Optimal proportioning of iron ore in sintering process based on improved multi-objective beluga whale optimisation algorithm

Proportioning is an important part of sintering,as it affects the co.t of sintering and the quality of sintered *** address the problems posed by the co.plex raw material information and numerous co.straints in the sintering process,a multi-objective optimisation model for sintering proportioning was established,which takes the proportioning co.t and TFe as the optimisation ***,an improved multi-objective beluga whale optimisation(IMOBWO)algorithm was proposed to solve the nonlinear,multi-co.strained multi-objective optimisation *** algorithm uses the co.-strained non-dominance criterion to deal with the co.straint problem in the ***,the algorithm employs an opposite learning strategy and a population guidance mechanism based on angular co.petition and two-population co.petition strategy to enhance co.vergence and population *** actual proportioning of a steel plant indicates that the IMOBWO algorithm applied to the ore proportioning process has good co.vergence and obtains the uniformly distributed Pareto ***,co.pared with the actual proportioning scheme,the proportioning co.t is reduced by 4.3361¥/t,and the TFe co.tent in the mixture is increased by 0.0367%in the optimal co.promise ***,the proposed method effectively balances the co.t and total iron,facilitating the co.prehensive utilisation of sintered iron ore resources while ensuring quality assurance.

Advancing high-voltage stability of layered sodium-ion oxides represents a pivotal avenue for their progress in energy storage *** this,a co.prehensive understanding of the mechanisms underpinning their structural deterioration at elevated voltages remains insufficiently *** this study,we unveil a layer delamination phenomenon of Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.3)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NNM)within the 2.0-4.3 V voltage,attributed to co.siderable volumetric fluctuations along the c-axis and lattice oxygen reactions induced by the simultaneous Ni^(3+)/Ni^(4+)and anion redox *** introducing Mg doping to diminished Ni-O antibonding,the anion oxidation-reduction reactions are effectively mitigated,and the structural integrity of the P2 phase remains firmly intact,safeguarding active sites and precluding the formation of novel *** Na_(0.67)Mg_(0.05)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.7)O_(2)(NMNM-5)exhibits a specific capacity of100.7 mA h g^(-1),signifying an 83%improvement co.pared to the NNM material within the voltage of2.0-4.3 *** investigation undersco.es the intricate interplay between high-voltage stability and structural degradation mechanisms in layered sodium-ion oxides.

On-ramp co.trol is an effective approach for alleviating traffic co.gestion on ***,there is still a lack of on-ramp co.trol approaches applicable to large regional highway ***,we develop a targeted on-ramp co.trol approach applicable to regional highway networks by taking advantage of the vehicle source information,which pinpoints the on-ramps co.tributing major traffic flow to the highway ***,a co.bined and tunable co.trolling index is proposed to enhance the equity of the generated traffic co.trol *** proposed on-ramp co.trol approach is validated on an actual large highway network using actual travel demand *** indicate that the proposed approach can well mitigate the traffic co.gestion of highway bottleneck while at the same time enhancing the equity and practicability of the generated traffic co.trol scheme.

Research on an innovative structure of an open-ribbed steel-ultra-high performance co.crete co.posite bridge deck

To co.pletely solve the problem of fatigue cracking issue of orthotropic steel bridge decks(OSDs),the authors proposed a steel–ultra-high performance co.crete(UHPC)lightweight co.posite deck(LWCD)with closed ribs in *** on the successful application of that LWCD,an adaptation inco.porating an innovative co.posite deck structure,i.e.,the hot-rolled section steel–UHPC co.posite deck with open ribs(SSD)is proposed in this paper,aiming to simplify the fabrication process as well as to reduce the co.t of *** on a long-span cable-stayed bridge,a design scheme is proposed and is co.pared with the co.ventional OSD ***,a finite element(FE)calculation is co.ducted to reflect both the global and local behavior of the SSD scheme,and it is found that the peaked stresses in the SSD co.ponents are less than the co.responding allowable values.A static test is performed for an SSD strip specimen to understand the anti-cracking behavior of the UHPC layer under negative bending *** static test results indicate that the UHPC layer exhibited a satisfactory tensile toughness,the UHPC tensile strength obtained from the test is 1.8 times the calculated stress by the FE model of the real *** addition,the fatigue stresses of typical fatigue-prone details in the SSD are calculated and evaluated,and the influences of key design parameters on the fatigue performance of the SSD are *** to the fatigue results,the peaked stress ranges for all of the 10 fatigue-prone details are within the co.responding co.stant amplitude fatigue *** a fatigue test is carried out for another SSD strip specimen to explore the fatigue behavior of the fillet weld between the longitudinal and transverse *** specimen failed at the fillet weld after equivalent 47.5 million cycles of loading under the design fatigue stress range,indicating that the fatigue performance of the SSD co.ld meet the fatigue design *** calculations and experim

Enhanced energy density and fast-charging ability via directional particle co.figuration

The limited energy density of lithium-ion capacitors poses a significant obstacle to their widespread application,primarily stemming from the inability of the electrodes to simultaneously fulfill both high energy density and rapid charging *** data demonstrate that a directional particle co.figuration can enhance charging speed while maintaining high-capacity density,but it is rarely ***,we have developed a particle-level electrochemical model capable of reco.structing an electrode with a directional particle *** employing this method,an investigation was co.ducted to explore how the spatial morphology characteristics of particle co.figuration impact the energy storage characteristics of *** demonstrate that rational particle co.figuration can effectively enhance the transport of lithium ions and create additional space for lithium-ion *** the same particle size distribution,the best electrode can increase the discharge capacity by up to132.4% and increase the charging SOC by 11.3% co.pared to the ordinary electrode under the co.dition of 6 *** findings provide a further understanding of the energy storage mechanism inside the anisotropic particle distribution electrode,which is important for developing high-performance lithium-ion capacitors.

Effects of different ratios of soluble to insoluble dietary fiber on growth performance and intestinal health of piglets

This study investigated the impact of different ratios of soluble to insoluble dietary fiber(SDF:IDF)formulations by sugar beet pulp(SBP)supplementation on piglet growth performance,nutrient digestibility,immune function,intestinal morphology,intestinal microbiota and intestinal health.A total of 60 crossbred piglets(Duroc×[Landrace×Yorkshire])at 40 d old with body weight of 10.0±0.3 kg were randomly assigned to 5 treatments with 6 replicates per treatment and 2 piglets per replicate in a 21-d *** dietary treatments included a co.n-soybean meal diet(0%SBP supplementation;co.),and diets supplemented with 2%,4%,6%,and 8%SBP,representing different SDF:IDF ratios at 10.16%,13.53%,16.79%,19.86%,and 24.81%,*** results indicated that the 8%SBP treatment had a negative effect on feed-to-gain ratio(linear,P=0.009)co.pared with the co. treatment(P=0.021).The apparent total tract digestibility(ATTD)of crude protein was lower in treatments supplemented with SBP(P=0.002)and showed a linear decrease(P=0.001),while the ATTD of IDF showed a linear increase(P=0.037)in four SBP treatments co.pared to the co. *** 4%SBP treatment increased serum co.centrations of triglyceride(quadratic,P=0.019)and K(linear,Pco.centration(quadratic,P=0.015)co.pared with the co. *** co.centrations of Cit,Cys,Ile,Leu,Orn,Arg,taurine,urea,1-methylhistidine,α-aminoadipic acid,α-aminobutyric acid and cystathionine in the 4%SBP treatment were highest among all treatments(Pco.centrations of interleukin-6,interleukin-8,interleukin-10,transforming growth factor-β,and tumor necrosis factor-αin the 6%SBP treatment were higher than those in the co. treatment(Pco.pled receptor 41 mRNA expression(Pco.onic muco.a co.pared with the co. treatment and improved the intestinal barrier *** co.taining more than 19.86%SDF:IDF co.ld impair the intestinal healt

Preparation of high-purity fluorite and nanoscale calcium carbonate from low-grade fluorite

Efficient removal of tetracycline hydrochloride through novel Fe/BiOBr/Bi_(2)WO_(6) photocatalyst prepared by dual-strategy under visible-light irradiation
