Taxonomy notes on Vandeae(Orchidaceae)from China:Five new species and two new records

Puya Molina is a striking example to study recent rapid species radiation. It is a typical and endemic plant group in the Andes that originated in central Chile and moved to the northern Andes tracking the uplift of mountains. In this study, we obtained complete chloroplast genomes of nine Puya species, including P. hamata, P. nitida, P. goudotiana, P. santosii, P. ferruginea, P. raimondii, P. hutchinsonii, P. macropoda, and P. macrura. we explored the relationships of 17 Puya plastomes, including these sampled and five published Puya individuals(P. laxa, P. alpestris, P. coerulea, P. hutchinsonii, and P. mirabilis). The total size of the Puya plastomes ranged from 159,542 bp to 159,839 bp with 37.3-37.4% GC content. The Puya plastomes were highly conserved in organization and structure with a typical quadripartite genome structure. The whole genome harbors 133 genes, which included 87 protein coding genes, 38 tRNA genes, and 8 rRNA genes. 69-78 tandem repeats, 45-60 SSR loci, and 22-31 repeat structures were found among 13 species. Four protein-coding genes were identified under positive selection pressure in Puya. 12 hotspot regions were identified in the plastomes that can be used as effective chloroplast DNA markers for phylogenetic study of Puya species. We assessed complete plastome(only one IR), three commonly used DNA barcode(rbcL + matK + trnH-psbA) and 12 novel barcode candidates obtained from highly variable plastome regions(rpoB-trnCGCA + trnCGCA-petN + trnKUUU-rps16 + psbK-psbI + psbI-trnSGCU + trnSGCU-trnGGCC + psbC-trnSUGA + trnSUGA-psbZ + accD-psaI + psbE-petL + ndhFrpl32 + and rpl32-trnLUAG). Based on BI and ML phylogenetic tree, the results suggested that complete plastomes and a set of 12 novel DNA barcodes could be efficiently used as a genetic marker to distinguish between Puya species. Five new species(Gastrochilus yei,Gastrochilus minimus,Luisia simaoensis,Taeniophyllum xizangense,Tuberolabium subulatum)and two newly recorded species(Cleisostoma tricornutum,Luisia inconspicua)of Vandeae(Orchidaceae)from China are described and *** yei is similar to *** and ***,but differs from them by having an epichile not lobed,the apex of the hypochile not bilobed,and a tine on the apex of the *** minimus is similar to ***,but can be distinguished from the latter by having a flabellate epichile that is densely hirsute on the adaxial surface and an inconspicuous central cushion;in addition,the hypochile of *** has a keel that extends to the apex of the *** xizangense is similar to *** and ***,but it is distinguished from them by having much bigger flowers,inflorescences densely covered with short-bristly hairs,papillae on the external surface of sepals,and bigger triangular-ovate *** simaoensis is similar to L magniflora and L ramosii,but can be easily distinguished from them by having lateral sepals longer than dorsal sepals and petals,lip with irregular and waved margins,and lip with bilobed *** inconspicua is moved from Gastrochilus to Luisia based on phylogenetic analyses of plastid matK sequence *** subulatum is similar to ***,but it can be easily distinguished from the latter by having an inflorescence much shorter than the leaves,yellow sepals and petals,and many small papillae outside the lip lobes.

Taking the stone reliefs of the Han Dynasty in the ancient Xuzhou region as materials,the paper studied the roofi ng forms of pavilion rooms and halls in the Han Dynasty from the perspective of roof and ridge style and its decorative features combined with literature *** result showed that most of the roofs were straight slopes but the roof ridge diversifi *** to the different degree of warping,there are straight without warping,gentle and slight warping and large arc warping etc.,the warping forms had the roof characteristics of ancient Chinese architecture in both north and south China,showing diversifi ed and beautiful *** the technical treatment of structure and art,the roofi ng created a highly expressive images and eliminated the negative effect of the big lumpish and depressive *** images of phoenix and Chiwen(two imaginary birds in ancient Chinese myth,with auspicious implications)in the roof ridge decorations refl ected the development of architectural structure technology and decorative art of Xu-Style gardens in the Han Dynasty.

The community living around the Cikaniki Area of Gunung Halimun Salak National Park(CAGHSNP)uses various plants to fulfill their *** habits are related to indigenous knowledge of using plants as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities,which dynamic societal changes have not *** study aimed to inventory and update potential plants used as food,medicine,construction,and household utilities by local communities in the Cikaniki area,and measure and analyze their cultural and ethnobotanical *** study objected to five hamlets in the Cikaniki at Malasari Village,Nanggung District,Bogor Regency,West Java,*** quantitative analysis was calculated based on the Informant Consensus Factor,Fidelity Level,and Use *** analyzed the qualitative data based on the data collection through observation,interviews,and documentation from informants and respondents in five *** study recorded 199 plant species from 75 families used by the community of *** most utilized species in Cikaniki were Staurogyne elongata,Caryota mitis,Blumea balsamifera,Castanopsis argentea,Pilea melastomoides,and Piper *** are 72 species of plants used as food,122species for medicinal purposes,and 50 species of plants used for construction and household *** potential plant species in the CA-GHSNP,their utilization categories,and recommendation for conservation strategy are discussed.

本工作首次在实验室条件下对浅生区紫硫镍矿(Ni,Fe)3S4交代镍黄铁矿(Ni,Fe)9S8水热反应的机理及动力学进行了研究。起始反应矿物采用高纯自然镍黄铁矿,合成纯镍黄铁矿或合成镍黄铁矿-磁黄铁矿集合体。反应pH值采用0.2M醋酸-醋酸纳缓冲溶液控制在3～5的范围内。反应进程由X-射线衍射物相定量分析及扫描电镜观察进行跟踪。结果表明,当反应温度恒定在80℃时,交代20(4)%的镍黄铁矿需792h。相同条件下加入少量H2S可将反应速率提高一倍。当反应在125℃饱和蒸汽压水热环境下进行时,完全交代纯镍黄铁矿需约168h。此过程由于磁黄铁矿的存在而被催化,交代集合体中的镍黄铁矿仅需68h,进一步反应磁黄铁矿被交代成白铁矿。磁黄铁矿的催化作用可能源于溶解产生的微裂纹加速了流体的传质过程。当反应温度升高至145℃时,速率反而下降,不遵循Arrhenius经验规律。动力学分析得80℃速率常数介于5.8×10-8～3.0×10-7/s之间,125℃及145℃速率常数分别介于2.8×10-6～2.08×10-5/s及1×10-6～5.1×10-6/s之间,远高于同温度下固相扩散反应的速率常数,表明该反应在地质时标上为一快速反应。此外,用背散射电子显微技术对矿物表面形貌进行了分析,发现交代产物紫硫镍矿具有颗粒细小及存在微裂纹等特征,与自然界浅生矿床中的紫硫镍矿非常相似;电镜实验还表明该交代作用是一个典型的耦合溶解-再沉淀反应。其耦合机制的驱动力可能与反应界面处微空隙对流体饱和度的控制有关。

Liparis aureolabella and L mengziensis,two new species from the karst region of southwestern China,and L bingzhongluoensis,a new species from montane region in Yunnan,are described and illustrated.L aureolabella is easily distinguished from its relatives by having abaxially purple leave with purple reticulate veins prominent adaxially,a lip auriculate at base,and falcate-lanceolate *** mengziensis is closely related to *** and ***,but differs from them by having an ovate to broadly ovate leaf,purple lip and apex connate along the *** bingzhongluoensis is similar to Liparis nanlingensis,but the new species is characterized by having a lip with two transparent ridges on its disc,longitudinally concave basal callus and triangular column *** analyses based on nuclear ribosomal ITS and plastid matK sequences showed that L aureolabella and L mengziensis are nested with L petiolata or L auriculata in a monophyletic clade.L bingzhongluoensis is sister to a clade formed by ***,***,L sasakii and ***,morphological comparisons strongly support that the three species as separated species newly to science.
