The Li metal battery with ultrahigh-nickel cathode(LiNi_(x)M_(1-x)O_(2),M=Mn,Co,and x≥0.9)under high-voltage is regarded as one of the most promising approaches to fulfill the ambitious target of 400 Wh/***,the practical application is impeded by the instability of electrode/electrolyte interface and Ni-rich cathode *** we proposed an electron-defect electrolyte additive trimethyl borate(TMB)which is paired with the commercial carbonate electrolyte to construct highly conductive fluorine-and boron-rich cathode electrolyte interface(CEI)on LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)(NCM90)surface and solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)on lithium metal *** modified CEI effectively mitigates the structural transformation from layered to disordered rock-salt phase,and consequently alleviate the dissolution of transition metal ions(TMs)and its“cross-talk”effect,while the enhanced SEI enables stable lithium plating/striping and thus demonstrated good compatibility between electrolyte and lithium metal *** a result,the common electrolyte with 1 wt%TMB enables 4.7 V NCM90/Li cell cycle stably over 100 cycles with 70%capacity *** work highlights the significance of the electron-defect boron compounds for designing desirable interfacial chemistries to achieve high performance NCM90/Li battery under high voltage operation.

The neutron total cross-section of ^(nat)Cr plays a crucial role in new nuclear engineering design and fundamental science.A new measurement of the neutron-induced total cross-sections of ^(nat)Cr was performed using the transmission method on the back-streaming white neutron beamline(Back-n)at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS).The neutron energy was determined using the time-of-flight *** neutron total cross-sections of ^(nat)Cr were obtained across a broad energy range(0.3 eV−20 MeV)in one experiment for the first *** resulting effective total cross-sections were compared with the existing experimental data in different energy ranges,which revealed good agreement with the evaluated *** calculation of the total cross-section in the energy range of 1.5 to 20 MeV was then conducted using TALYS-1.96 and compared with the present *** measurement provides a high-quality total cross-section of ^(nat)Cr,including detailed uncertainty data across a wide energy range,offering a valuable reference for nuclear data re-evaluation and nuclear engineering design.

The first example of TBAI/H_(2)O cooperative electrocatalytic coupling-annulation of quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones with N-arylglycines was developed. A broad range of tetrahydroimidazo[1,5-a]quinoxalin-4(5H)-ones were obtained in good to excellent yields with exclusive chemoselectivities and excellent regioselectivities. The H-hydrogen bond served as a key factor for the electrocatalytic production of aminomethyl radical at lower oxidative potential.

Recent statistics regarding COVID-19,the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus,show that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major global impact,with the virus infecting more than 3.5 billion individuals and causing more than 15 million deaths since the start of the pandemic[1,2].Back in April 2020,when the World Health Organization(WHO)declared COVID-19 a global pandemic,we performed the first systematic review and meta-analysis and found that patients with a preexisting chronic condition such as hypertension,cardiovascular disease,chronic kidney disease,or diabetes had a significantly higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 and/or COVID-19-related death[3].
