Previous evidence demonstrates that a public health crisis triggers and intensifies domestic violence,especially against *** pandemic of COVID-19 supported this observation,as the world witnessed an increase in domestic *** has witnessed a similar *** the Chinese government is applying a stringent model of virus control measures over COVID-19 when compared to certain other countries,many questions remain:How is this impacting the situation of domestic violence in China?What has China done to combat domestic violence during COVID-19?What can we learn from the Chinese experience?This article intends to answer these questions by reviewing reports and media coverage and conducting interviews with ***,it examines causes of domestic violence during ***,it analyses the types and features of domestic violence during ***,the article intends to discover the current difficulties in combatting domestic ***,it presents good practices for specific local ***,it concludes with recommendations for tackling domestic violence during public health crises,such as the COVID-19 pandemic,by understanding the Chinese experience.

Abstract:The development of China’s human rights path is driv-en by both external and internal factors,influenced by general prin-ciples of human rights worldwide while also following China’s own endogenous *** concept of the“Two Integrations”reflects the continuous theoretical innovation of the Chinese Communist Party based on China’s national conditions,significantly illustrating the en-dogenous logic of China’s human rights *** these,the“basic principles of Marxism”occupy a“core”position within the endoge-nous logic of China’s human rights path,and to some extent,embody an understanding of the inherent laws of human ***,“China’s specific realities”and“fine traditional Chinese culture”serve as the“living water sources”for the ongoing advancement of China’s human ***“Two Integrations”represent an intrinsic requirement of historical materialism and practical *** logical structure of“One Core,Two Sources”explains the endogenous nature of China’s human rights path,offering both an interpretation of the driving forces behind China’s human rights path and a defense of its rationality.

In the Country-specific by the Commission on human rights,developed countries lead selective supervision and review the human rights conditions in developing countries,contributing to the inequality in the roles of developed and developing countries and highlighting the unfairness and unreasonableness of the international human rights *** the Universal Periodic Review by the human rights Council,developed countries and developing countries are procedurally equal when evaluating the human rights conditions of other countries,and the evaluation of human rights conditions has transitioned from selective to *** development from the Country-specific Review to the Universal Periodic Review system is the result of China and other developing countries working together to optimize the internal governance structure of the human rights Council to rationalize its operational *** the Universal Periodic Review system cannot immediately change the predominant status of the Western human rights discourse,it provides a mechanism for all countries to express their human rights values on an equal *** is an important manifestation of a fairer and more reasonable international human rights mechanism.

Novel ACTG1 mutation causing autosomal dominant non-syndromic hearing impairment in a Chinese family

γ -actin （ACTG1） gene is a cytoplasmic nonmuscle actin gene, which encodes a major cytoskeletal protein in the sensory hair cells of the cochlea. Mutations in ACTG1 were found to cause autosomal dominant, progressive, sensorineural hearing loss linked to the DFNA 20/26 locus on chromosome 17q25.3 in European and American families, respectively. In this study, a novel missense mutation （c.364A〉G; p.I122V） co-segregated with the affected individuals in the family and did not exist in the unaffected family members and 150 unrelated normal controls. The alteration of residue Ile122 was predicted to damage its interaction with actin-binding proteins, which may cause disruption of hair cell organization and function. These findings strongly suggested that the I122V mutation in ACTG1 caused autosomal dominant non-syndromic hearing impairment in a Chinese family and expanded the spectrum of ACTG1 mutations causing hearing loss.

Value of pre-treatment biomarkers in prediction of response to neoadjuvant endocrine therapy for hormone receptor-positive postmenopausal breast cancer

Objective： To determine the predictive ability of biomarkers for responses to neoadjuvant endocrine therapy （NET） in postmenopausal breast cancer. Methods： Consecutive 160 postmenopausal women with T 1-3 N 0-1 M 0 hormone receptor （HR）-positive invasive breast cancer were treated with anastrozole for 16 weeks before surgery. New slides of tumor specimens taken before and after treatment were conducted centrally for biomarker analysis and classified using the Applied Imaging Ariol MB-8 system. The pathological response was evaluated using the Miller ＆ Payne classification. The cell cycle response was classified according to the change in the Ki67 index after treatment. Multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to calculate the combined index of the biomarkers. Receiver operating characteristic （ROC） curves were used to determine whether parameters may predict response. Results： The correlation between the pathological and cell cycle responses was low （Spearman correlation coefficient =0.241, P〈0.001; Kappa value =0.119, P=0.032）. The cell cycle response was significantly associated with pre-treatment estrogen receptor （ER） status （P=0.001）, progesterone receptor （PgR） status （P〈0.001）, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 （Her-2） status （P=0.050） and the Ki67 index （P〈0.001）, but the pathological response was not correlated with these factors. Pre-treatment ER levels [area under the curve （AUC） =0.634, 95% confidence interval （95% CI）, 0.534-0.735, P=0.008] and combined index of pre-treatment ER and PgR levels （AUC =0.684, 95% CI, 0.591-0.776, P〈0.001） could not predict the cell cycle response, but combined index including per-treatment ER/PR/Her-2/Ki67 expression levels could （AUC =0.830, 95% CI, 0.759-0.902, P〈0.001）. Conclusions： The combined use of pre-treatment ER/PgR/Her-2/Ki67 expression levels, instead of HR expression levels, may predict the cell cycle response to NET.

The dominant human rights views in a country or region is closely related to the economic and social development of that country or region and is closely related to human rights practices. Since the launch of reform and opening-up, the development of China’s conception of human rights has gone through many stages. The changes of contemporary Chinese human rights conceptions have gone through the stages from the views of human rights to the theories of human rights, to the norms and practices of human rights, and human rights conceptions developed from avoidance to controversy, from passiveness to initiative, and from learning to construction, which reflects the continuous development of China’s human rights cause. By analyzing the journal records through a search of the human rights and its related keywords, it is possible to chart the evolution and historical context of contemporary Chinese human rights theory.

Shoreline variation and river deltas are among the most dynamic systems in marine environments. The related different variations in spatial and temporal scales play significant roles in land planning and different management applications. Modeling the dynamics of seashore of Boujagh National Park(BNP)which is located on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea in the Sefidrud Delta(SD), considering natural and anthropogenic factors, was the main objective of the current study. To achieve this goal, a combination of remote sensing data, historical data, and numerical simulations was utilized. The BNP covers an area of 3,270 ha and includes two international wetlands, Boujagh and Kiashahr. In earlier periods, this area faced severe morphological changes whereas recently its shoreline has experienced gradual variations. Accordingly, at the first stage, the shoreline variation from 2006 to 2017 was extracted by processing and classifying Operational Land Imager(OLI) and Thematic Mapper(TM) images from Landsat satellites using the Maximum Likelihood approach. In the second stage, the two dimensional MIKE21 model was utilized to identify wave and coastal current patterns and parameters for the year ***, the results showed that, the shoreline of the BNP is affected by several natural and anthropogenic factors. Seaward advancement of the shoreline occurred in zones A(east zone) and C(west zone) due to Caspian Sea Level drop and sedimentation while retreating occurred at Zone B(north zone) influenced by wave and current patterns and reduction of the Sefidrud River flows. Also, the results imply that maintaining the existing conditions results in the disappearance of a considerable part of the ecological area in the BNP. Hence, to manage and preserve the coastline of the BNP complying with the current anthropogenic and natural factors, it is vital to take necessary management measures.

The global COVID-19 pandemic is changing the international order and transforming the lifestyle of the mankind pandemic prevention and control has posed new challenges to the traditional system of basic rights Conflicts between the right to life and other rights, arising from the pandemic prevention and control measures adopted by governments, have triggered academic debates Governments have taken stringent pandemic prevention and control measures to protect the life, health and safety of the public, including restricting their personal freedom, freedom of religious belief as well as freedom in other spheres, with a view to safeguard the right to life In order to prioritize the right to life among the basic rights, its legitimacy basis should be researched on and a reasonable balance should be struck among the right to life, the right to dignity and other freedoms In the post-epidemic era, we should carry forward the human rights culture, optimize the system and mechanism that defend the value of the right to life, and endow the right to life with new connotation and mission.
