TSC prediction and dynamic control of BOF steelmaking with state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning methods

Mathematical(data-driven)models based on state-of-the-art(SOTA)machine learning and deep learning models and data collected from 12,786 heats were established to predict the values of temperature,sample,and carbon(TSC)test,including temperature of molten steel(TSC-Temp),carbon content(TSC-C)and phosphorus content(TSC-P),which made prepa-ration for eliminating the TSC *** maximize the prediction accuracy of the proposed approach,various models with different inputs were implemented and compared,and the best models were applied to the production process of a hesteel group steelmaking plant in China in the *** number of tabular features(hot metal information,scrap,additives,blowing practices,and preset values)was expanded,and time series(off-gas profiles and blowing practice curves)that could reflect the entire steelmaking process were introduced as ***,the latest machine learning models(LightGBM,CatBoost,TabNet,and NODE)were used to make predictions with tabular features,and the best coefficient of determination R^(2)values obtained for TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp predictions were 0.435(LightGBM),0.857(Cat-Boost)and 0.678(LightGBM),respectively,which were higher than those of classic models(backpropagation and support vector machine).Then,making predictions was performed by using SOTA time series regression models(SCINet,DLinear,Informer,and MLSTM-FCN)with original time series,SOTA image regression models(NesT,CaiT,ResNeXt,and GoogLeNet)with resized time series,and the proposed Concatenate-Model and Parallel-Model with both tabular features and time *** optimization and comparisons,it was finally determined that the Concatenate-Model with MLSTM-FCN,SCINet and Informer as feature extractors performed the best,and its R^(2)values for predicting TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp reached 0.470,0.858 and 0.710,*** field test accuracies for TSC-P,TSC-C and TSC-Temp were 0.459,0.850 and 0.685,respectively.A related importance analysis was carri

Fracture geometry and breakdown pressure of radial borehole fracturing in multiple layers

Tracing Sources of Geochemical Anomalies in a Deeply Buried Volcanic-Related Hydrothermal Uranium Deposit:the Daguanchang Deposit,Northern Hebei Province,North China Craton

Radon(Rn)and helium(He)gases from uranium decay form distinct anomalies related to buried uranium *** order to trace the geochemical anomalous sources from the volcanic-related uranium deposits in deeply buried areas,systematical Rn contents and He isotope ratios were analyzed from the Daguanchang uranium *** soil gas Rn concentrations above the deep uranium are ten times higher than those in barren areas,indicating that instantaneous Rn content measurements can be used to detect deeply buried *** helium isotope ratios(^(3)He/^(4)He)of the unmineralized samples from the mineralized drill hole(ZK1)are relatively lower and uniform compared to those of the samples from no-mineral drill hole(ZK2).However,the Th and U contents of the drill core samples from ZK1 are slightly lower than those of the samples from ZK2,indicating that the lower 3He/4He ratios in ZK1 are most likely due to the addition of 4He from underlying uranium *** differences in the instantaneous Rn contents are consistent with the variations in the He isotope ratios of the drill core *** results demonstrate that soil gas Rn and ^(3)He/^(4)He ratios are useful tracers and can indicate the existence of deeply buried volcanic-related hydrothermal uranium ores.

This study introduces a novel method integrating CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing for enhanced oil recovery and CO_(2)underground storage,a solution to the limited vertical stimulation reservoir volume in horizontal well fracturing.A numerical model is established to investigate the production rate,reservoir pressure field,and CO_(2)saturation distribution corresponding to changing time of CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing.A sensitivity analysis on the influence of CO_(2)injection location,layer spacing,pressure difference,borehole number,and hydraulic fractures on oil production and CO_(2)storage is *** CO_(2)flooding process is divided into four *** in layer spacing will significantly improve oil production rate and gas storage ***,serious gas channeling can occur when the spacing is lower than 20 *** the pressure difference between the producer and injector,the borehole number,the hydraulic fracture height,and the fracture width can also increase the oil production rate and gas storage *** analysis shows that layer spacing and fracture height greatly influence gas storage and oil *** outcomes are expected to provide a theoretical basis for the efficient development of shale oil reservoirs in the vertical direction.

An Immune-Inspired Approach with Interval Allocation in Solving Multimodal Multi-Objective Optimization Problems with Local Pareto Sets

In practical engineering,multi-objective optimization often encounters situations where multiple Pareto sets(PS)in the decision space correspond to the same Pareto front(PF)in the objective space,known as Multi-Modal Multi-Objective Optimization Problems(MMOP).Locating multiple equivalent global PSs poses a significant challenge in real-world applications,especially considering the existence of local *** identifying and locating both global and local PSs is a major *** tackle this issue,we introduce an immune-inspired reproduction strategy designed to produce more offspring in less crowded,promising regions and regulate the number of offspring in areas that have been thoroughly *** approach achieves a balanced trade-off between exploration and ***,we present an interval allocation strategy that adaptively assigns fitness levels to each *** strategy ensures a broader survival margin for solutions in their initial stages and progressively amplifies the differences in individual fitness values as the population matures,thus fostering better population ***,we incorporate a multi-population mechanism that precisely manages each subpopulation through the interval allocation strategy,ensuring the preservation of both global and local *** results on 21 test problems,encompassing both global and local PSs,are compared with eight state-of-the-art multimodal multi-objective optimization *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm in simultaneously identifying global Pareto sets and locally high-quality PSs.

Inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs) have attracted broad research and industrial interest owing to their suppressed hysteresis,cost-effectiveness,and ***,the issue of non-radiative recombination losses at the n-type interface between the perovskite and fullerene has impeded further improvement of photovoltaic ***,we modify the n-type interface of FAPbI_(3) perovskite films by constructing a stereochemical two-dimensional(2D) perovskite interlayer,in which the organic cations comprise both pyridine and ammonium *** pyridine N donor can create stable bonding with the surface-uncoordinated Pb on the perovskite,thereby passivating the shallow-level defects and enhancing the air stability of the ***,the pyridine N donor also offers a positive polar interface to decrease the surface work function of the perovskite film,enabling n-type ***,we employ a p-i-n photovoltaic(PV) device with the positive dipole interlayer at perovskite/fullerene contact and achieve remarkable photoelectric conversion efficiency(PCE) of 22.0%.
