Elucidating the intricate co.relation between calendering,structure,and performance is crucial to co.prehending the relationship between performance parameters and process steps of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Discrete element method(DEM)simulations were adopted in this work to calculate the interparticle force and stress tensor under incremental calendering process co.ditions,which revealed the effect of the anisotropy of co.plex co.tact force network on the anisotropy of heat transfer within porous electrode.The thermal co.ductivity of electrode was predicted using porosity to characterize the process-structure-performance co.relation.The co.prehensive influence of co.tact number and co.-tact area between particles and current co.lector determines the magnitude of interfacial thermal resistance and interfacial heat transfer co.fficient.For the first time,this work quantitatively analyzed the structural mechanics and heat transfer mechanism during calendering process of porous electrodes,and the results indicate a promising way to optimize and design battery electrode structures.

Real flatness images are the bases for flatness detection based on machine vision of co.d rolled strip.The characteristics of a real flatness image are analyzed,and a lightweight strip location detection(SLD)model with deep semantic segmentation networks is established.The interference areas in the real flatness image can be eliminated by the SLD model,and valid information can be retained.On this basis,the co.cept of image flatness is proposed for the first time.An image flatness representation(IFAR)model is established on the basis of an autoenco.er with a new structure.The optimal structure of the bottleneck layer is 16×16×4,and the IFAR model exhibits a good representation effect.Moreover,interpretability analysis of the representation factors is carried out,and the difference and physical meaning of the representation factors for image flatness with different categories are analyzed.Image flatness with new defect morphologies(bilateral quarter waves and large middle waves)that are not present in the original dataset are generated by modifying the representation factors of the no wave image.Lastly,the SLD and IFAR models are used to detect and represent all the real flatness images on the test set.The average processing time for a single image is 11.42 ms,which is suitable for industrial applications.The research results provide effective methods and ideas for intelligent flatness detection technology based on machine vision.

Walnuts are rich in protein and are a high-quality plant protein resource.In recent years,with the growth of co.sumer demand for functional food and food for special medical purpose,the use of walnut protein for the preparation of functional walnut peptide ingredients or additives and other co.positions has received increasing attention.However,the improvement of the yield of walnut peptides and the clarification of their functional activities are the bottlenecks that limit the development of these peptides.To this end,this article reviews the pretreatment,preparation,purification and identification processes of walnut peptides,as well as their biological activities such as antioxidant activity,antitumour activity,improvement of memory,antihypertension and regulation of metabolic disorders are elaborated to provide a reference for the industrial development of walnut peptides.

Three-dimensional stability calculation method for high and large co.posite slopes formed by mining stope and inner dump in adjacent open pits

The 2D limit equilibrium method is widely used for slope stability analysis.However,with the advancement of dump engineering,co.posite slopes often exhibit significant 3D mechanical effects.co.sequently,it is of significant importance to develop an effective 3D stability calculation method for co.posite slopes to enhance the design and stability co.trol of open-pit slope engineering.Using the co.posite slope formed by the mining stope and inner dump in Baiyinhua No.1 and No.2 open-pit co.l mine as a case study,this research investigates the failure mode of co.posite slopes and establishes spatial shape equations for the sliding mass.By integrating the shear resistance and sliding force of each row of microstrip co.umns onto the bottom surface of the strip co.responding to the main sliding surface,a novel 2D equivalent physical and mechanical parameters analysis method for the strips on the main sliding surface of 3D sliding masses is proposed.Subsequently,a co.prehensive 3D stability calculation method for co.posite slopes is developed,and the quantitative relationship between the co.rdinated development distance and its 3D stability co.fficients is examined.The analysis reveals that the failure mode of the co.posite slope is characterized by cutting-bedding sliding,with the arc serving as the side interface and the weak layer as the bottom interface,while the destabilization mechanism primarily involves shear failure.The spatial form equation of the sliding mass co.prises an ellipsoid and weak plane equation.The analysis revealed that when the co.rdinated development distance is 1500 m,the error rate between the 3D stability calculation result and the 2D stability calculation result of the co.posite slope is less than 8%,thereby verifying the proposed analytical method of equivalent physical and mechanical parameters and the 3D stability calculation method for co.posite slopes.Furthermore,the3D stability co.fficient of the co.posite slope exhibits an exponential co.relation with the co.rdinated development dista

An internal defect meter is an instrument to detect the internal inclusion defects of co.d-rolled strip steel.The detection accuracy of the equipment can be evaluated based on the similarity of the multiple detection data obtained for the same steel co.l.Based on the co.ine similarity model and eigenvalue matrix model,a co.prehensive evaluation method to calculate the weighted average of similarity is proposed.Results show that the new method is co.sistent with and can even replace artificial evaluation to realize the automatic evaluation of strip defect detection results.

Maize(Zea mays L.)-soybean(Glycine max L.Merr.)relay intercropping provides a way to enhance land productivity.However,the late-planted soybean suffers from shading by the maize.After maize harvest,how the reco.ery growth influences the leaf and nodule traits remains unclear.A three-year field experiment was co.ducted to evaluate the effects of genotypes,i.e.,supernodulating(nts1007),Nandou 12(ND12),and Guixia 3(GX3),and crop co.figurations,i.e.,the interspecific row spacing of 45(I45),60(I60),75 cm(I75),and sole soybean(SS),on soybean reco.ery growth and N fixation.The results showed that intercropping reduced the soybean total leaf area(LA)by reducing both the leaf number(LN)and unit leaflet area(LUA),and it reduced the nodule dry weight(NW)by reducing both the nodule number(NN)and nodule diameter(ND)co.pared with the SS.The co.relation and principal co.ponent analysis(PCA)indicated a co.variability of the leaf and nodule traits in response to the genotype and crop co.figuration interactions.During the reco.ery growth stages,the co.pensatory growth promoted soybean growth to reduce the gaps of leaf and nodule traits between intercropping and SS.The relative growth rates of ureide(RGR_U)and nitrogen(RGR_N)accumulation were higher in intercropping than in SS.Intercropping achieved more significant sucrose and starch co.tents co.pared with SS.ND12 and GX3 showed more robust co.pensatory growth than nts1007 in intercropping.Although the reco.ery growth of relay intercropping soybean improved biomass and nitrogen accumulation,ND12 gained a more significant partial land equivalent ratio(pLER)than GX3.The I60 treatment achieved more robust co.pensation effects on biomass and N accumulation than the other co.figurations.Meanwhile,I60 showed a higher nodule sucrose co.tent and greater shoot ureide and N accumulation than SS.Finally,intercropping ND12 with maize using an interspecific row spacing of 60 cm was optimal for both yield advantage and N accumulation.

Longitude profiled cladded sheet is obtained by rolling bimetal cladded sheet with variable gauge rolling technology.The longitude profiled rolling process of Cu/Al cladded sheets was studied by finite element method and experiments.The rolling force rises with the increase in reduction,and a sudden change appears at the end of the thickness variation zone.The thickness ratio of co.per layer is enlarged after rolling owing to its relatively large deformation resistance and co.tinues to rise with the increase in reduction rate.Lower elongation of co.per side leads to the warpage of exit metal to co.per side,which further hinders the deformation of co.per.The influence of asymmetric rolling parameters indicates that increasing the work roll diameter ratio,speed radio,and friction co.fficient on Al side can reduce the warpage when the reduction rate is below a certain value depending on the thickness ratio and other rolling parameters.co.parison of experiments and simulation results showed good agreement and verified the finite element model.

Many spot defects were found on the surface of a co.d-rolled Fe-36%Ni alloy strip produced in a factory,which seriously affected the surface quality of the product.Through metallographic microsco.y and scanning electron microsco.y analyses,it was found that the spot defects were caused by the residual oxide layer on the surface of the co.d-rolled Fe-36%Ni alloy strip after hydrogen annealing.By properly increasing the grinding amount of the blank before co.d rolling to remove the oxide layer,the spot defects on the surface of the co.d-rolled strip were effectively eliminated,and the surface quality of the product was ensured.

For asymmetric plate shape,co.trol over the hot rolling process mainly depends on the subjective judgement and personal experience of the operator as there are great deviations and much instability in hot rolling.Unfortunately,the intrinsic mechanisms and sensitivity affecting characteristic parameters and variables in the asymmetric rolling process remain understudied.Therefore,a novel mechanism fusion data co.trol method for slab camber in hot rolling using dimensional analysis and data-driven technique was proposed.The approach of dimensional analysis was used to establish a mathematical model and analyse the main parameters affecting the slab camber of the rough rolling.Subsequently,the established mathematical model co.bined with the data-driven techniques was employed to accurately predict the slab bending value.Furthermore,the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed model were demonstrated by a co.parison with three regression models.Finally,the proposed co.trol strategy was successfully applied in a 1580 mm hot rolling industrial process.The automatic co.trol results show that the hit rate of slab cambers in different sizes from 10 to 30 mm is improved,and the quality stability of intermediate slab is significantly improved.

Efforts to protect electric power systems from faults have co.monly relied on the use of ultra-high frequency(UHF)antennas for detecting partial discharge(PD)as a co.mon precursor to faults.However,the effectiveness of existing UHF antennas suffers from a number of challenges such as limited bandwidth,relatively large physical size,and low detection sensitivity.The present study addresses these issues by proposing a co.pact microstrip patch antenna with fixed dimensions of 100 mm×100 mm×1.6 mm.The results of co.putations yield an optimized antenna design co.sisting of 2nd-order Hilbert fractal units positioned within a four-layer serpentine arrangement with a fractal unit co.nection distance of 3.0 mm.Specifically,the optimized antenna design achieves a detection bandwidth for which the voltage standing wave ratio is less than 2 that is approximately 97.3%of the UHF frequency range(0.3–3 GHz).Finally,a prototype antenna is fabricated using standard printed circuit board technology,and the results of experiments demonstrate that the proposed antenna is capable of detecting PD signals at a distance of 8 m from the discharge source.
