Traditional single-acting piezoelectric-hydraulic hybrid actuators usually have the problem of inertial force caused by flow pulsation of the liquid,which degrades their output *** suppress or solve the associated inertial force and enhance its output capabilities,this paper proposes a new type of double-acting piezoelectric-hydraulic hybrid actuator with four check valves acting as mechanical *** new hybrid actuator was fabricated and its output performance was *** the voltage is 700 Vp-pand the bias pressure is 2 MPa,the pulsation ratesδof the new actuator at 400 Hz,500 Hz and 600 Hz are 2.29,2.08 and 1.78,respectively,whileδof the single-acting hybrid actuator under the same conditions are 10.98,11.05 and ***,the liquid pulsation rate of the new hybrid actuator is significantly reduced,which is beneficial for improving the flow uniformity and weakening the influence of inertial force on the hybrid *** strategy ultimately leads to a maximum no-load velocity of 168.1 mm/s at 600 Hz and a maximum blocking force of 141 N at 450 Hz for the new hybrid *** addition,this strategy has the potential to be used in other electrohydrostatic actuators to improve their performance.

Recently, with the emergence of ChatGPT, the field of artificial intelligence has garnered widespread attention from various sectors of society. Reservoir Computing (RC) is a neuromorphic computing algorithm used to analyze time-series data. Unlike traditional artificial neural networks that require the weight values of all nodes in the trained network, RC only needs to train the readout layer. This makes the training process faster and more efficient, and it has been used in various applications, including speech recognition, image classification, and control systems. Its flexibility and efficiency make it a popular choice for processing large amounts of complex data. A recent research trend is to develop physical RC, which utilizes the nonlinear dynamic and short-term memory properties of physical systems (photonic modules, spintronic devices, memristors, etc.) to construct a fixed random neural network structure for processing input data to reduce computing time and energy. In this paper, we introduced the recent development of memristors and demonstrated the remarkable data processing capability of RC systems based on memristors. Not only do they possess excellent data processing ability comparable to digital RC systems, but they also have lower energy consumption and greater robustness. Finally, we discussed the development prospects and challenges faced by memristors-based RC systems.

Objective:To compare the effectiveness of an evidence-based bundle in minimizing cesarean section(CS)-related surgical site infections(SSIs)with that of standard routine ***:This was a single-center,parallel,and randomized clinical trial conducted at KAHER’s *** Kore Charitable Hospital,Belagavi,India,from January 2021 to December 31,*** hundred twenty women undergoing CS delivery were selected and allocated into two groups(1:1)using simple randomization with fixed *** evidence-based surgical bundle(a combination of more than three perioperative interventions)was used for the intervention group,whereas the control group received routine standard perioperative *** primary outcome was the incidence of SSI(superficial,deep,and organ or space SSIs)within 6 weeks postpartum in both *** and continuous data were analyzed using appropriate statistical tests with a significance threshold set at P<***:In this study,16 and 17 participants each from the control and intervention groups,respectively,were lost to follow-up,resulting in a total of 144 and 143 study participants included in the respective ***-eight(19.4%)and 14(9.8%)women developed SSI in the control and intervention groups,respectively(P=0.02).Methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus was the most common cause of SSI in both groups(63.6%(7/11)and 100%(3/3)in the control and intervention groups,respectively).Conclusion:The use of the evidence-based bundle for CS-related SSI prevention effectively decreased the incidence of SSI by half compared to standard routine *** the use of this bundle in routine perioperative care will reduce the cost of CS and improve health outcomes in CS.
