Utilizing engineered extracellular vesicles as delivery vectors in the management of ischemic stroke:a special outlook on mitochondrial delivery

Ischemic stroke is a secondary cause of mortality worldwide,imposing considerable medical and economic burdens on *** vesicles,serving as natural nanocarriers for drug delivery,exhibit excellent biocompatibility in vivo and have significant advantages in the management of ischemic ***,the uncertain distribution and rapid clearance of extracellular vesicles impede their delivery *** utilizing membrane decoration or by encapsulating therapeutic cargo within extracellular vesicles,their delivery efficacy may be greatly ***,previous studies have indicated that microvesicles,a subset of large-sized extracellular vesicles,can transport mitochondria to neighboring cells,thereby aiding in the restoration of mitochondrial function post-ischemic *** extracellular vesicles have also demonstrated the capability to transfer mitochondrial components,such as proteins or deoxyribonucleic acid,or their sub-components,for extracellular vesicle-based ischemic stroke *** this review,we undertake a comparative analysis of the isolation techniques employed for extracellular vesicles and present an overview of the current dominant extracellular vesicle modification *** the complex facets of treating ischemic stroke,we also delineate various extracellular vesicle modification approaches which are suited to different facets of the treatment ***,given the burgeoning interest in mitochondrial delivery,we delved into the feasibility and existing research findings on the transportation of mitochondrial fractions or intact mitochondria through small extracellular vesicles and microvesicles to offer a fresh perspective on ischemic stroke therapy.

Porous organic cages(POCs)with permanent porosity and excellent host–guest property hold great potentials in regulating ion transport behavior,yet their feasibility as solid-state electrolytes has never been testified in a practical ***,we design and fabricate a quasi-solid-state electrolyte(QSSE)based on a POC to enable the stable operation of Li-metal batteries(LMBs).Benefiting from the ordered channels and cavity-induced anion-trapping effect of POC,the resulting POC-based QSSE exhibits a high Li+transference number of 0.67 and a high ionic conductivity of 1.25×10^(−4) S cm^(−1) with a low activation energy of 0.17 *** allow for homogeneous Li deposition and highly reversible Li plating/stripping for over 2000 *** a proof of concept,the LMB assembled with POC-based QSSE demonstrates extremely stable cycling performance with 85%capacity retention after 1000 ***,our work demonstrates the practical applicability of POC as SSEs for LMBs and could be extended to other energy-storage systems,such as Na and K batteries.

Analysis of Chinese Anti-Suit Injunctions in SEP Litigation

In this article,two cases of Standard Essential Patents,ruled by the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China,are presented and *** first Chinese anti-suit injunction in SEP litigation appeared in the first case through the method of behavior preservation,and the second case illustrates a clear intent by the Chinese courts to compete for global royalty rate *** international concerns raised about these cases,it is proved that the anti-suit injunction cases in China do not show any abusive or illegal *** worldwide anti-suit injunctions in China are granted legitimately with legal jurisdiction over the cases,sufficient legal grounds for behavior preservation with the nature of anti-suit injunctions,the necessity of granting worldwide injunctions,and suitable granting *** pieces of advice are proposed for the future application of anti-suit injunctions,including improvements in the predictability of validity scope,consistency of implementation,and clarification of penalties.

The discrete variational method (DVM)and cluster model are used to study the electronic structure and atomic configuration of the hydrogen-vacancy complex in *** optimum location of hydrogen atom in the monovacancy in iron is determined by minimizing the total energy and the bond characteristic between hydrogen and iron atoms is analyzed Meanwhile, the positron annihilation characteristics of the hydrogen -vacancy complex is also calculated.

Quantum teleportation of an arbitrary superposition of atomic states

This paper proposes a scheme to teleport an arbitrary multi-particle two-level atomic state between two parties or an arbitrary zero- and one-photon entangled state of multi-mode between two high-Q cavities in cavity QED. This scheme is based on the resonant interaction between atom and cavity and does not involve Bell-state measurement. It investigates the fidelity of this scheme and find out the case of this unity fidelity of this teleportation. Considering the practical case of the cavity decay, this paper finds that the condition of the unity fidelity is also valid and obtains the effect of the decay of the cavity on the successful probability of the teleportation.

Interactions between bright solitons in different species of Bose-Einstein condensates

The dynamics of a bright bright vector soliton in a cigar-shaped Bose-Einstein condensate trapping in a harmonic potential is studied. The interaction between bright solitons in different species with small separation is derived. Unlike the interaction between solitons of the same species, it is independent of the phase difference between solitons. It may be of attraction or repulsion. In the former case, each soliton will oscillate about and pass through each other around the mass-center of the system, which will also oscillate harmonically due to the harmonic trapping potential.

Scheduling optimization for upstream dataflows in edge computing

Edge computing can alleviate the problem of insufficient computational resources for the user equipment,improve the network processing environment,and promote the user *** computing is well known as a prospective method for the development of the Internet of Things(IoT).However,with the development of smart terminals,much more time is required for scheduling the terminal high-intensity upstream dataflow in the edge server than for scheduling that in the downstream *** this paper,we study the scheduling strategy for upstream dataflows in edge computing networks and introduce a three-tier edge computing network *** propose a Time-Slicing Self-Adaptive Scheduling(TSAS)algorithm based on the hierarchical queue,which can reduce the queuing delay of the dataflow,improve the timeliness of dataflow processing and achieve an efficient and reasonable performance of dataflow *** experimental results show that the TSAS algorithm can reduce latency,minimize energy consumption,and increase system throughput.

Soliton dynamical properties of Bose Einstein condensates trapped in a double square well potential

We first present an analytical solution of the single and double solitions of Bose-Einstein condensates trapped in a double square well potential using the multiple-scale method. Then, we show by numerical calculation that a dark soliton can be transmitted through the square well potential. With increasing depth of the square well potential, the amplitude of the dark soliton becomes larger, and the soliton propagates faster. In particular, we treat the collision behaviour of the condensates trapped in either equal or different depths of the double square well potential. If we regard the double square well potential as the output source of the solitons, the collision locations （position and time） between two dark solitons can be controlled by its depth.
