BACKGROUND There is limited literature on managing the airway of patients with linear immunoglobulin A(igA)bullous dermatosis,a rare mucocutaneous disorder that leads to the development of friable *** clinical decision making is necessary when there is a risk of bleeding into the airway,and a multidisciplinary team approach may lead to decreased patient morbidity during these high-risk scenarios,especially when confronted with an unusual cause for *** SUMMARY A 45-year-old African American female presented to our ambulatory surgical center for right corneal transplantation due to corneal perforation after blunt trauma in the setting of cicatricial conjunctivitis and diffuse corneal neovascularization from linear igA bullous *** diagnosis of igA dermatosis was recent,and the patient had been lost to *** severity of the disease and extent of airway involvement was unknown at the time of the *** airway bleeding was noticed upon intubation and the otorhinolaryngology team had to be called to the operating *** patient required transfer to the intensive care unit where a multidisciplinary team was involved in her *** patient was extubated on postoperative day *** A multidisciplinary approach to treating this disease is the best course of action before a surgical *** our case,key communication between the surgery,anesthesia,and dermatology teams led to the quick and safe treatment of our patient’s *** surgery should not be considered for these cases unless they are in full remission and there is no mucous membrane involvement.

Objective:Coronary artery anatomical variations and anomalies are an important topic due to their potential clinical *** study aims to investigate the prevalence of coronary artery anatomical variations and anomalies in symptomatic patients with coronary computed tomography angiography(CCTA).Methods:This is a retrospective study that included all symptomatic patients who had CCTA in a tertiary care hospital in Saudi Arabia during a period of seven ***:The total number of included patients was 507(60%males)with a mean age of 57.4 *** 41%had luminal stenoses,averaging 49.7%.The total num-ber of patients with coronary anatomical variations(CAV)and coronary artery anomalies(CAA)was 217(43%).CAV prevalence was 26%,which included 14%non-right coronary dominance,5%short left main coronary artery(LMCA),and 7%division variations(trifurcation and quadrifurcarion)of the *** prevalence of CAA was 29%,which included 5%origin anomalies,22%myocardial bridge,and 2%course ***:A high prevalence of coronary artery anatomic variations and anomalies in symptomatic patients is reported in this *** reviews,meta-analyses,reporting guidelines,and unified definitions and classifications of cor-onary variations and anomalies are lacking in the literature,presenting potential opportunities for future research and publications.

The rapid development of portable and wearable electronic devices is responding to the urgent demand for high-efficiency flexible energy storage *** supercapacitors,showing long cycle life,high power density,and good safety,are considered ideal ***,the relatively low energy density restricts their practical *** a large dielectric constant of 18-46,Ta_(2)O_(5)-based materials typically exhibit excellent electron-binding ability,which is critical for enhancing the energy density of *** this work,the free-standingβ-Ta_(2)O_(5)/single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)composite film was prepared,with a highβ-Ta_(2)O_(5)loading of over 70%.By anchoringβ-Ta_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles onto the surface of SWCNTs,the system’s flexibility and conductivity were significantly enhanced,which also facilitated the intercalation electrodynamics of metal *** a result,the flexibleβ-Ta_(2)O_(5)/SWCNTs film exhibits excellent Li-ion storage performance,with a high volumetric specific capacitance of 392.3 F cm^(-3)at the scan rate of 10 mV s^(-1)and 198.9 F cm^(-3)at 500 mV s^(-1).in addition,the asymmetric device,assembled by theβ-Ta_(2)O_(5)/SWCNTs and activated carbon films,shows a high energy density of 45.5 Wh kg^(-1)at the power density of 10.8 kW kg^(-1).This technique opens up a new avenue for improving the energy density and rate performance of flexible supercapacitors.

Background:YangshenDingzhi granules(YSDZ)are clinically effective in preventing and treating *** present study elucidates the underlying mechanism of YSDZ intervention in viral pneumonia by employing serum pharmacochemistry and network ***:The chemical constituents of YSDZ in the blood were examined using ultraperformance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap MS).Potential protein targets were obtained from the SwissTargetPrediction database,and the target genes associated with viral pneumonia were identified using GeneCards,DisGeNET,and Online Mendelian inheritance in Man(OMiM)*** intersection of blood component-related targets and disease-related targets was determined using Venny ***-protein interaction networks were constructed using the STRiNG *** Metascape database was employed to perform enrichment analyses of Gene Ontology(GO)functions and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)signaling pathways for the targets,while the Cytoscape 3.9.1 software was utilized to construct drug-component-disease-target-pathway ***,in vitro and in vivo experiments were performed to establish the therapeutic effectiveness of YSDZ against viral ***:Fifteen compounds and 124 targets linked to viral pneumonia were detected in *** these,MAPK1,MAPK3,AKT1,EGFR,and TNF play significant *** vitro tests revealed that the medicated serum suppressed the replication of H1N1,RSV,and SARS-CoV-2 ***,in vivo testing analysis shows that YSDZ decreases the viral load in the lungs of mice infected with RSV and ***:The chemical constituents of YSDZ in the blood may elicit therapeutic effects against viral pneumonia by targeting multiple proteins and pathways.
