The Mibei gold deposit,located in the southwestern part of the Xuefengshan uplift zone,the middle section of the Jiangnan orogenic belt in southern China,has estimated gold resources of approximately seven *** deposit is primarily a quartz vein-type gold deposit,with ore bodies occurring mainly within Neoproterozoic *** main metallic minerals in the ore are pyrite,chalcopyrite,and *** this study,the petrography and microthermometry of ore-forming fluid inclusions,oxygen isotopes of gold-bearing quartz,and sulfur isotopes of goldbearing sulfides and arsenopyrite were *** types of fluid inclusions were identified:type Ⅰa three-phase inclusions comprising vapor and two phases of liquids(V_(CO_(2))+L_(CO_(2))+L_(H2O)),type Ⅰb two-phase liquids(L_(CO_(2))+L_(H2O)),typeⅡ two-phase vapor-rich inclusions(V/V+L> 50%),and type Ⅲ pure liquid *** Ⅰ inclusions were heated uniformly to the liquid phase,type Ⅱ inclusions were heated uniformly to the gas phase,and type Ⅲ inclusions were heated without *** general,the temperature range of homogenization to liquid phase of fluid inclusions in the Mibei gold deposit is 204-227℃.The salinity of the inclusion ranges from 4.6 to 12.2 wt% NaCl *** δ~(18)O_(SMOW) of gold-bearing quartz varies from 16.9‰ to 17.5‰.The δ~(18)O_(H2O) of gold-bearing quartz are varied from 6.5‰ to 7.5‰.The δ~(34)S values of gold-bearing pyrite range from 1.7‰ to 6.8‰.The δ~(34)S values of gold-bearing arsenopy rite range from 5.6%o to 5.9‰.Theδ~(34)S values of pyrite from wall rocks slate range from 6.4‰ to 11.6‰.This evidence implies that the ore-forming fluids of the Mibei gold deposit originated from magmatic-hydrothermal processes,mixing with minor S from the surrounding *** with the evolution of the Jiangnan orogenic belt,due to the magmatic and tectonic activities of the Xuefengshan uplift during the Caledonian period,the fault seal mechanism controlled the ore-forming p

Introduction:The objective of this paper was to assess the epidemiology of rabies in hunan province,analyze the associated factors,understand the status of prevention and treatment after rabies exposure,evaluate the effectiveness of prevention and treatment,and provide a scientific basis for formulating effective prevention and control ***:The surveillance data of rabies in hunan province in 2020 were collected and analyzed by descriptive epidemiological ***:In 2020,a total of 59 cases of rabies were reported in hunan province,with an incidence rate of 0.09/100,***,42 cases(71.19%)were due to animal bites and 43 cases(72.88%)were of grade *** proportion of hand and combined injury of hand was the highest(40.68%).A total of 603,261 cases of rabies exposure were reported from the rabies post-exposure prophylaxis(PEP)clinic in hunan *** were the main animal causing injuries,accounting for 74.21%.Only 83,418(13.84%)of the animals had a clear immune history,and a total of 11 dog attacks were reported in hunan *** average immunity rate of dogs in the whole province was 30.98%.In 2020,554 dogs were sampled in the whole province;20 of them were positive for a positivity rate of 3.61%.Conclusions:Rabies in hunan province in 2020 had a relatively low *** to treat wounds,immunoglobulin injections,and vaccination after exposure were the main causes of ***,post-exposure management of rabies should be further strengthened to reduce the risk of rabies for high-risk populations.

Environmental Change and Human Occupation during Late Pleistocene in hunan province， South China

The Paleolithic sites in South China have caused controversy regarding human behaviors in response to the rapidly shifting environment of the late Pleistocene. However， chronometric and high-resolution proxies are absent from interpreting the paleoenvironmental evolution. Here we present the chronology， grain size parameters， and geochemical elements records from the Hejialing (HJL) site in South China to reveal the crucial aspects of environmental evolution， and human occupation. The geochemical record shows that during MIS 5e–5a， northern hunan experienced the influence of summer monsoon and maintained a warm and humid climate. The laterite layer began to develop. During MIS 4， the climate transitioned to dry and cold state， leading to the attraction of hominins to the HJL area due to the abundant water and lithic raw material resources， resulting in their establishment of a short-term camp. The HJL site was primarily inhabited by hunter-gatherer societies within a forested environment. From MIS 4 to MIS 2， hunan experienced a prolonged period of dry and cold climatic conditions， with a brief rainfall recovery occurring in late MIS 3. Diminished vegetation and resource availability compelled human populations to broaden their activities and undertake migrations. The HJL site was abandoned amid the arid phase of MIS 2. The HJL area gradually became buried beneath eolian dust deposition (EM1) from distant sources and riverine dust from nearby sources (EM2)， and the site was informed. In MIS 1， During MIS 1， the climate shifted to a warm and humid state， marking the emergence of early agricultural practices. As an essential part of South China， the environmental evolution process and diverse survival strategies employed by hominins in hunan are vital for explaining how the paleoenvironment drove human occupation during the Late Pleistocene.

DEAR EDITOR,The Laosicheng site in Yongshun County,hunan province,China,plays an important role in elucidating the animal population composition of the region prior to the middle Qing Dynasty(approximately 300 years ago).This site has yielded a substantial number of animal bones,11960 of which have been identified to the species level,serving as direct evidence of ancient animal populations(hunan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,2018).

Mpox virus (MPXV) belongs to the family Poxviridae,subfamily Chordopoxvirinae,and genus Orthopoxvirus,which also includes Variola virus(VARV),Cowpox virus (CPXV),and Vaccinia virus(VACV).Clinical symptoms of mpox are similar to smallpox but are relatively milder^([1]).MPXV was first isolated from crab-eating monkeys in the tropical rainforests of Africa in 1958^([2]).The first human case of MPXV infection was reported in the Congo in1970^([3]).Following the eradication of smallpox in1977,mpox has emerged as one of the prominent viral members of the Poxviridae family,significantly impacting public health^([4]),mainly prevalent in Central and West *** from May 2022.

A follow up study of cycle threshold values of SARS-CoV-2 in hunan province,China

Since the epidemic of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-COV-2),many governments have used reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)to detect the ***,there are fewer measures of CT values information based on RT-PCR results,and the relationship between CT values and factors from consecutive tests is not clear *** in this study,we analyzed the connection between CT values and the factors based on cohort data from Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 in hunan *** studies have showed that the mean age of the cases was 33.34 years(±18.72 years),with a female predominance(55.03%,n=71),and the greatest proportion of clinical symptoms were of the common type(60.47%,n=78).There were statistical differences between the N and ORF1ab genes in the CT values for the *** on the analysis of the association between CT values and the factors,the lowest CT values were obtained for the unvaccinated,older and clinically symptomatic group at 3e10 days,the maximum peak of viral load ***,it is recommended to use patient information to focus on older,clinically symptomatic,unvaccinated patients and to intervene promptly upon admission.

CLIMATIC RISK ZONING OF DOUBLE CROPPING SUPER RICE CULTIVATION IN hunan province

Based on meteorological data including daily sunshine duration, temperature and precipitation from 97 meteorological stations in hunan province during the period of 1981—2010, in combination with the field experiment in different places at different sowing dates, the precise climatic risk zoning of double cropping super rice cultivation has been studied by using the spatial interpolation method and other Geographical Information System(GIS)technologies. Three key climatic factors were selected including chilling in May, high temperature heat damage during July to early August and low temperature damage in autumn in this study. Furthermore, based on the analysis of climatic conditions suitable for double cropping super rice cultivation and climatic disasters, 8-22 ℃ active accumulated temperature, sunshine duration from late March to October, climatic risk index of the low temperature in autumn, and climatic risk index of chilling in May were selected as key climatic factors to study the precise agro-meteorological regionalization of double cropping super rice in hunan province. The results showed that: the high-yielding zones of double cropping super rice in hunan were mainly located in Zhuzhou, Hengyang, Yongzhou and Chenzhou City, the moderate-yielding zones were primarily located in the east and north reaches of Dongting Lake,together with most of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan City, and other regions in hunan were not suitable for double cropping super rice. These findings can provide valuable information for the large-scale cultivation of double cropping super rice in hunan province.

Injury severity analysis of electric bike crashes in Changsha, hunan province: taking different lighting conditions into consideration

With the increasing use of electric bikes, electric bike crashes occur frequently. Analysing the influencing factors of electric bikecrashes is an effective way to reduce mortality and improve road safety. In this paper, spatial analysis is performed by geographicinformation system (GIS) to present the hot spots of electric bike crashes during daylight and darkness in Changsha, hunan province,China. Based on the Ordered Probit (OP) model, we studied the risk factors that led to different severities of electric bike *** results show that the main influencing variables include age, illegal behaviour, collision type and road factors. During daylightand darkness, elderly electric bike riders over the age of 65 years have a higher probability of fatal crashes. Not following trafficsignals and reverse driving are significantly related to the severity of riders’ injuries. In darkness, frontal collisions are significantfactors causing rider injury. In daylight, more serious crashes will be caused in bend and slope road segments. In darkness, roadswith no physically separated bicycle lanes increases the risk of riders being injured. Electric bike crashes are mainly concentratedin the commercial, public service and residential areas in the main urban area. In suburbs at darkness, electric bike riders are morelikely to be seriously injured. Adding protectionmeasures, such as improved lighting, non-motorized lane facilities and interventionstargeting illegal behaviour in the hot spot areas can effectively reduce the number of electric bike crashes in complex traffic.

A New Species of the Amolops mantzorum Group (Anura: Ranidae: Amolops) from Northwestern hunan province, China

We described anew species of the Amolops mantzorum group(Anura:Ranidae) from northwestern hunan province,China based on morphological and molecular *** new species differs from its congeners by a combination of the following characteristics:moderate body size of SVL 403-409 mm in adult males(N=3),and 52.6-57.7 mm in adult females(N=3);head length about equal to or larger than head width(HDL/HDW 1.01-1.03);skin on dorsum smooth;dorsolateral folds absent,but developed a series of elongated glands forming an incomplete line;dense small spiny tubercles on lower flanks,and sparse flat tubercles on upper flanks;skin on belly slightly granular,posterior half of ventral surface of thigh glandular;tympanum indistinct,small,covered by glandular skin;presence of dense spiny tubercles around the mouth corner;vomerine teeth present,attached on two oblique ridges;presence of supernumerary tubercles below the bases of fingers Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ;several protruding tubercles around the cloacal region,with a pair of larger tubercles on sides of the anus;webs on each side of toe Ⅳ reaches the region between third subarticular tubercle and digit;and absence of vocal sacs and linea masculine in males.
