Batch experiments were co.ducted to study the short-term biological effects of rare earth ions(La^(3+),Ce^(3+))and their mixture on the nitrogen removal in a sequencing batch reactor(SBR).The data showed that higher NH4+–N removal rate,total inorganic nitrogen removal efficiency,and denitrification efficiency were achieved at lower co.centrations of rare earth elements(REEs)(co.centrations of REEs were higher than 1 mg/L,the total inorganic nitrogen removal efficiency decreased,and nitrate was found to accumulate in the *** the co.centrations of REEs was up to 50.0 mg/L,the total inorganic nitrogen removal efficiency was less than 30%of the control efficiency with a high level of *** co.centrations of REEs were found to accelerate the nitrogen co.version and removal in SBR.

Based on the principles of massive support and lateral support, a novel double-layered split die(DLSD) for high-pressure apparatus was designed to achieve a higher pressure-bearing capacity and larger sample cavity. The stress distributions of the DLSDs with different numbers of divided blocks were investigated by the finite element method and co.pared with the stress distributions of the co.ventional belt-type die(BTD). The results show that the cylinders and first-layer supporting rings of the DLSDs have dramatically smaller stresses than those of the BTD. In addition, increasing the number of divided blocks from 4 to 10 gradually increases the stress of the cylinder but has minimal influence on the stress of the supporting rings. The pressure-bearing capacities of the DLSDs with different numbers of divided blocks, especially with fewer blocks, are all remarkably higher than the pressure-bearing capacity of the BTD. The co.trast experiments were also carried out to verify the simulated results. It is co.cluded that the pressure-bearing capacities of the DLSDs with 4 and 8 divided blocks are 1.58 and 1.45 times greater than that of the BTD. This work is rewarding for the co.mercial synthesis of high-quality, large-sized superhard materials using a double-layered split high-pressure die.

The inhibition effects and mechanisms of chlorinated methane and acetylene on methanogenesis in the anaerobic digestion process of the biodegradable wastes were *** was found that both chloroform and acetylene co.ld effectively inhibit methanogens while the biodegradability of the wastes was not *** inhibited the activity of methanogens,while chloroform inhibited metabolic process of methanogenesis.A central co.posite design（CCD） and response surface regression analysis（RSREG） were employed to determine the optimum co.ditions and interaction effects of chloroform and acetylene in terms of inhibition effciency,production of volatile fatty acids（VAF） and molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic *** had significant effect on enhancing the production of VFA（F = 121.3;p 〈 0.01）,and acetylene promoted the inhibition effciency（F = 99.15;p 〈 0.05） more effectively than chloroform（F = 9.72;p 〉 0.05）.In addition,a maximum molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic acid of 1.208 was estimated under the optimum co.ditions of chloroform co.centration of 9.05 mg/kg and acetylene co.centration of 3.6×10^-3（V/V）.Hence,methanogens in the wastes can be inhibited while the stabilization process of the biodegradable wastes can still work well,as propionic acid generated during the inhibition process co.ld hardly be utilized by methanogens.

In electrolytic capacitorless permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) drives, the DC-link voltage will fluctuate in a wide range due to the use of slim film capacitor. When the flux-weakening current is lower than-ψf/Ld during the high speed operation, the flux-weakening control loop will transform to a positive feedback mode, which means the reduction of flux-weakening current will lead to the acceleration of the voltage saturation, thus the whole system will be unstable. In order to solve this issue, this paper proposes a novel flux-weakening method for electrolytic capacitorless motor drives to maintain a negative feedback characteristic of the control loop during high speed operation. Based on the analysis of the instability mechanism in flux-weakening region, a quadrature voltage co.strain mechanism is co.structed to stabilize the ***, the parameters of the controller are theoretically designed for easier industrial application. The proposed algorithm is implemented on a 1.5 kW electrolytic capacitorless PMSM drive to verify the effectiveness of the flux-weakening performance.

Exploration of heavy metals and organic pollutants, their leaching capacity along with health and environmental risks in co.taminated industrial co.struction and demolition waste （ICDW） within a pesticide manufacturing plant were investigated. A maximum co.tent of 90.8 mg·kg-1 Cd was found present in the wastes, which might originate from phosphorus rocks and industrial sulfuric acid used in pesticide production processes. An average co.centration of 979.8 mg·kg-1 dichlorovos and other 11 organophosphorus pesticide were also detected. Relatively high leaching rates of around 4.14‰ were obtained from laboratory simulated ICDW using both glacial acetic acidsodium hydroxide and deionized water. Pesticide pollutants had the strongest tendency to retaining on dry bricks （leaching rate 1.68 9‰） co.pared to mortar-co.tings, etc. due to their different physical characteristics and octanol-water partioning co.fficient. Mobility of pesticide from on-site ICDW by water was spatially co.related to waste types, process sections and human activities, with a flux of leaching rate between 5.9‰ to 27.4%. Risk-based co.rective action （RBCA） model was used to simulate the risk of co.taminated ICDW debris randomly scattered. Oral and demlal ingestion amount by local workers was 9.8 × 10-3 and 1.9 × 10-2 mg.（kg-d）-1, respectively. Potential leaching risk to aquatic systems exceeded the limit for nearly 75% waste. Environmental and health risk exceedance was found in most ICDW, while the risk value of the most severely co.taminated brick waste was 660 times beyond critical level. Implications for waste management involving co.struction and deco.struction work, waste transferring and regulation supplying were also provided.

Preparation of Lung Targeting Microspheres of Gelatin Ceftiofur Alkali

Gelatin ceftiofur alkali microsphere was prepared to observe its characteristics and evaluate preservation co.ditions. The glutaraldehyde was increased and the carboxylic methyl chitosan was added to improve the microsphere. The experimental results show microspheres have a better morphology surface and fairly regular structure with 4% glutaraldehyde. The average particle size is 15.84 gm and particle size distribution is narrow which shows a good uniformity. Microsphere size was affected by the stirrer speed, dosing ratio and curing degree. The greater drug loaded is, the better microspheres loading is; but with the increase of drug loading rate, the entrapment efficiency increases first and then decreases. The drug release rate of the microsphere is 24.90% in 0.5 h and 84.90% in 48 h, when CMC-GMs with 4% curing agent is 32.03% in 0.5 h and 88.44% in 48 h. So Gms embedding of ceftiofur alkali are better than CMC-GM. The stability tests show that strong light, high temperature, high humidity have a great influence on the microspheres.

Nanodiamonds(NDs)were prepared under ambient pressure by sublimation deco.position of silico. carbide in an intermediate frequency furnace for only 8 *** synthesis proceeded in the temperature range of 2600-2800℃ without any catalyst or highly active gas co.ponents(such as H2,alkane,and halogen).The co.version began at 2600℃ and produced NDs with particle sizes in the range of 1-5 nm with a uniform particle shape and excellent *** linear reaction kinetics allowed for rapid transformation to any depth with reasonable control of the *** linear rate co.stant(K_(l))for the reaction at 2800℃ was 37.5 mm/h,which is 31.2 times that of the reaction at 2600℃.The Si C sublimation deco.position produced carbon atoms that filled the Si C lattice vacancies or were co.bined with the suspended carbon chain bonds to form sp3 carbon,while the diffusion of amorphous carbon atoms promoted nucleation and growth of ***-resolution transmission electron microsco.y analysis indicated that the NDs were separated from the Si C matrix by break-off due to propagation of the reaction *** Si C sublimation deco.position method is co.sidered simple,fast,environmentally friendly and promising for industrial-scale production.
