＜正＞ By evaluating the profitability of the moving average technical trading rules, we test the weak-form efficiency of hong kong’s private residential market. Based on a repeated-sales housing price index, we find that the trading rules that rely on the stock market property index as the buy/sell signal generator produce higher profits and higher Sharpe ratios than does investing in the property stocks. We may obtain even higher profits when the gearing characteristic of down payments is considered. Simulated results show that profitability and speculative transactions decreases with increasing transaction costs and down payments.

Objectives： To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Guipi Decoction（归脾汤, GPD） as an adjunctive in the treatment of depression. Methods： A review of all relevant studies retrieved from a search of the following databases were conducted without any language restriction： Excerpt Medica Database（EMBASE）, Pub Med, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）, VIP Information, Wanfang Data, and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database. Papers published until February 2013 were taken into consideration. The analysis was performed using the Cochrane software Revman 5.1. Results： Nine randomized controlled trials involving 620 patients with depression were included in this review. The meta-analysis revealed that compared with antidepressant therapy alone, treatment with a combination of GPD and an antidepressant drug significantly improved the symptoms of depression [weighted mean difference（WMD）： –3.09; 95% confidence interval（CI）： –4.11 to –2.07] and increased the rates of effectiveness（OR： 4.75; 95% CI： 2.66–8.51） as well as recovery（OR： 1.73; 95% CI： 1.17–2.56）. The adverse effects of GPD were not found to be significant in these studies. Conclusions： The findings of this meta-analysis were in keeping with the notion that GPD formulations were effective in the treatment of depression without causing any severe adverse effects. However, currently available evidence was of low quality and therefore inadequate to justify a strong recommendation of using GPD formulations in the management of depression.

Background:Right ventricular pacing disrupts atrioventricular synchrony and increases the risk of atrial fi brillation(AF).However,whether algorithms for minimizing ventricular pacing reduce the incidence of AF remains ***,we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare the incidence of AF between minimizing ventricular pacing and conventional pacing protocols in patients with pacemakers ***:The PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane Library databases were searched up to August 1,2017,for randomized controlled trials that reported the incidence of AF in patients with and without the use of algorithms for minimizing ventricular ***:Eleven studies comprising 5705 participants(61%males,mean age 71 years[standard deviation 11 years])were fi nally included in the *** mean follow-up duration was 24 *** of algorithms for minimizing ventricular pacing signifi cantly reduced the incidence of AF,with an odds ratio of 0.74(95%confi dence interval 0.55–1.00;P<0.05).There was moderate heterogeneity among studies(I 2=63%).Conclusions:The incidence of AF was reduced by 26%with use of algorithms for minimizing ventricular *** incorporation of such algorithms in routine clinical practice should in theory lead to a decrease in AF-related morbidity and mortality.

Fluorescent probes play a key role in modern biomedical research. As compared to inorganic quantum dots (QDs) composed with heavy metal elements, organic dye-based fluorescent nanoparticles have higher biocompatibility and are richer in variety. However, traditional organic fluorophores tend to quench fluorescence upon aggregation, which is known as aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) effect that hinders the fabrication of highly emissive fluorescent nanoparticles. In this work, we demonstrate the synthesis of organic fluorescent dots with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) in far-red/near-infrared (FA/NIR) region. A conventional ACQ-characteristic fluorescent dye, 3,4:9,10-tetracarboxylic perylene bisimide (PBI), is converted into an AIE fluorogen through attaching two tetraphenylethylene (TPE) moieties. The fluorescent dots with surface folic acid groups are fabricated from PBI derivative (DTPEPBI), showing specific targeting effect to folate receptor-overexpressed cancer cells. In vivo studies also suggest that the folic acid-functionalized AIE dots preferentially accumulate in the tumor site through enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect and folate receptor-mediated active targeting effect. The low cyto-toxicity, good FR/NIR contrast and excellent targeting ability in in vitro/in vivo imaging indicate that the AIE dots have great potentials in advanced bioimaging applications.

When using the projection method(or fractional step method)to solve the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations,the projection step involves solving a large-scale pressure Poisson equation(PPE),which is computationally expensive and *** this study,a machine learning based method is proposed to solve the large-scale *** machine learning(ML)-block is used to completely or partially(if not sufficiently accurate)replace the traditional PPE iterative solver thus accelerating the solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes *** ML-block is designed as a multi-scale graph neural network(GNN)framework,in which the original high-resolution graph corresponds to the discrete grids of the solution domain,graphs with the same resolution are connected by graph convolution operation,and graphs with different resolutions are connected by down/up prolongation *** well trained MLblock will act as a general-purpose PPE solver for a certain kind of flow *** proposed method is verified via solving two-dimensional Kolmogorov flows(Re=1000 and Re=5000)with different source *** the premise of achieving a specified high precision(ML-block partially replaces the traditional iterative solver),the ML-block provides a better initial iteration value for the traditional iterative solver,which greatly reduces the number of iterations of the traditional iterative solver and speeds up the solution of the *** experiments show that the ML-block has great advantages in accelerating the solving of the Navier-Stokes equations while ensuring high accuracy.
