control protocol is designed for the multi-agent system in the absence of disturbances. Subsequently, in the presence of bounded disturbances, by employing a similar linear control protocol, a necessary and sufficient condition is introduced to derive the optimal control parameters for the multi-agent system such that the state of followers converges to and remains in a minimal invariant ellipsoid around the state of the leader.

This study addresses the crucial challenge of monitoring the State of Health(SOH)of Lithium-Ion Batteries(LIBs)in response to the escalating demand for renewable energy systems and the imperative to reduce CO2 *** research introduces deep learning(DL)models,namely Encoder-Long Short-Term Memory(E-LSTM)and Convolutional Neural Network-LSTM(CNN–LSTM),each designed to forecast battery SOH.E-LSTM integrates an encoder for dimensionality reduction and an LSTM model to capture data ***–LSTM,on the other hand,employs CNN layers for encoding followed by LSTM layers for precise SOH ***,we prioritize model explainability by employing a game-theoretic approach known as SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)to elucidate the output of our ***,a method based on pattern mining was developed,synergizing with the model,to identify patterns contributing to abnormal SOH *** insights are presented through informative *** proposed approach relies on the battery dataset from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT)and showcases promising results in accurately estimating SOH values,in which the E-LSTM model outperformed the CNN–LSTM model with a Mean Absolute Error(MAE)of less than 1%.

We read with great interest the study of Mergental et al.(1)reporting the 5-year outcomes of the VITTAL trial(2,3).VITTAL was a prospective,non-randomized,single-arm trial that tested end-ischemic oxygenated normothermic machine perfusion(NMP)with a“back-to-base”strategy to evaluate,and potentially transplant,liver grafts declined by all liver transplantation(LT)centers in the United *** a liver to be considered viable,it had to metabolize perfusate lactate to a concentration of≤2.5 mmol/L within four hours from the start of perfusion,and meet at least two of the following criteria:bile production without a defined quantity;maintenance of perfusate pH above 7.3;glucose consumption in the perfusate;maintenance of stable arterial and portal flow above 150 and 500 mL/min,respectively;maintenance of graft suppleness and homogeneous perfusion(4).Thirty-one discarded human donor livers underwent viability testing by using end-ischemic NMP,of which 22(71%)livers were subsequently *** primary outcome of the trial was graft survival rate at 90 days and it was 100%.

Piezoelectric resonant de-icing systems are attracting great *** paper aims to assess the implementation of these systems at the aircraft *** article begins with the model to compute the power requirement of a piezoelectric resonant de-icing system sized from the prototype detailed in Part 1/2 of this *** the mass,drag,and fuel consumption of this system and the subcomponents needed for its implementation are *** features of a piezoelectric resonant de-icing system are finally computed for aircraft similar to Airbus A320 aircraft and aircraft of different categories(Boeing 787,ATR 72 and TBM 900)and compared with the existing thermal and mechanical ice protection systems.A sensitivity analysis of the main key sizing parameters of the piezoelectric de-icing system is also performed to identify the main axes of improvement for this *** study shows the potential of such ice protection *** particular,for the realistic input parameters chosen in this work,the electro-mechanical solution can provide a 54% reduction in terms of mass and a 92% reduction in terms of power consumption for an A320 aircraft architecture,leading to a 74% decrease in the associated fuel consumption compared to the actual air bleed system.

The synthesis of new 4-imino-4H-chromeno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-3(5H)-amine in four steps including one step under microwave dielectric heating is reported. The structural identity of the synthesized compounds was established according to their spectroscopic analysis, such as FT-IR, NMR and mass spectroscopy. These new compounds were tested for their antiproliferative activities on seven representative human tumoral cell lines (Huh7 D12, Caco2, MDA-MB231, MDA-MB468, HCT116, PC3 and MCF7) and also on fibroblasts. Among them, only the compounds 6c showed micromolar cytotoxic activity on tumor cell lines (1.8 50 50 > 25 μM). Finally, in silico ADMET studies ware performed to investigate the possibility of using of the identified compound 6c as potential anti-tumor compound.
