Shaft is one of the important links of mine production. In recent years, wellbore deviation has occurred many times in various regions of China, especially under the condition of thick water-rich loose layer, wellbore deviation has become an important factor that seriously affects the safety of mine production and miners’ life. Taking the serious deviation of shaft in Guotun Coal Mine in Shandong Province as an example, this paper analyzes the causes of wellbore deviation from the aspects of wellbore geological conditions and wellbore construction methods, and grouting treatment engineering carried out on the deviated shaft under the condition of mine production. Through on-site grouting construction, repair and treatment are remarkable, which provides reference for the subsequent surface grouting treatment engineering of wellbore deviation.

Background:To investigate the associations of lens power with age,axial length(AL),and Type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM)in Chinese adults aged 50 and ***:Random clustering sampling was used to identify adults aged 50 years and above in urban regions of *** participants underwent a comprehensive ophthalmic examination including subjective refraction,autorefraction,and *** crystalline lens power was calculated using Bennett’s ***:A total of 4177 adults were included.A linear decrease in lens power was observed both with age and with AL,followed by a stop of lens power loss after the age of 70 or when AL≥25 mm,*** with Type 2 DM presented higher lens power(0.43 diopter(D),p<0.001)and thicker lens thickness(0.06 mm,p<0.001).In multivariate regression models,there was a positive correlation between lens power and Type 2 DM when age<75 years(p<0.001)or AL<25 mm(p<0.001)after adjusting for other factors,while no significant association was found in participants aged≥75 years(p=0.122)or with AL≥25 mm(p=0.172).Conclusions:The lens power in adults aged 50 and above exhibited two stages with age and with *** 2 DM caused an increase in lens power,which was not seen in participants aged≥75 years or with AL≥25 mm.

The sustainable recovery and utilization of sludge bioenergy within a circular economy context has drawn increasing attention,but there is currently a shortage of reliable *** study presents an innovative biotechnology based on free nitrous acid(FNA)to realize sustainable organics recovery from waste activated sludge(WAS)in-situ,driving efficient nitrogen removal from ammonia rich mature landfill leachate by integrating partial nitrification,fermentation,and denitrification process(PN/DN-F/DN).First,ammonia((1708.5±142.9)mg·L^(-1))in mature landfill leachate is oxidized to nitrite in the aerobic stage of a partial nitrification coupling denitrification(PN/DN)sequencing batch reactor(SBR),with nitrite accumulation ratio of 95.4%±2.5%.Then,intermediate effluent(NO_(2)^(-)-N=(1196.9±184.2)mg·L^(-1))of the PN/DN-SBR,along with concentrated WAS(volatile solids(VSs)=(15119.8±2484.2)mg·L^(-1)),is fed into an anoxic reactor for fermentation coupling denitrification process(F/DN).FNA,the protonated form of nitrite,degrades organics in the WAS to the soluble fraction by the biocidal effect,and the released organics are utilized by denitrifiers to drive *** ultra-fast sludge reduction rate of 4.89 kg·m^(-3)·d^(-1) and nitrogen removal rate of 0.46 kg·m^(-3)·d^(-1) were realized in the ***,F/DN-SBR effluent containing organics is refluxed to PN/DN-SBR for secondary denitrification in the post anoxic *** 175 d operation,an average of 19350.6 mg chemical oxygen demand organics were recovered per operational cycle,with 95.2%nitrogen removal and 53.4%sludge ***/DN-F/DN is of great significance for promoting a paradigm transformation from energy consumption to energy neutral,specifically,the total benefit in equivalent terms of energy was 291.8 kW·h·t^(-1) total solid.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficacy and safety of different dosages of modified Zhibaidihuang decoction(MZBDD) on polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) hyperandrogenism(HA) ***: Ninety PCOS HA patients and 30 infertile patients due to tubal factor were selected. Ninety PCOS HA patients were randomly divided into three groups: low dosage group(LDG), medium dosage group(MDG) and high dosage group(HDG) and infertile patients were selected as normal control group(NCG). PCOS HA patients were treated with different dosage of MZBDD for 4 weeks. For HA patients, serum total testosterone(T), estrodial(E2), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), prolatin(PRL), alanine aminotransferase(AST), aspartate amino transferase(AST) were determined before and after treatment, while acne scores(Rosenfield) were signed. Basal body temperatures(BBT) were asked to be measured every day. And for the else, T, E2,FSH, LH, PRL, AST, and AST were determined before ***: Totally 111 patients completed the clinical research. There were no differences among the four groups on serum T before treatment(P =0.221). Serum T concentration of both MDG and HDG after treatment significantly were lower than that of before treatment(P = 0.039, P = 0.000),while there was no obvious difference in LDG(P =0.829). Serum T concentration of both MDG and HDG were significantly lower than that of LDG after treatment(P = 0.048, P = 0.006). To compared with before treatment, there were no differences in Serum FSH, LH, E2, P and PRL among the three groups(LDG, MDG, HDG)(as for FSH, P = 0.136, P = 0.503,P = 0.062; as for LH, P = 0.473, P = 0.513, P = 0.096;as for E2, P = 0.206, P = 0.927, P = 0.076; as for PRL,P = 0.120, P = 0.903, P = 0.407, as for P, P = 0.308, P =0.866, P = 0480). Acne scores of all the three groups were obviously lower than that of before treatment(P = 0.031; P = 0.033; P = 0.002). 39.5% of the patients had biphasic BBT, but there were no differences among the

The effects of edible coatings made of chitosan, or chitosan nanoparticles, and their combinations with clove oil on the physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory properties of grey mullet (Mugil cephalus) steaks during refriger-ated storage (4 °C) for 24 days were evaluated. The data indicated that metrics for all of these characteristics were improved significantly (P ≤ 0.05) in coated fish steak samples compared to the control sample. The coated steaks texture values were higher than those of control sample through storage time with nanochitosan coating containing clove oil having best value 2.51 kg/cm2 among tested samples at the end of storage period. However, pH values of coated samples were lower, a good indicator, than corresponding one of the control (6.46) with nanochitosan coatings with or without clove oil showed low mean values (6.11-6.13). Similar trend regarding chemical indices, i.e. total volatile basic-nitrogen, trimethylamine, peroxide, and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances values for samples coated with nanochitosan with or without clove oil giving better lower values than control or other treatments. Also, the coating delayed microbial (aerobic plate count, psychrotrophic bacteria, yeasts and molds, and total coliform bacteria) growth during the refrigeration storage period, and coated samples produced better results compared to the control sample. Sensory evaluations showed that the treatment enhanced the scores of fish steak samples compared to the control. The results showed that a nanochitosan coating with clove oil was the best treatment prolonged the shelf life of mullet steaks and efficiently maintained the quality attributes to an acceptable level during refrigerated storage for 24 days. Thus, these findings can be bases for producer to provide consumers with fresh fish steaks with good shelf life at refrigerated temperature for up to 24 days.

“Optoanesthesia”: The Application of Transcranial Photobiomodulation to General Anesthesia

General anesthesia relies on pharmacological anesthetics. However, some side effects of anesthetics have been observed. Non-pharmacological transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) as an adjuvant treatment may reduce the dosage of pharmacological anesthetics while maintaining anesthetic depth. The inhibitory effects of tPBM in terms of central nervous system depression render it a potential approach for inducing general anesthesia. Alteration of quantum processes of neuronal microtubules, the mechanisms of general anesthesia on consciousness, may occur in response to tPBM treatments. Further, tPBM as an adjuvant treatment may facilitate the distribution of the pharmacological anesthetics in the brain. The analgesic effects of photobiomodulation (PBM) are acknowledged, and PBM has been used for regional analgesia. However, whether tPBM can be used for general anesthesia is unknown. Here, I define “optoanesthesia” as “the use of tPBM for general anesthesia”. I hypothesize that optoanesthesia can act as a means of general anesthesia. Supporting evidence in the form of unconsciousness, amnesia, and immobilization is provided in this paper. In addition, the tPBM-induced frequent yawning (a manifestation of transient arousal-shift during the continuing loss of consciousness during induction of general anesthesia) observed incidentally in my previous study of tPBM preconditioning for seizures also supports the hypothesis. I further discuss the issues with respect to the pharmacokinetics, parameters of optoanesthesia such as wavelength and targeted brain regions, and apparatus design, as well as the compatibility of the optoanesthesia and the Bispectral Index Monitoring System during surgery. Future research is needed to prove this hypothesis.
