The present parper describes the combined treatment of gonococcal arthritis by acupuncture, garlic moxibustion, pricking blood, cupping and drawing hydrarthrus. Dazhui (Du 14), Quchi (LI 11) and Zusanli (St 36) points were selected, plus points along the meridian which were needled as indicated by the affected joint. Results showed that of the 116 cases, 74 were cured., 13 were markedly helped, 11 improved and 11 failed. The total effective rate was 84.5%.

The Effect of Several Commonly Used Antipsychotic Drugs on the Renal Function of Patients with Mental Illness

Objective: To understand the effects of several commonly used antipsychotics on the renal function of patients with mental illness. Method: Collected patients with mental illness who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 2020 to June 2021, and selected as the research subjects patients with psychiatric disorders who were treated with 2 kinds of commonly used antipsychotic drugs;and collected 3 ml of venous blood before treatment and one month after treatment for renal function tests;observed the changes of renal function indexes before and after treatment. Results: In the collected 694 patients with mental illness, before using antipsychotic drugs, the renal function indexes were BUN: 4.42 ± 1.92 mmol/l;Cr: 70.97 ± 16.92 μmol/l;CCr: 88.37 ± 21.07 ml/min;β2-MG: 1.67 ± 0.61 mg/L;UA: 359.90 ± 112.82 μmol/l;CYS-C: 0.92 ± 0.24 mg/L. One month after using antipsychotics, BUN: 3.77 ± 1.37 mmol/l;Cr: 70.46 ± 16.71 μmol/l;CCr: 87.78 ± 20.63 ml/min;β2-MG: 1.75 ± 0.64 mg/L;UA: 332.53 ± 91.48 umol/l;CYS-C: 0.92 ± 0.24 mg/L;the renal function indexes of urea nitrogen, β2 microglobulin, uric acid and other items all changed significantly. The differences before and after treatment were statistically significant, P < 0.01. Conclusion: Several commonly used antipsychotic drugs have a greater impact on the renal function of patients with mental illness. During the treatment, the changes in renal function should be monitored regularly, if severe renal damage is found, the treatment plan or dosage should be adjusted in time to avoid endangering life.

Objective: To treat ascites in patients with grade 3 liver cirrhosis using traditional chinese medicine, evaluate effectiveness and safety by observing improvements in physical and mental symptoms, explore optimal treatment measures, and benefit clinical practice. Methods: 40 patients with ascites of liver cirrhosis admitted to our department from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected. According to a random number table, all patients were divided into an observation group treated with Yao medicine and a control group treated with conventional Western medicine, with 20 cases in each group. The improvement of adverse emotions was evaluated before and after treatment using the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS). The changes in liver function indicators were observed to judge the efficacy and safety. Results: The effective rate in the observation group was 95.00%, and in the control group was 90.00%. The comparison between the two groups showed a significant increase in the effective rate in the observation group, with a statistically significant difference (P P P > 0.05). After treatment, compared with the control group, the observation group showed a significant decrease in SDS and SAS scores, with a statistically significant difference (P medicine can effectively improve the physical and mental symptoms of patients with ascites of liver cirrhosis, with good effectiveness and high safety.

Objective:To explore the differences in the central response after acupuncture and moxibusbution at Zusanli(足三里ST36) in treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD) based on the analysis of fractional amplitude of low frequency fluctuation(fALFF) of resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rfMRI).Methods:A total of 60 patients with FD were randomized into an acupuncture group and a moxibustion group,30 cases in each *** the acupuncture group,acupuncture was applied to bilateral *** the moxibustion group,moxibustion was exerted at bilateral *** treatment was given once a day,5 times a week,totally for 4 weeks in each group,including 20 treatments with acupuncture or ***,before and at the end of treatment,rfMRI scanning was conducted in two *** data processing assistant for resting-state fMRI(DPARSF) software and MATLAB data platform,rfMRI data were collected for preprocessing and fALFF ***:Compared with the data before treatment,after treated with acupuncture at ST36 in FD patients,fALFF value was reduced in the right superior frontal gyrus,left superior frontal gyrus,left inferior frontal gyrus,right cuneus,left precuneus,right middle occipital gyrus,left middle occipital gyrus,etc.,and it was increased in the left parahippocampus,right parahippocampus,left cerebellum,etc(all P <0.01).After treated with moxibustion,the remarkable increase of fALFF was not discovered in brain areas,but fALFF decreased significantly in the left superior parietal gyrus(P <0.01).Compared with moxibustion at ST36,after acupuncture at ST36 in FD patients,the increase of fALFF appeared in the right putamen and the decrease of it occurred in the middle occipital gyrus,indicating the statistical significance(both P <0.05).Conclusion:The differences in central function responses are induced in treamtent with acupuncture and moxibustion,which is probably related to the resting-state default network associated with targeted regulation and
