BACKGROUND Knee diseases are more common in middle-aged and elderly people,so artificial knee replacement is also more used in middle-aged and elderly *** the patient’s pain can be reduced through surgery,often accompanied by moderate pain after surgery and neutralization,which not only increases the psychological burden of the patient,but also greatly reduces the postoperative recovery effect,and may also lead to the occurrence of postoperative adverse events in severe *** To investigate the analgesic effect of artificial intelligence(AI)and ultrasoundguided nerve block in total knee arthroplasty(TKA).METHODS A total of 92 patients with TKA admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were opted and divided into two groups according to the treatment *** control group received combined spinal-epidural *** research group received AI technique combined with ultrasound-guided nerve block *** sensory block time,motor block time,visual analogue scale(VAS)at different time points and complications were contrasted between the two *** The time of sensory block onset and sensory block perfection in the research group was shorter than those in the control group,but the results had no significant difference(P>0.05).Duration of sensory block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control group(P0.05).Duration of motor block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control *** VAS scales of the research group were significantly lower than that of the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The postoperative hip flexion and abduction range of motion in the research group were significantly better than those in the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The inciden

Effect of sequential assist-control ventilation on cardio-pulmonary function and systemic inflammatory state of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure patients

Objective:To discuss the effect of sequential assist-control ventilation on cardio-pulmonary function and systemic inflammatory state of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure ***: A total of 90 cases of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure patients, who were treated in our hospital between May, 2012 and Feb., 2016, were selected, and were divided into study group (n=45) and control group (n=45) based on random number table. Patients in control group were given auxiliary - control ventilation. (A/C) treatment during the whole course, while patients in study group were given A/C+BiPAP treatment. Cardio-pulmonary function and serum inflammatory factor content difference was compared inboth groups before and after ***: Before treatment, difference ofcardiac function indicator, ABG level and inflammatory factor content in both groups had no statistical significance. After treatment, cardiac function indicator (PASP, RVd) levels in both groups were lower than before treatment, and EFRV levels were higher than before treatment, and changes in study group were more obvious than that in control group;ABG indicator (PaO2) levels in both groups were higher than before treatment, and PaCO2 levels werelower than before treatment, and changes in study group were more obvious than that in control group;serum inflammatory factor (hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α) content in both groups was lower than before treatment, and changes in study group were more obvious than that in control ***: sequential assist-control ventilation could optimize the cardio-pulmonary function of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure patients and reduce the systemic inflammatory response.

Changes of serum pancreatic stone protein and cholinesterase contents in children with sepsis and their correlation with systemic inflammatory response and target organ damage

Objective: To study the changes of serum pancreatic stone protein (PSP) and cholinesterase (ChE) contents in children with sepsis and their correlation with systemic inflammatory response and target organ damage. Methods: A total of 64 children with sepsis who were treated in the hospital between January 2015 and January 2017 were selected as observation group, and 50 healthy children who received vaccination in the hospital during the same period were selected as normal control group. The contents of PSP, ChE, inflammatory factors as well as liver and kidney function indexes in the two groups were detected. Pearson test was used to assess the correlation of serum PSP and ChE contents with systemic inflammatory response and target organ damage in children with sepsis. Results: Serum PSP content of observation group was higher than that of control group while ChE content was lower than that of control group;serum inflammatory factors PCT, CRP, IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10 contents of observation group were higher than those of normal control group;liver function indexes TBIL, ALT and AST contents were higher than those of normal control group;kidney function indexes Scr and BUN contents were higher than those of normal control group. Pearson test showed that the serum PSP and ChE contents in children with sepsis were directly correlated with the systemic inflammatory response as well as liver and renal function injury. Conclusion: Serum PSP content significantly increases while ChE content significantly decreases in children with sepsis and the specific change is directly correlated with the overall disease severity.

Correlation of serum Aβ1-42 content with inflammatory factors and receptors as well as antioxidant enzymes in patients with Parkinson's Disease

Objective: To investigate the correlation of serum β-amyloid 1-42 (Aβ1-42) content with inflammatory factors and receptors as well as antioxidant enzymes in patients with Parkinson's Disease. Methods: A total of 48 patients with Parkinson's disease who were treated in this hospital between December 2014 and October 2017 were selected as Parkinson's disease group, and 50 healthy volunteers who received physical examination in this hospital during the same period were selected as normal control group. The differences in serum contents of Aβ1-42, inflammatory factors and receptors as well as antioxidant enzymes were compared between the two groups, and Pearson test was used to assess the correlation between serum Aβ1-42 content and illness in patients with Parkinson's disease. Results: Serum Aβ1-42 content of Parkinson's disease group was lower than that of normal control group;serum inflammatory factors and receptors IL-2, sIL-2R, IL-6 and sIL-6R contents were higher than those of normal control group;serum antioxidant enzymes SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TPX contents were lower than those of control group. Pearson test showed that serum Aβ1-42 content of patients with Parkinson's disease was directly correlated with the contents of inflammatory factors and receptors as well as antioxidant enzymes. Conclusions: Serum Aβ1-42 content decreases in patient with Parkinson's disease, and the specific content is directly correlated with the condition of Parkinson's disease, and can be used as an important auxiliary indicator for diagnosis and judgment of Parkinson's disease.

Objective To evaluate the long-term outcome and prognostic factors of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)from low-endemic regions of China who received definitive intensity-modulated radiation therapy(IMRT).Methods The clinical data from 608 patients with newly-diagnosed non-metastatic NPC who have received initial treatment at our cancer center from January,2008 to December,2013 were retrospectively *** patients received definitive IMRT,and 87.7%received platinum-based *** The median follow-up duration was 51 months(follow-up rate,98.5%;range,10–106 months)for the entire *** 5-year overall survival rate was 79.7%.The 5-year local relapse-free survival rate,regional relapse-free survival rate,distant metastasis-free survival rate and progression-free survival rate were 92.4%,93.3%,79.2%and 74.3%,respectively.A total of 153 patients had experienced treatment failure,with distant metastasis as the primary cause in 77.1%(118/153).Patients with T4 or N3 diseases had a significantly poorer prognosis than other *** T4 and N3 were closely associated with distant metastasis,with the metastatic rate of 29.3%and 45.5%,*** IMRT provides patients with non-metastatic NPC with satisfactory long-term *** T stage and N stage are important prognostic factors for NPC *** with T4 or N3 diseases have significantly increased distant metastatic rates and poor survival time.

To better understand the outcomes of small cell lung cancer（SCLC）,we examined the clinical features and prognostic factors of SCLC in this study.A total of 148 patients who were diagnosed as having SCLC between January 2009 and December 2013 in Cancer Center of Union hospital,Wuhan,China,were enrolled and their clinical features and prognostic factors were retrospectively ***-rank test and Cox regression model were employed for analysis of prognostic *** 1-and 2-year overall survival（OS） rates were 59.7% and 25.7%,respectively,for limited disease（LD） patients whose median survival time（MST） was 16 *** 1-and 2-year OS rates were 29.5% and 5.3%,respectively,for extensive disease（ED） patients whose MST was 10 *** univariate analysis and multivariate analysis revealed that age,tumor stage,serum CEA and Ki-67 antigen were significantly correlated to the outcomes of SCLC,and they were significant prognostic factors for SCLC.

Expression and Clinical Significance of Semaphorin4D in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Its Impact on Malignant Behaviors of A549 Lung Cancer Cells

This study aimed to explore Semaphrin4D（Sema4D） expression and clinical significance in non-small cell lung cancer（NSCLC）, and to define the roles and mechanisms of Sema4 D in regulating the malignant behaviors of A549 cells by small interfering RNA（siRNA）. Firstly, immunohistochemistry revealed that Sema4 D was more frequently expressed in NSCLC than in lung benign lesion（P〈0.05） and its overexprssion was associated with low differentiation（P〈0.05）, poor pTNM staging（P〈0.05） and occurrence of lymph node（LN） metastasis（P〈0.05）. Endogenous Sema4 D expression was suppressed by Sema4 D siRNA in A549 cells overexpressing Sema4 D. Protein levels of Sema4 D, total Akt and p-Akt were examined by Western blotting. Cell proliferation, migration and invasion abilities were measured by MTT assay and Transwell assay respectively. Results showed that Sema4 D siRNA significantly suppressed phosphorylation of AKT in A549 cells, but it did not alter total AKT expression. In addition, efficient down-regulation of SemaD significantly inhibit cell proliferation（P〈0.05）, migration（P〈0.05） and invasion（P〈0.05） in A549 cells. These findings suggest that Sema4 D might serve as a reliable tool for early prediction of NSCLC poor prognosis. Sema4 D could play an important role in promoting tumor proliferation, migration and metastasis in the NSCLC, by influencing the Akt protein phosphorylation. Inhibition of Sema4 D may be a useful approach for the treatment of NSCLC.
